5 stars for the products, zero for wrapping it and making sure it is delivered in one piece…

The package arrived quickly and contained all the cosmetics I ordered.

The package arrived damaged big time; I believe it was insufficiently packed- only wrapped in paper and put to a cardboard box. No bubble wrap for glass bottles with liquid…

Product smells and not what I wanted

I ordered a pallette that showed colors I liked. When I received the product the colors looked nothing like what was shown on their site. To top it off the pallette has a nasty odor to it. I then messaged customer service and they denied any refund or help even though I sent pics to show the difference. I will never shop with them again. I don’t recommend the makeupstore at all. Much better places out there.

Great experience shopping with Makeup Store

I placed my order on 2/2/2024 and I received it on 2/15/24...I was worried, b/c it was stuck in customs ISC in NYC but I realized that when I couldn't track the pckg with USPS, I was still able to track it with Meestpost.com. The two products that I ordered came wrapped very well and even a nice sample was included. The two face creams were sealed and I'm really happy I was able to order these two face creams. I did notice that there were a few sales after I placed the order...I could've saved about $13 more USD...but that's ok..b/c if I would've had the cheaper prices-I wouldn't have had the free shipping that I got. Everything went well and they have lots of products that you can't find here in the USA...plus in 13 days I rcv'd the pckg. Also the pckg was the perfect size..and they were wrapped so well that the products did not roll around during transit. I'll be back to order more very soon. Many thanks~Dziękuję :)

Poor customer service…

A few months ago I ordered several bottles of moisturizer from this website. Upon receiving my order I opened the box to find that three of the seven bottles were damaged, with two of those being so bad that the moisturizer inside was compromised, and the dispensing tops were non-functional. I immediately took pictures of the damaged items and sent them to the company’s customer service department. I soon received a reply stating that my request for a refund or replacement for those two bottles would be sent to their claims department, and that I would be hearing from them soon. That was on December 1, and I have yet to receive any response from the claims department. This issue was only for just under $20, but while it wasn’t much money, I paid for seven bottles, but only received five that were useable, and the company’s response to that was to ignore me. Please do not waste your time or money with this company.

2/7/24: Per company request, the order number, and my full name and phone number were provided to this company (which this company , or any company has no permission to publish in any way). Regarding the company’s response that damage can sometimes happen in delivery, that is true, and was likely at least part of the problem as the package was damaged on arrival. That said, the company is still responsible to their customers for the condition of all purchased items. If damage occurs in shipping, the company needs to make good on that, and then deal with their delivery service. Makeup.com did none of that, and to this day they have done nothing to make good on the two bottles of lotion that had to be thrown away.

I recently had an experience with MakeupStore.com, and I feel compelled to share my feedback. The journey began with a delayed delivery of my orders, which was an inconvenience, to say the least. Upon receiving the items, I discovered that two products, the Argan Oil, Keratin & Collagen Hair Mask and Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Bonacrom Brow & Lash Tint, were opened and damaged.

The customer support team, has been responsive, addressing my concerns promptly. However, the resolution process took an unexpected turn. Despite providing comprehensive evidence of the damages, including photos and detailed descriptions, the company initiated an investigation with the delivery service, presenting the inconvenience as my problem.

Furthermore, MakeupStore.com offered a $5 discount for my next order. While this may be a common practice, I found it somewhat inappropriate given the circumstances. As a customer, I had paid the full price for new products $48.76, that arrived damaged, and my primary concern is a full refund for the affected items, not a discount on future purchases.

In conclusion, the initial experience was marred by delays and damaged products, and the subsequent customer support and resolution process left much to be desired. The company's approach to the situation, including the emphasis on a future discount and an investigation that seems more of a delay tactic, has been disappointing.

I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for MakeupStore.com to enhance its customer service and resolution procedures.

P.S. They pretend that they can't identify my previous review. Seems like they have a lot of customers who are disappointed in their service and with whom they are contacting every day via email.

Terrible costumer service and product arrived broken

Product arrived broken. Emailed them, called them, left a number for them to call. No response. One email saying they needed a picture of a barcode. Its a candle. I legitimately didn't see a barcode on the product. Now i have left for the holidays. Ive sent pictures of the damage and the order receipt. They have been absolutely no help. I got the candle on sale. It is now $40. No way is anyone paying that for a candle. Dont buy from them if ur not ready to get terrible customer service help and broken products.

Missing items, poor customer service

I ordered some soap and the order arrived missing some items. I reached out to them and they claimed that I was not honest about the shortage and took no action. They said they watched a video from their warehouse. I have asked them to send a copy of the video, but have not received any replies. It takes a long time to resolve customer service issues.

Response to Makeup: I did contact them for resolution, they said they have a video while packaging my shipment, and refused to share the video showing they were not at fault! Why would they not share evidence when it proves they are correct. They are dishonest and not customer service oriented.

I recently made a purchase from this…

I recently made a purchase from this store and I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the service I received. The item I ordered was a set of glass bottles, which, to my dismay, arrived severely damaged. The packaging was completely inadequate for such a fragile item, with only paper used for protection, instead of the standard bubble wrap or other protective materials.

What's more, I was not given the option to refuse the delivery, as no signature was required upon receipt. This is a basic practice that most retailers follow, especially when dealing with delicate items, to ensure that the customer is satisfied with the product before accepting it.

The whole experience left me with the impression that the store is more interested in cutting costs than ensuring customer satisfaction. This is not the kind of service I expect when making a purchase, and it certainly doesn't reflect well on the store's reputation.

I have requested a full refund for my purchase, and I am currently awaiting a response. If this is not resolved satisfactorily, I will be forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before making a purchase from this store.

Update:I had to file a dispute with my credit card to get a refund!!! Do yourself a favor and don’t buy from them

Good Products And Delivery

My order took about two weeks to reach me in the USA. Tracking indicated it was coming from Poland, although the address on the package was in the USA. It came well wrapped, and the order was correct. I am happy that through this company I am able to get fine products from Europe. This is not just a makeup store. Various products for skin are also sold, and at a much reduced cost than products with the same ingredients in the USA. I paid $9.00 for shipping, and it still came out to a good deal.

Stay away from themakeupstore.com or makeupstore or makeup because they are skeevy Scamy scammers

Stay away, horrid customer service. Pretends to be nice but is seething in the background. Just dispute any issue with your card provider, don't bother contacting A. D. or S. B. the scam artists. This is America and when we pay for a product here we either get it or our money back.

Btw all of this is because of $1.80... Imagine scamming and trying to nickel and dime customers for $1.80

I contacted my card company and they credited me. As far as I am concerned I got what I wanted, ether the item or my $1.80 back. Please don't contact me anymore. My experience with MakeUp was great

My experience with MakeUp was great. I ordered 3 Italian hair masks which were 3 times cheaper than I can find them here in US; I was so worry it’s a scam and paid my order with PayPal. Like other review says there is some problem with completing address, check carefully because after purchasing no way you can see your order details on their website (I didn’t make account, was like a guest). Next day, they sent me email asking to specify my zip code. I’ve got my package in 9 days (receipt inside of the box was from Poland). All 3 masks were delivered safety, in good condition and exactly as described; Authentic; I used this brand before and can compare. Happy with my purchase. It was a good deal.

Horrible purchase experience

Horrible purchase experience. First, the website system keeps changing the delivery address information and the unit number disappeared. Second CS reached out because address was incomplete and even asked for ID picture. Third, delivery was delayed over 2 weeks. And finally, when tried to return, the return shipping was not offered by the company, even after explaining that I was returning because the products arrived too late for its purpose. I never submit reviews but this customer service was a total disaster and people should know what to expect before buying from this company.

BEWARE: Returns require you to write your bank number down!!!!

I ordered a product and they sent me the wrong item. No issue with the item other than it was not the item I ordered. It took a dozen emails to get them to admit they sent me the wrong item but I would still have to pay the shipping to send it back. On top of that there is a form that you need to hand write all the information on INCLUDING YOUR CREDIT CARD or BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER for them to return your money. I told them that is incredibly insecure and they said that's what needs to be done to get the return.

I'm would never write that information on a piece of paper and send it to some random return address in New Jersey.

Unfortunately I guess I'm just going to have to take the loss and take this as a learning experience and never buy from them again.

Incorrect item and poor customer service

This was my first time ordering from this site. I have been trying to find a particular product for a couple of months, and I ordered from this site because they were the only company that shipped to the US and had the item I wanted. I added two more products to my order as well. However, when I received the package, only two of the three items were correct. The incorrect product was the one I had been looking for. I didn't particularly mind, since I thought it was an easy mistake to make. However, after emailing back and forth with their team, they refuse to acknowledge that they sent the incorrect product. I've sent pictures of what I received vs. what I ordered, but they simply said I could return the item if I paid the shipping costs. I don't understand why this is their only response. I didn't receive the product I ordered from them, but they continue to push the costs of their mistake onto me. I'm at a loss as to what to do, and I understand the other reviewers who posted one star reviews about makeupstore.com's poor customer service. Otherwise, the items arrived well-packaged and in a reasonable amount of time. It's a shame that the customer service makes this website a bad company to do business with.

Make up box not arrived and they don’t answer emails

I’ve ordered a make up case from them for my daughters birthday. It hasn’t arrived, there’s no updates on when it will arrive. I’ve emailed every email address I have for them 6 times now and they don’t respond at all. I’m beginning to think again that this is yet another online scam. Will contact Facebook next if it is a scam and ask them why these people are allowed to advertise on there. They literally take your money as soon as you order and you don’t receive the goods or any answers from them. Be very careful.
I have received the email from you to say my order is received. You have taken the money from my account but I have not received the make up box. I’ve tried contacting you numerous times and have had no response whatsoever. You do have my email address and it is the correct email.

Glad to find out this store

Thanks for the quick shipping. The both shipments were delivered within 7-9 days
from Europe to America. And both orders were packed very carefully and arrived
in original packaging. Recommend this makeup store.

Refused to Honor Advertised Pricing

When placing my order, there was an issue with the web form for entering the address. That resulted in the order being sent to an address that doesn't exist, so the order was returned to sender. When I asked customer service if I could place the order again, they stated that the price had gone up by nearly 50% and wouldn't be able to honor the original price of my order. They claimed their prices were "automated" and they couldn't do anything about it. I've never in my life had a company respond like this, and will not be doing business with them in the future.

Ordered from the affiliated site makeupstore.co.il and got scammed

I ordered a parcel of total cost a total of 300 USD they said that the parcel got delivered when I checked with the delivery company they showed someone signed the parcel but it was not my signature when I called the store they said that it was not their responsibility that I lost my money and don't get my item and the delivery ignoring me company name gaash and the makeup store ignoring too
