2024 Marin Alpine Trail Carbon 1
2024 Marin Alpine Trail Carbon 1. Bought almost exclusively for the frame. A few notes, i had a new set of carbon cranks (RF 175s) and I'm sure I hit every obstacle on the trail, ordered up a set of 165s and that sorted it out, I'd like to go down another 5mm to 160s. Not sure why I strike so much on this bike, it's similar to my other bikes current and past. The geo is fun, I'm 5'11" and all that was in stock was a Lrg, I'm wishing I'd have held out for the XL as that'd lengthen it out a little bit more for the extremes (up & down). But it holds it's own alright. The bent seat post limits the length of dropper post you can use, so i'm not able to get the seat as far down out of the way as I'd like, if I could slam it right down, that'd help the downhills significantly. Relatively light, but sizing feels smaller than I'd like. I'm eyeing up an XL to swap out, but that's a chunk of money I'm not sure I want to spend.

Since buying a Main bike in late 2023, I've been emailing a support tech there nicknamed "Gravy" and the guy is a godsend: super fast communication for all of my questions for various problems from me smashing stuff to basic or upgraded replacements. The support has been phenomenal and far beyond what any other brand has provided - I'll easily buy another Marin when I destroy this one or if budget allows - sooner

Wish I could say good things about m bobcat trail 5
Wish I could say good things about my experience buying a bobcat trail 5 bike. I got it only 3 months ago.Unfortunately I've had nothing but issue after issues with it. It's spent more time in the bike shop getting fixed then I have used it. I have emailed Marin directly 3 times and never here back from them. Shame as they used to be great solid bike back in the 90s.

You had the part I needed to get my Polygon Xtrda six back on the trail. Bikes Online did NOT have the part.
Your derailleur hanger 3 works as a substitute. It is not exactly the same but works with backing the B limit screw all the way out.
