Gary was a perfectionist which is excellent when you want the floor to look perfect. As soon as he came over and looked at the floor he was the only one that said the existing floor would look good when it was finished. I had two other quotes both trying to say that the floor is not up to much. It’s an original 1930’s parquet floor and we wanted to keep it as it’s part of the history of the house. We had alot to renovate and trusted him. He worked late a few nights to make sure he kept on programme.
If you’re worried about the dust don’t. It’s not that bad at all. He’s really tidy aswell.

Gary has taken our distinctly average floorboards, which had 15-year-old varnish, scratches and water staining, and restored them to a really amazing floor. It honestly looks and feels like brand new boards - there's not a single mark anywhere! He got right into the corners, made sure we were happy with the finish at every stage and was always discussing options to make sure we were happy.

A pleasure to have such a perfectionist and someone who clearly loves transforming wooden floors. I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone.

We contacted Gary to quote for fitting herringbone wood flooring throughout our downstairs (3rooms), as we have original parquet herringbone in our hallway. It was clear from the quote visit how passionate Gary is about his trade. He spent nearly an hour going through the options, and how the flooring would connect from room to room in a seamless way. We are delighted with the finished solid oak herringbone product. Gary is a perfectionist and the care and attention he spent fitting our floor is clear to see. It’s flawless and looks amazing. Gary is something of a perfectionist - wood is his passion and for us he strived to do get the very best result from our old tired stained floorboards. He is not one of those tradesmen who is rushing to get finished to go on to the next job, he takes his time and does all that he has quoted for and at the price he quoted. We thoroughly recommend him.

Gary and his team where great. Very clean and a fantastic finish we will be using them again that’s for sure.

We moved into a house with neglected and abused solid Walnut flooring, deep scratches and dents in addition to an outdated gloss finish were crying out for attention.
What a transformation carried out by Gary, we now have a fabulous lounge and dining room with the Walnut floor looking just as it should. Gary’s attention to detail, his knowledge and experience are commendable. Definitely recommend and worthy of five stars.

Great job, turned well worn and discoloured parquet floors into a beautiful feature.

Outstanding work from Gary, would happily use him again. He turned a 100 year old parquet floor that had never seen the light of day and had a plasterer from years before use it as a work station, into a beauty wooden floor that we don't intend to even cover with a rug as it is so stunning. Highly recommend.

Gary had already finished work for Christmas when he took the time to visit my home in order to see exactly what needed doing to restore my original wooden floorboards back to life. I felt at ease straight away as he discussed what repairs were needed and how the overall look would be acheived. Gary stayed late almost every evening (whilst remaining considerate at all times of the neighbours) as the job proved to be more complex than originally thought. When choosing a stain he was very patient with my decision making, even travelling back to his unit in order to grab some more options for me to see.
It is clear that Gary takes extreme pride in his work, no ask was ever too much. He very kindly gave me some leftover stain for my stair bannister so I can match it to my new floors.

Majestic recently refurbished the oak floor in our kitchen/diner/lounge area. We had pretty much written it off, as it had received significant abuse from previous owners, including several deep stiletto heal marks, an awful yellow varnish, together with dents, scuffs, and grooves resulting from the removal of a heavy piano. Gary and his colleague did a fantastic job over two days in repairing and refinishing the floor and have achieved an excellent, natural finish we didn't think was possible. They were polite, courteous and professional, and completed all aspects of the work to time. We are extremely impressed with the results, and would have no hesitation in recommending Majestic to anyone who thinks their wood floor is beyond repair.

The floors in my apartment had become scratched scuffed and where heels had been wore at the property there were little indents.

Majestic Wood Floors & Gary did an amazing job of talking me through the process and getting this all booked in.

The final results is outstanding quality and you can't see any of the previous marks or indents! The restoration they have done on the floor has completely changed the look of my property.
