Amazing service!!

Amazing service!!
I used this service for the first time to do cryotherapy treatment on my clients. I was surprised at how quick the report came through and the diagnosis. The information in the report was excellent and it’s given me confidence on what I am treating. Excited to use on future clients, so I can treat with ease and peace of mind. Would 100% recommend to any clinic that treats skin lesions 😊.

Everyone very professional and informative.

All the girls were happy and very pleasant, they answered all my questions and put me at ease.
I was a bit reluctant to go there, but when I arrived, they made me very welcome. The young lady I saw who did the consultation put me at ease and answered all my questions regarding the treatments there. I therefore will be returning to have treatments.

Outstanding example of technology saving lives

I noticed a mole on my neck had changed colour. A friend told me about MapMyMole. After submission of pictures, I was advised that the mole needed further investigating- long story short- It was a melanoma and has subsequently been removed.
Had it not been for the App, I would possibly have postponed going to the GP for a long time, which in this case could have been fatal.

You will need help with taking pictures if your issue is on the back of your body, but on the whole it’s easy to use the kit and the App. A truly outstanding service.

Side note: the ‘life jacket’ sun cream samples that come with the kit are not very nice- really greasy.

Excellent!!! I phoned the practise and there was an appointment available the next day. At the appointment we discussed which moles needed attention. I received the results the same day. The reports were detailed and advice clear. Highly recommend.

Waste of NHS money

I was asked to download the app as a trial from my doctors. I feel like this is another service of the NHS being privatised by the back door. I was at my GPs anyway for another appointment. The results from map my mole were inconclusive so after waiting for the lens then waiting for results I had to book an appointment and go back to GP anyway. Luckily my mole is fine but that was two weeks wasted and a fee paid by the NHS for a service that could have been carried out in two minutes by my GP
The lens came quickly. It was fiddly getting a good photo and luckily mole is on top of my foot. I live alone, if it was anywhere else I would have struggled to take the pictures. The results came back within a week and the report was easy to understand.

We also understand how frustrating delays can be; however, in this case, the waiting time was due to appointment scheduling at your GP practice, not our side. We always aim to return results within a few hours of receiving clear images.

We appreciate your point about image capture being difficult if living alone. That’s valuable feedback we’re using to improve both guidance and support within the app.
