Mantel Farm offers so much advice for me as a back garden chicken keeper, in addition to first class birds and good quality products.
They are always friendly and even offer brilliant courses which not only educate but have a good social element too.

Mantel Farm are a beacon standing out from the rest. Lovely people with deep knowledge of bee keeping, poultry keeping and no doubt many other animal husbandry. Also very COVID sensible.

I have been buying hens from Mantels Farm for 10 years and using their ‘chicken sitting’ service and been on a chicken owners course. I receive excellent customer service every time. I have also purchased many ancillary products as well. Jason is very approachable and takes the time to make sure all is well. I let slip at work that I really liked pigs, not just in a bacon sandwich with brown sauce on a Sunday morning I might add, so for my retirement present they bought me this intro to pig keeping course. What a day, fantastic insight, delivered by Ben who has a mountain of knowledge on the subject. I am now seriously researching in the hope of realising a dream. Thoroughly recommend this course to anyone that fancies the idea of keeping pigs.

Very helpful throughout our recent purchase of four point of lay Sussex hens. We were also pleased to see that Mantel Farm catered for all hen needs ranging from equipment, feed and birds.
We have kept chicken over the past 20 years and will look to exclusively support Mantle Farm in the future.

Overpriced, probably by 50%. The course notes were wrong - the teacher actually admitted he hadn't corrected them. It seemed the course was more a vehicle for the teacher's humorous personal anecdotes than an opportunity to convey information, which was all over the place with no lesson plan. Not professional and unclear because of his strong accent. Would have been better/cheaper/easier watching a youtube video on how to make mead. Very disappointing and has put us off Mantel Farm.

Very good company who sell great products, which work. I particularly can recommend their Nopex Formula for controlling those awful red spider mite that prey and , if untreated, will kill, chickens.

Mantel Farm is where we buy our feed and bedding for our rescue hens.....but they also do boarding!!

A week's holiday for us was a new experience for our girls, but they behaved impeckably (!) hopefully, and laid 10 eggs....

Their boarding facility is very well organised as we expected it would be. We will be using them again next year!!

We have a course on caring for chickens booked for 26th September,
although we have not yet visited Mantel Farm the information we have received
regarding the course etc has been extremely helpful & we are looking forward
to attending the course.

I recently ordered a gift voucher for a friend. Kerry at Mantle Farm was, as always, brilliantly responsive and went out of her way to help. Gift vouchers can be used towards any of the shop stock or towards courses so loads of things for the recipient to choose from 😊

Beautiful chickens, with everything you need to keep them. The most helpful people serving that really know their stuff! Couldn’t recommend more highly!
