The agent was very patent with me. I have a life-time subscription which I wanted to activate to my wife's computer from a paid subscription. The agent opened a service ticket and helped through an exchange of e-mail's. very helpful.

Malwarebytes is very good at anti-virus. But when I bought a new desktop and had to install my subscription on the new computer, their "AI" chatbox was totally useless. Totally. And although they may publish a "helpline" phone someplace, it was impossible for me to find it. So....only a 2-star

Frustrating at Times because Malware is constantly upselling and I am not sure what exactly I have and what's covered. I would like to be able to opt to a page that clearly outlined my coverage plan, and what devices are covered and with what program. Also there is minimal to no support. Bots are useless. It does do a good job of protecting my computers but I would want to see more granularity and clarity. I received a response to my review with an invitation to describe more thoroughly the issues, but there was no were for me to respond. There was a place to add my name and contact info, and a request for a ticket, but since I had no ticket there was no further place for my information.

I subscribed on the recommendation of the guy repairing my computer. Subsequently, I changed my wife's computer from Norton to Mal. Her subscription renewed on a different schedule, and I tried to combine both renewal dates.
Help is a series of digits and numbers with a robot. I am not sophisticated enough to handle that, and eventually used chat to get to a human. Only took a month. If I have another problem like that, I will check out Norton.

I use Malwarebytes with Norton 360, and the two work together very well. It's nice when multiple tools get along well. I feel confident that Malwarebytes well protects my laptop and phone.

The product(s) are generally good and provide what the say they will do. Found the VPN on occasion significantly slowed down internet speed. It was strange, intermittent. However the more vexing problems arose when I tried to contact Malwarebytes support service. It was abysmally difficult, reliance on stupid bots and it took days to get a response from a person and then sudden overkill with several contacts made to my several attempts to reach someone, but with no with no answer to my questions or resolution of the issue. The subscription process can become complicates and duplicated as well given their sales pushes.

I bought this software when I purchased my computer over 6 years ago and it has worked great. I play games and download mods for my games and it have fond and removed a few viruses over the years. I feel like my computer is safe and I would recommend this to others.

This product is an excellent product that I completely trust. Always kept update, is always in the top 5 of the top ten products. Covers all my needs. Binned McAfee for MalwareBytes. The product Newsletters keep you updated on latest threats and provide professional advice.
On the down side, as a 76 year old retired I.T. Professional, on a limted income, I find the subscription cost expensive. I feel that MalwareBytes should have a Senior Citizen discount of 50% for 70 year old and over Customers. Particular those with at least 3 years subscriptions history.

I've had Malwarebytes installed for several years, on a past and present computer, and find it invaluable; I feel so much safer. I'm really grateful for the newsletters, too, because they highlight faults and flaws and dangers that I would never know about, left to myself. It seems the most trustworthy guardian against the legions of threats online, and I wouldn't be without it.

I have used Malwarebytes for many years. I have had few problems with my computers. I have had to have them sort out my multiple subscriptions which took some telephone time but was resolved. Great antivirus software at a very reasonable price.

I was told by my neighbor who is a computer tech to purchase Malwarebytes to protect my computer. I am a senior citizens.
I've renewed it 3 times. I just purchased a new desktop computer had I had to transfer my subscription of Malwarebytees from one computer to another.
A few days ago I called support and was texting with Chris. You cannot speak to someone only chat on the line. Chris had the patience of a saint and I was frustrated as can be but after 2 1/2 hours we did it!

This is a good company and their services are top of the line. However it would be better for the customer if they were informed about the payment schedule. I got surprised at a payment that was withdrawn from my card without warning.

Update : I was contacted by the company and this issue was resolved. Thank you.

I use this software and have done for many years, and as normal, I'm told my subscription is coming to an end so what do I do? I buy a new subscription because I keep getting the constant warnings and alerts. Today I "activated it" on the software itself because the old subscription finally came to an end, and I found out the new subscription has been running since I bought it - despite not using it on any devices. I think - maybe this is unintentional, let me contact support. The AI chat tells me THIS IS INTENTIONAL. Malware protects you from would be scammer, except ITSELF. If this company wanted to let people add days/months/years to their current subscription, or not have a subscription roll down until it's actually being used, they could easily do this - they don't because they intentionally scam their customers.
I will be looking for alternatives from next year if they don't reach out to resolve this and add a month back to my subscription.

my complaint although I acknowledge partly mine is this, and I have tried to communicate with the company and have a record of these but hope you may solve my dilemma. On Sun 7th Dec and auctioned on Mon 8thDec my Visa was charged $119.99 which I guess was my renewal at easterbrook , On 26th Feb 2026 I was probably on bjjr.68685@ I received notification that my subscription had fallen due so the sum of $119.99 was debited to my visa on Mon 2nd March a fact I had overlooked was probably I was sharing a joint account with my wife Barbara bjjr68685@ and on checking my Visa statement saw the 2 charges. The first went to Cba*Malwarebytes.com and the second to 2Co.Commalware Bytes we share the Visa account also In trying to get an answer to the obvious overcharge I lost ability to log on to the original log on and could see noway I could communicate with a "person" have tried this! Have I been scammed or am I a dumb cluck? John Easterbrook

Received as scam email claiming that malwarebytes charged my account for subscription. Not sure if it's malwarebytes or third party creativity but there are no means on their site to report it other than installing their app. This is a hardly legitimate outfit.
Response to your "response":
If this scam has originated from you, you are a scam.
If this scam is an impersonation, you still are a scam since you don't have means to contact you to report it.

I have Norton teamed with Malwarebytes. They work very well together.
