I've been looking for vegan baby meals for my 1 year old boy and luckily found Mamamade. My baby has Mamamade meal for lunch every day and he loves it! My little one's still getting used to having finger foods so Mamamade has saved me so much hassle when it comes to preparing finger foods myself. I've found Mamamade's finger food bundles very helpful as at the moment, my baby has one or two finger food/s feeding himself and I blend the rest with some soy milk to spoon-feed him. I'm also very happy that Mamamade uses a wide range of nutritious ingredients in the meals. It would be nice though if the amount of food in each meal is increased as my little one eats a lot (at least 200ml per meal).
I'm also very satisfied with communication with Mamamade as the company seems very responsible and approachable.
Based on my experience, I highly recommend Mamamade!

I have been feeding my LO mamamade food from the beginning of our weaning journey. He loves it especially the finger foods and it brings me piece of mind not having to worry about healthy food choices.

Small portions and barely any sauce, food out of oven dried out with burnt spots! Joke!

Like the title says. I’m obsessed. I’ve had a few boxes from Mamamade now and have never had a single fault with any. We’re so busy sometimes that the chore of cooking dinner is too much, so I grab a mamamade meaI and don’t have the guilt of it being a ready meal - because it’s all healthy! These meals have saved my sanity on many occasions.

My little girl absolutely loves them and there hasn’t been a meal she isn’t keen on. I love how you can get meals for any stage of your weaning journey. Don’t even get me started on his delicious the pancakes are!😂

Mamamade not only do great meals for kids but they also offer so much support through their social media to mums and not only on weaning, but all things motherhood. I’ve found their Instagram and Facebook group so valuable and a great place to go where I can see other mums share their feelings too and ask questions.

All in all fabulous company❤️

Utterly disappointed.

I found this company after struggling to find good quality toddler meals for my now 1.5yr old girls. I was really excited by the variety of meals and snacks.

I ordered a toddler meal/snack bundle and a finger food bundle as a one off to try. I’m really glad I didn’t get a subscription.

My girls have never been fussy and eat a range of foods from homemade to different brands, but they would not eat these. And I don’t blame them.

The range was either incredibly dry (the bites and pancakes), had the consistency of wet cardboard (the blueberry muffin, brownies & the fingers), or were genuinely inedible (all the meals).

For context we tried:
Spinach bites, lentil bites, veggie bites, banana and oat pancakes, sweet potato pancakes (so dry)
Muffin bites, cacao brownie bites, polenta fingers (wet cardboard and smelt very bad).
Lentil shepherds pie, pasta & meatballs, kale pesto pasta, beetroot burger and mash (all tasted bland and the consistency was terrible).

I tried microwaving them and also oven cooking them to see if it made a difference but it doesn’t.

So now, after giving up trying to feed them to my girls, I’m left with around 14 of these that I’m going to have to throw away.

Anyway. Live and learn lesson for me. Don’t always believe the hype, it’s not always going to work for everyone.

I wouldn’t recommend or order again obviously.

UPDATE: Was called today and offered refund which was very nice. Had a chat and explained the problems with food I had. Was nice to see a business invested in the feedback and so keen to resolve/evolve their processes and food. WELL DONE 👏

Love the meals! High quality and easy to prep and ALL organic which is perfect as I want the best for my son! Tasty and yummy with different flavours to get my son used to all different tastes and textures!

Have been stuck in a rut with meal and snack ideas. I'm a busy working mum so don't always have the time to cook and want to make sure my little boy who's just turned 1 was getting enough out of his food. It seemed a bit pricey at first but the portions are a really good size and have sometimes got 2 snacks or meals out of them. He has not liked 2 meals so far but he's loved others. Especially the banana pancakes and the white beans which I would never have thought to give him before.

I was elated to find a company that is allergen free and doesn’t have ‘May contains.’

Such a great idea. We try to batch cook and freeze food for our baby but often run out unexpectedly so it’s really handy to have some healthy ready made meals there to give him when we don’t have the time (or energy!) to cook from scratch. Our baby loved the pancakes and did really well with the finger foods considering he’d struggled with them before. We did have to mash/chop a couple of the meals as he was struggling with the texture and I added cheese to a couple for some extra protein. I love that the packaging is eco friendly. The company also offer free weaning coaching sessions - we had one and it was really helpful and reassuring to get answers to our questions. Customer service is excellent, I’ve dealt with a couple of people in the company and they’ve been so friendly and helpful. They also have a great referral system where you give new customers £10 off and get £20 off for your next purchase!

The idea is great, however our little one only loved the pasta dish, everything else was refused. Fair enough little ones need to have food offered on many occasions to get used to it/ like it, however for us it was meant as a one off back up and he is just not a fan of this type of food. When he is a bit older we might try again

I bought these meals as my little one has certain allergies and when life gets hectic it’s hard to quickly make up separate meals for him, toddlers are fussy so he didn’t like them all but what he didn’t eat I did and I really enjoyed them. I love the pancakes and brownies, bare in mind they’re made with healthy ingredients so don’t get expecting some sugary slab of brownie. These brownies are lovely and not full of rubbish so are a definite go to snack in our house.
We have ordered another box to try some of the other meals and looking forward to it arriving.
Delivery was great, we were sent a message the day before saying we would be given our 1 hour slot the following day which we were, so that was great as I could instruct them
To leave it in the shed where it’s shaded and cool. All meals were still frozen when we arrived home. Very happy 😃

The style and quality of the food is great but unfortunately my baby did not like nothing after so long of preserving he was not having it. If he had a preference he liked the sweeter meals. Baby weaning is trial and error and I do not regret trying mamamade, I’ll change our subscription to try and see if we get along with that one.

I really struggled juggling making healthy finger foods for my baby and working full time. This service is amazing my baby loves it as do I !

Honestly, have tried three different orders as really wanted to support this business as love the concept and thought maybe we were just unlucky but we’ve had choking hazards with very uncooked vegetables and pasta, hard fingers foods like cardboard (another choking hazard) and some very strange tasting foods (beetroot burgers) taste really horrid. My little one eats everything yet refuses these meals. The latest was a pasta dish and even I couldn’t bite through the pasta, really awful! So unsafe for little ones. Please improve your meals!

Absolutely loved the product and delivery process was super easy !

My baby only liked 2 out of 10 of these. The finger foods are awful - dry and cardboard-like as other reviewers have said. Same goes for the pancakes. Also, many of them don’t feel like proper meals - just some beans or chickpeas with a bit of chopped veg. Very healthy but not tasty! I added cheese to a few and that helped the flavour a bit. For now I will be sticking to Cook kids ready meals but I am on the look out for a new brand as I have a new baby on the way.
Whilst the product itself is not very good, the Instagram marketing campaign is impressive!

We ordered a selection of the finger foods - as described by another reviewer they were all very dry and cardboard-y - I would not reccomend.

Also far too much packaging - why are they all individually boxed and packaged portions rather than putting a couple of portions in each package (like a box of fish fingers for example) since they are frozen anyway?

Ordered a second box for my 9 month old because she loves all the meals! I enjoyed making similar meals for her from scratch for the first few months of weaning but now I’m back to work and don’t have as much time to cook. Mamamade meals allow me to feel guilt free feeding her delicious healthy meals without spending hours in the kitchen. I’m a fan!

There were a couple of the dishes we thought were nice, although our toddler didn't like them. The other ones that we were sent weren't that great, the porridge with spinach being particularly not pleasant and I'm not sure why you would put spinach in porridge, especially when you're trying to get fussy toddlers to eat it! The delivery was really poor too....the parcel (of frozen meals) was left outside my apartment block in the street!! A neighbour brought it up luckily. The delivery note had a time about an hour before the neighbour delivered it so it had been defrosting in the street for an hour!! I wrote to inform them of this and got no reply at all. Definitely would avoid this company.
