I actually eat the food myself (a mum) as it’s super
Healthy, delicious and easy to cook. Also I love the range of all the different options. I know it’s meant for babies and toddlers but it’s also perfect for me when I want a quick healthy meal as I’m often tight on time and don’t want to end up eating junk. Thank you for this. Love it. Wish you had been around when my kiddies were younger!

Contacted them several times to cancel my subscription via email (as they ask you to do) and via social media as I'm getting no response. You can't cancel your subscription without emailing them. I have been charged for another order which I clearly stated I don't want. Have received no response despite attempting multiple channels of communication. My first cancellation request email was on 28 Nov (with no response) and I have followed up with another email and messages on social media with no reply. Do not use as you're likely to just keep being charged even if you try to cancel.

The food was a delight for my babies first tastes and helped a lot time wise as I have three children 6 and under. I actually done this with my first two but then had the time to steam, blend and find the right consistency so five years later with baby number 3 it was a dream come true to find mama made food. I have now found routines and make my own food therefore no longer require the service but would certainly recommend it over jar brought food, the nutritional benefits are self explanatory and evidence is in the babies bowel movements if you were to compare with that of jar brought food. Highly recommended.

This is a really great company - the product is excellent and helped us so much when weaning my second as I didn’t have the time to make all the varieties of purée. They have taken care of this element for you and he loved them! Can’t wait to move on to the finger foods now. Customer service has always been excellent too, a really friendly and efficient team who are only too happy to help!

Tried this after seeing it on Instagram and all the grey reviews and I have to say the foods are not great, order the pancake and snake bundle and the pancakes all just tasted like banana and the snacks all tasted like curry.

If I was aware of the one flavour for the foods i would not have brought as my daughter is not a fan of banana.

So for me this was a waste of money and won't be ordering again.

I've started using Mama Made after returning to work and wanting to feed my little one homemade meals, without the time required to be able to make them myself! He has absolutely devoured every single item, he usually throws food on the floor when I let him feed himself but he loves the bites and pancakes so much that he gobbles them all up. The biggest thing I've noticed is that their food genuinely tastes and smells delicious, unlike some of the very questionable and bland ready made baby food you can buy in supermarkets! I've been recommending them to everyone I know, I honestly just think their products are absolutely fab and I love having healthy food in the freezer for my baby that feels homemade. They also don't charge an extortionate amount, prices feel fair for the quality, some competitors are eye watering. 10/10 all around!

Lovely delicious nutritious food - unfortunately my little one isn't fond of it yet but just gotta keep trying - and meanwhile I'm eating up his leftovers! Would be great for busy mums to get an email notification to make any changes before a delivery launches.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the other review that the food was just awful, so dry and bland. Even the ratatouille was essentially just dry cubed vegetables. It’s a shame as the concept is so good, the packaging and the quality of the ingredients brilliant, but my baby and toddler (who usually at least attempt things) wouldn’t touch it. Every meal ended up in the bin.

As a mom who has been making everything from scratch, avoiding all nasties (refined sugars, seed oils, dairy etc) and buying nothing that comes in a packet I was SO excited to try mamamade as I thought I would finally have some 'pre-made' options for when i'm in a pinch. In short, my son (21 months) has not eaten anything we ordered. He has literally taken a bite of each new thing (he is adventurous and is always happy to try something) and spat it out straight out again, and I quite frankly dont blame him. The food texture is so bizarre, completely tasteless and I hate that almost everything has to be microwaved. Microwaves destroy most of the nutrients in food, not to mention all the radiation, so you may as well not bother.

Like some other customers, when I reached out to explain my dissatisfaction, I received a response along the lines of 'Sorry you are disappointed, our food is organic, free from x, y and z' with no other resolution. I make healthy food free from everything Mamamade does too, but it doesn't taste like cardboard.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Yes! I first started using mamamade when my son was 9 months old (he’s now 2.5 years old!!) and I’ve since had a daughter who is 9 months old now and she’s been eating mamamade meals since she was 6 months old. They both love your meals and I’m such an advocate, I’ve recommended you to all of my friends. You definitely make my life a million times easier and I have zero mum guilt because of how healthy everything is!

Great concept, and I love how everything is plant based. However, as an Indian who regularly cooks food for my family (including my 1 year old), the meals so far haven’t tasted good. It’s as if the food has been cooked, dusted with spices and mixed. It doesn’t feel like they’ve been cooked into the food.

My daughter loves veggies, and generally eats everything we make, but these meals have been hit and miss.

Loved the concept of this service; as a mum of two and business owner, time is rarely on my side when it comes to preparing and being organised with meals for the smallest one. The meals sounded right up our street in terms of the things we normally eat as a family, so I had high hopes.

Unfortunately, out of 12 meals ordered, my son enjoyed 2 of them, and just about managed another one without too much fuss. The rest he point blank refused after one mouthful. As other reviewers have suggested, the meals are somewhat lacking in flavour - which might be a good starting point for weaning, but certainly not for a usually unfussy toddler. I tried mixing some of them with other things such as passata and beans, to try and make them a little more saucy (many of the dishes were very dry)and exciting, but this did very little to tempt him, and pretty much defeated the object of us having a meal ready made.

I love that the packaging was all recyclable (we also recycle our soft plastics so nothing got chucked into general waste - except the food, ironically), and the delivery came well chilled and on time. Sadly for us though, we won’t be buying again.

We tried out Mamamade a few weeks ago and it’s been brilliant for both my three year old and my one year old. It’s so handy being able to (very!) quickly give them healthy but tasty snacks and meals at the end of our working day/ their day at nursery and frees up our previous time to spend together as a family instead.

It’s also really lovely to be supporting a fellow mother with her start up business and I hope it continues to grow and be a success, I will certainly recommend Mamamade to other mums :)

I honestly can't tell you enough how much of a life saver the subscription service is for me and my baby! I feel confident my baby can have fresh organic foods and gets to experience a wide variety of healthy and nutritious meals which I otherwise would not have had the time to prepare.

I started giving purees to my baby at 5 months as he is a bigger baby and seems to be taking it on like a natural.

As a child I was a fussy eater and this has impacted how I eat even now in my adult life. I struggle to eat fruits and veg so I have been determined to ensure my baby isn't going to turn out the same.

I gave my baby spinach puree that came as part of the subscription pack. He didn't seem to like it at first but after 3 days of persisting he took a whole bowlful and was opening his mouth for more. I even had enough to give him the next day. Once again he took a whole bowlful!!!

I was so excited and over the moon to see this!

I was conscious of the fact that he could get constipated but I gave him sips of water throughout the day. To my surprise, he opened his bowels the same day (2 days back to back)which he otherwise would not have as he seems to be mildy constipated, going every 2 and sometimes every 3 days).

Overall I am super appreciative of this service and can't wait to try on the new recipes as my baby grows older!

Lovely food, I find these amazing when in a rush and low on veg - particularly the veg/chia seed mixes - chuck then in with protein/pasta and we have a happy toddler!
The bites are good for taking out and about also, my son likes dipping them in yoghurt (at home!!)

I wish I could love this company, the concept is so good. Sadly my toddler (who loves eating) refused all of the mamamade food. To be honest, I don’t blame him - the food was rubbery and bland. The cooking instructions and packaging were poor. I wouldn’t buy again.

Absolutely love these meals for my LO ,i am a single mum and since I have been back at work I am super tierd to cook sometimes and knowing I have a healthy meal in the freezer for him I can just pop into the oven is a life saver, he loves them so it's a win .I get the big toddler bundle monthly subscription,they really have saved me . I love that they have no additives and are just natural ingredients.

Bland, rubbery finger food that my usually adventurous toddler refused to touch. Tried every meal in the 12 box bundle and flat out refusal.

Foods were rubbery and hard on the outside and soggy on the inside when microwaved.

I contacted the company to let them know my experience and they acknowledged that they are ‘trying to improve their toddler meals’.

It was very much ‘thank you for your feedback’ with no attempt to offer any sort of apology despite spending a significant amount of money for food that was fit for the bin.

Steer clear particularly of the toddler meals/finger foods

Time saver, flavoursome, tastes fresh, healthy, reasonably priced and a flexible subscription - what’s not to love! I started my son’s weaning journey with mamamade and we are loving it - it’s really encouraging his taste buds and ability to chew. I find the pots particularly good when I’m out and about with him.
