Login broken and long delivery times
Tried to login multiple time and had to change password...
Purchased a packet that had delivery date of 5-9 days and at least 3 weeks later it did not arrive. Canceled order and purchase somewhere else and recieved in 3 days.

Awesome experience
Awesome experience! Had my order delivered quickly and with accuracy. The Free Engraving was a bonus as I got it on my dad's favourite bottle of Johnnie Walker for a Christmas Gift! Would gladly use it again and highly recommend it.
Is anybody there?
Placed an order, paid £117 and got a confirmation email saying, "we're getting your order ready for delivery. We will notify you when it has been sent" and "Deliveries take approximately 5-7 business days......... if you have any further questions, please email our friendly delivery team."
14 days later, no delivery or confirmation email of dispatch. Contacted "friendly delivery team" but no response to email and voicemail on telephone.
This was a special gift. A bitterly disappointing service.
A Happy Customer
I was a little worried about my order from here after seeing the average review score after I ordered, but it turns out that I had nothing to worry about. The only reason the score is so low, is because of what seems to have been a pricing error that they didn't fulfil, which angered a lot of customers that caught the error and tried to exploit it. The company was well within their rights to cancel the orders, and it's just unfortunate that payment is automatically processed when orders are made, so it means that refunds had to be issued which of course can take some time, but again, that was out of their control.
Anyway, on to my order. I ordered a gift for my dad on 19th Dec, which I knew was a little late and might not make it for Xmas, so did have a backup plan if it didn't come on time. I was still hopeful it would come though, but was a little worried since the order had not been dispatched yet by Tuesday, so I decided to email them and ask if there was any chance it would come in time. The next day they replied saying they couldn't guarantee it would come in time, but would try their best to get my order out as soon as possible. I'm not sure if it was because of my email, but sure enough, one hour later, I got an email saying my order was dispatched, and not only was it dispatched, it was dispatched via Royal Mail 24 hour tracked, so I received it on time. It was really well packaged and was very happy with my order and will gladly order again in future.
Avoid. Too much hassle.
False advertising online. Product not as described. Absolute nightmare trying to communicate with them to arrange a return. Refund still hasn’t been offered even though I’m legally entitled to one. Really poor all round.

I have nothing but good things to say about MALTS.COM. I placed my order on the 18th August 21 and it was delivered on the 21st. I emailed a question to them on the 19th and had a reply within the hour. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

Misleading and dodgy
Misleading and dodgy. Offers a product on sale, takes payment and cancels order. Then offers a 10% discount as an apology, a code which was already available. Will not use again. Awful customer service. Avoid.
Where Is My Refund
Terrible customer services and shady miss-selling of products.
My Oban was cancelled, no real loss as it’s Oban. To me Oban is a reasonable guest drink. Neither good nor bad much like a Ford Mondeo, it gets the job done.
The order was not processed and the charges were pending. Malts.com & Intervino then charged my account. To do this the vendor has to process the order. Very dodgy.
I spend thousands of pounds on whisky and will never use Intervino, Malts.com again.
Own your mistakes and issue refunds promptly.

I'm going to weigh in a little further here. I actually took steps to call Intervino yesterday when making my order to ensure the offer was genuine. For reference, Intervino's phone number is 01507 602101 and they are the "fulfilment partners" for Malts.com. Intervino's account manager was very friendly, and they assured me that both the price and my orders were genuine. At the end of the day the Oban discount was still within a reasonable realm of possibility (40-45%). They cautioned though that Malts.com had the right to refuse large orders, i.e. typically over either 2 or 4 bottles. That being said both a friend I made small orders for 1 and 2 bottles respectively and both our orders were cancelled. This is an unfair, misleading and unscrupulous practice. Malts.com had a duty of care to try and fulfil as many of these orders as possible, or offer a conciliatory gesture besides for a discount voucher that was widely (and publicly) available before purchase anyway. In the meanwhile countless numbers of consumers have to wait an up to 10 day waiting period that is entirely to the benefit of Malts.com, while receiving nothing in return. I will never order or consider ordering from Malts.com in the future.
