Marcus has not only repaired a bike for me but recently sold on my behalf a much loved ladies road bike. I had been reluctant to sell but was no longer riding it with my cycling time spent on my mountain bike. Marcus was reassuring, personable and the whole process effortless. I was paid extremely promptly. He is sincere and I felt in good hands. Marcus has a quick sale turnaround and the bike sold only a few days after he took hold of it to a happy new lady owner. Any buyer of his quality used bikes can be reassured they leave him in excellent condition and also mechanically. He is a refreshing asset to London’s increasing bike enthusiasts & cycling community & culture with his own passion and the independent service he provides. Highly recommend.

I recently sold my Brompton bike to Marcus Bikes.
Marcus was professional, knowledgeable and saved me a lot of hassle trying to find a buyer for my bike individually.

The whole experience of selling 2 Brompton bikes to Marcus was really easy! He is a delight to deal with and we were very happy with the whole process. Would highly recommend.

Firstly, it was really easy to deal with Marcus. He replies all his email daily and answered all my questions. Secondly, payment was also seamlessly easy. Thirdly, he delivered the bike to my hotel on time. Send pics of the delivery and concluded the deal. Lastly, can you guys even see the conduction of the bike? Immaculate condition!

Last point could be the most worrying 😅 I fly all the way to London, pays him in full and then hope the bike comes out as good as the IG post. And he fully delivered every bit of it. Marcus bikes are sold in very good conditions. When I unfolded the bike, I could hardly even tell it’s a used bike.

It’s a pity I didn’t get to meet Marcus but for those of you reading this review and you are thinking of doing what I did, do so in confident. Without a doubt, I’m certain Marcus will deliver on his promises.

Absolutely amazing! Thank you Marcus, I was able to get my first road bike without having to wait for weeks in standard shops. I was very lucky to find Marcus. Very knowledgeable, great service, flexible... 5 stars!! I also know I can go back to him if I have any issues with the bike and he gave great recommendations on insurance too (Laka) to protect my bike even further! Very happy!

Fast & Efficient (Selling)

Marcus gave me a good quotation (already had 2no other quotations from well known companies) and Marcus' quote was better. Fairly good communications all round and the selling process on the day was good and efficient. Very knowledgeable and would definitely use him again / recommend him to others.

I found Marcus' shop through an Instagram advert and was impressed by the range and price of bikes the shop had. Marcus was super informative and helpful and the buying process was easy. The warranty offered by the shop is a great piece of mind as well and the bike was well serviced when I picked it up.

I came across an advert on Instagram when I was looking to sell my bike and I thought I'd contact them, the experience couldn't haven't been easier. We messaged through WhatsApp & I was asked to send various pics of the bike and a price was agreed, a deposit was sent through and when Marcus picked up the bike he paid the remaining balance (alternately you can drop the bike off to him). The overall process was very easy, highly recommended.

I found Marcus's bikes on Gumtree. Contacted Marcus about the purchase of 2 used Brompton bikes. Marcus was extremely helpful and I tried out the 2 bikes (one for me the other for the wife) the following day. The bikes were in excellent condition and the price was good for the condition. Bought the bikes on the spot and thanks to the wonder of modern day banking was able to send payment to Marcus's business account on the spot. Used the bikes for a recent holiday and they are absolutely superb. Never ridden a Brompton before but done a considerable amount of cycling on my Enigma bike. Really impressed with the gearing of the Brompton's (6 speed). Would thoroughly recommend Marcus's bikes specifically and Brompton bikes in general. Buy with confidence from Marcus's bikes. I would use again if the need arose or I simply fancied a change.
