I have suffered from dreadful toe nails for years! Medicine has been totally ineffective. When I saw this little device I had to give it a go. Open toe sandals could be possible again? Time will tell and I must be patient so hopefully I can give a fifth star in a few months time.🤞🏻

The strap snapped after only one use . Contacted customer service who sent me a label to return the device . This was out of date ,when I tried to post it . Then they organised a pick up date for the parcel without discussing with me first . Very poor customer service and don’t respond to emails quickly . I can’t comment on the effectiveness of the device as I only used it one day .

Too soon to make a clear judgment as it needs time to work. Like many people I also had problems with the switch but found that after switching on a light tap made the timer start.

Great idea and design, very awkward to get the timer going, sometimes works straight away, other times doesn't work at all. Bit of a pain really.

Dear Laurence, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’ve found the timer function inconsistent – To activate your device, please follow the steps below:

Ensure the device is fully charged and that the screen is clean and dry.
Press and hold the power button for 2–3 seconds, or until the 3-minute lights appear.
Once the lights are on, press the power button lightly again — this will activate the lights and start the treatment.

If the device does not respond, it may need a reset:

Press and hold the power button continuously for 10–20 seconds until the lights turn off. This acts as a hard reset.
Once complete, repeat the activation steps above.

If you're still experiencing issues, it would be really helpful if you could film what is happening so we can better understand the problem and assist you further.

I am still using this laser device my only criticism is that the strap is quite short my partner has a size 12 shoe and large big toe I just hope that strap does not snap.

Does not work nail worse after 6 weeks. Asked for a refund but Customer service responded saying it takes time, which is not what sales pitch says. Better off saving your£95.00 and letting the fungal nail grow out!

To clarify for others reading, our LED Nail Fungal Device is designed to work over time by targeting the fungal infection at its root and supporting the healthy regrowth of the nail. As we’ve explained directly, this is not always a quick-fix solution. Visible improvement requires consistent daily use and allowing the new nail to grow through, which can take several months depending on the severity and individual response.

We have reviewed the images you provided, and they do show clear improvement, which suggests the device is working exactly as intended. While results may vary, the changes you’re seeing are typical at this stage of the treatment process. It’s therefore disappointing to receive this review, especially as our team has offered ongoing support and suggested additional products to help enhance and speed up results where possible.

As previously explained, and in line with our terms and conditions, we are unable to offer a refund for this product for two key reasons:

It is actively working and showing progress.

For hygiene and safety reasons, used medical devices of this nature cannot be returned.

We stand behind the quality and efficacy of our products. As part of your ongoing treatment journey, our team has recommended complementary solutions such as the Fungal Nail Treatment Kit and Nourishing Nail & Cuticle Serum Pen to give you the very best chance of success.

I have been using this for a few weeks and see an improvement in my nail. Only issue is sometimes the start button does not work after several compressions, this may be due to the light requiring recharged?

Have used this for 2 weeks now so too early to determine if it will be fully effective. Maybe some improvement in my big toenail. Although it powers up easily, getting the laser started can be instant or can take numerous presses, so this is annoying.

Regarding activation, the laser is touch-sensitive and can be turned on by holding the on button or 2-3 seconds and then a light tap on the same button to activate the treatment. Item arrived and was small as expected but also seemed quite cheap and plasticky. Unfortunately I made the wrong decision to use it rather than send it straight back. It’s very difficult to switch on, generally taking numerous attempts. Often whilst trying to turn on it would shut down completely. I did send several messages to Margaret Dabbs through their messaging service but no help or reply. A waste of money as far as I am concerned.

I’ve looked through all our systems and can see one message from you, which received an instant reply from our team. It may be worth checking your spam or junk folder in case our response was diverted there, we would hate for you to feel unsupported.

The Nail Fungus Laser Device is CE certified and clinically designed to target infections over a 4 to 8 week cycle, but from what you’ve described, it sounds like your unit may not be functioning as it should.

To troubleshoot:

Please ensure the device is fully charged and the screen is clean and dry.
Press and hold the power button for 2–3 seconds until the screen lights up.
Then tap the power button again once to begin treatment.
If the device doesn’t respond, a hard reset may be required:
Hold down the power button for 2–3 seconds until it turns on.
Then continue holding it until the screen switches off. This will reset the unit fully.

Once reset, please repeat the steps above and the device should function correctly. If you’re still having trouble, please email us at office@margaretdabbs.co.uk and we’ll be happy to assist further or arrange a replacement if needed.

I've been using this daily for about a week. It's easy to use, although a bit fiddly to fit on my badly misshapen toes. However, I am getting on all right with it. It's too soon I think to see any improvement in my nails but I'm very hopeful of a good outcome so I will carry on. I gave it 4 stars for this reason. When it has done it's job, I'll upgrade my review.
