Mammoth Mattress Reviews 

We needed to change our 15yr old memory foam mattress as it was failing.
Went back to the shop we bought it but silent night no longer make that mattress. Looked around and saw the mammoth mattress and decided to give it a try. Took 4 weeks to arrive so I have been using it for about three months. I found it to be very comfortable and supportive of my back as I have issues with my neck.
I would recommend this mattress.

Well we had our old mattress for 15 years and we were really worried about changing it for a new one.
We need not have worried the Mammoth Mattress is excellent and we have both welcomed the change.

This is the first time we've ever bought a mattress and we weren't entirely sure what the options were versus what we wanted versus what we needed. Having looked around a few retailers (and carried out their various testing to point us in the right direction).
We weren't necessarily looking for a memory foam mattress, but having tried lots of other manufacturers we noticed a real difference with the Mammoth options.

It is without doubt the most comfortable mattress that I've ever slept on, and my sleep has definitely improved since it arrived (~3mths).

It wasn't the cheapest - but it also wasn't the most expensive by far! I'd happily spend the money on a Mammoth mattress again though.

Our mattress is like sleeping in a hotel!

Me & my husband are tall, heavy build athletes and we have been searching for a mattress for a long time that can support our body type and lifestyle.
We have finally found a heavenly mattress with Mammoth that support our back and whole body and it has been life-changing for us.
We wake up rested and our bodies no longer hurt as soon as we get out of bed in the morning.
The mattress was delivered after just 2 weeks even though we had been told it would be a 4 week delivery time. I would've happily waited 4 weeks but 2 weeks delivery was a bonus.
I have recommended this mattress to all our friends and I hope more people will discover it as it is the best night's sleep I have ever had, every night now, just awesome!

My new mammoth mattress is absolutely fantastic, it gives overall support and has resulted in the best nights sleep I've had in years.
I would normally wake up with a bad back finding it difficult to move, after purchasing the Mammoth mattress i just get up and go, Wonderful!

I have had my Mammoth Shine Essential Firmer mattress for a number of weeks now and can throughly recommend it.
For years I have had another more expensive brand ‘Tempur Cloud’ which was very heavy to move and I began getting more and more niggles with each passing week.
It was only following a break up that I needed a new bed and mattress so went to my local family run and trusted furniture store and was steered towards Mammoth as an alternative to ‘Tempur’.
So glad I took the chance, I’ve gone from waking up in the early hours with lower back pain, getting up and making a cup of tea, to not wanting to get out of bed and I actually look forward to going to bed every night as It’s so comfy and supportive!

We ordered Prestige Advanced 3000 6`0 2+2 Drawer Divan Set Plush Silver on 3/5/2021 which was delivered on 15/6/2021. I sleep on Lt side and My wife sleeps on Rt side. Both of us feel that we are sloping out of bed and the centre of bed seems to be higher. It does feel very uncomfortable to sleep on it and wake up with back pains, so we have reported to after service department at Furniture Village Store in Southampton on 25/6/21 over telephone and went in person on 25/6/21 to discuss with Kim Dodd-Sales Consultant who sold us this bed. Kim said he has reported the matter to Mammouth to visit my house and rectify the problem asap but we have not heard from them so far. I am a Medical Doctor and have never suffered from backache and find it very uncomfortable to sleep on this mattress, so I would ask respectfully to look into this situation urgently please.

Just bought my first Mammoth mattress and wow, it’s fabulous. I have honestly never slept better and no longer wake up with a sore hip. Love it. Thank you to TR Hayes of Bath for persuading me to buy the Mammoth.

Strangely after ordering our Mammoth Mattress, I then read some of the reviews, I know that's the wrong way around, and was slightly shocked to read so many negative reviews, however although we have only had our new bad and mattress for three week or so both my wife and myself do not have any complaints at all just the reverse in fact, we are both sleeping better and with ought any pain, which I used to get in my hips and knees, even the dog seams to like it better that old mattress, my only problem now is moving the dog from my side of the bed, but my only complaint is that there are a couple of small folds in the base material or the 4 stars would have been 5 stars.

so comfy as i and my partner have MSK problems and sleepless nights are thing of the past

Hi bought the mammoth extra firm shine mattress. We are very impressed with the level of comfort. And would defininately recommend it was a bit on the expensive side but we expect it to last for a few years. Better than some of cheaper brands out there. So thank you for your excellent product.

This is our second Mammoth Mattress.
Overall we are happy with it - it is comfortable, albeit having opted for the firm version already not as firm as I would perhaps have expected after only 6 months. But it does provide a good night's sleep which is the main purpose of a mattress.
A couple of less important points - it slides about on our wooden base (the last one didn't) and has less support at the sides (but then you should not sit on the edge anyway!).

The first perhaps didn't last as long as it should because we had not been told by the retailer of the need to turn it regularly. This time we are doing so every time we change the bedding.

Avoid at all costs!!! Having had a Mammoth Sport mattress for over 5 years, which has been very good, I bought a Kingsize Mammoth Shine Plus medium firmness from the Hull Branch of Barker and Stonehouse in Dec 2019 for just over £1000. After a few weeks of lower back pain it seemed that the mattress just wasn't giving me enough support. I contacted the store who sent out Homeserve technician to look at it. He decided it was fine despite me saying it wasn't supporting my weight. How a bit of string with a weight on each end can identify if the mattress is performing under tension beats me. I also contacted Mammoth who confirmed that it should support 2 x 40 stone people (I'm 13 stone). Mammoth sent a FIRA technician out who didn't even know what the mattress construction was like (foam and spring hybrid), who did the string test again and pressed on the mattress, then proceeded to say it was my fault for being a solo sleeper and sleeping in the middle of the bed, and not on 1 side of the bed that it isn't providing the support. Barker and Stonehouse refused a refund but offered an exchange for a further £200! I contacted the FHIO in the role of an ombudsman (but they have membership managers for the furniture companies they cover), who ruled in the retailers favour. I appealed after having an independent inspection, who said the mattress was faulty. A real lack of urgency from the FHIO, who required repeated chasing and didn't tell me when the person handling my case had left so no real desire to keep the customer informed (I only found out after sending FHIO customer services a chasing email). It took from August 2020 until late May 2021 for FHIO to finally encourage the retailer to refund me, despite having the independent inspection report since early January 2021. Lodging a formal internal complaint with the FHIO, and saying that I would go to small claims court to pursue the refund finally seemed to spur the FHIO and the retailer to sort out my refund. Mammoth and Barker and Stonehouse have now lost a customer for life. I now have an Emma mattress which is providing the required support, has a 200 night free trial and cost less than half of what the Mammoth Shine Plus costs!

Purchased a Mammoth Shine Advanced mattress in June 2019 after reading reviews and trying out in store. My husband and I both suffered from aches and interrupted sleep so presumed with our new Mammoth Shine that would alter considerably. Unfortunately it has now got so bad I have resorted to sleeping in an old bed with a topper on the cheap mattress. I have slept perfectly for the last 2 weeks with no aches or pains and my husband is still complaining that he did not like the mattress from the day it arrived. Considering the price of the mattress you expect better and as there is no trial period to try the mattress I would steer clear of purchasing another Mammoth.

I couldn't be happier with the customer service from this company! My first pillow from them got lost in transit. Before I had a chance to send them a message about it they had emailed me to check up on delivery. When I told them it hadn't arrived a new one was dispatched the next day!

I have received the pillow now and honestly its exactly what i had hoped it would be, had the best nights sleep in ages.

Fully recommend these guys, they know their stuff.
