As I owned a genuine...Gibson 54 Goldtop purchased in 1967...wrap around tailpiece and that fat chunky neck.... purchasing the Jeff Beck 54 Oxblood Les Paul was a no brainer..... Why....you ask....simple says me...that if you want the true neck of a 54...this is the only guitar I have seen and played with a correct spec neck of one. I had a 54 reissue goldtop in later times... and was never happy with the incorrect neck specs...so it went. Having owned a true genuine 54...I can tell you the Epiphone...inspired by Gibson Jeff Beck 54 Ox Blood Les Paul....is as close as it gets...truly accurate neck size. So if you want to play a guitar with those specs for a mere fraction of the price...this guitar is borderline Custom Shop quality....and I don't say that lightly.... A fantastic guitar.... superbly finished...fitted with Gibson custombuckers....and correct period frets....You can't go wrong. Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating
