We've had mixed experiences with different builders over the years during house renovation and building projects.

I am very happy to say that 'Maris House and Garden' has by far, been the most positive experience. We have used Adam and his team services now for 2 most recent renovation projects.

Apart from the competetive pricing, trustworthiness and hard working ethic, the difference with Adam and his guys are they are communicative, honest, friendly and importantly, take the time to clarify requirements and decisions rather than assume what you want and risk dissappointment.

It's always disruptive to have builders in your home for any length of time, particularly when you have very reactive and nervous dogs! In all honesty, Adam and his workers made this as stress free as possible. We actually missed the team being here every day when they completed the works!

On balance, the work took a little longer to complete than anticipated but that's largely due to us changing requirements and asking for additional works.

Sincerely, trust, cost and quality of work above all, mean Adam will be our 'go to' contact for any future building, gardening or renovation work. Very highly recommended.

Adam and his team installed our new Wren Kitchen along with some additional work to lay new flooring, do all the plumbing and electrics. The communication from Adam from beginning to end was excellent. There was no question that went unanswered and I had many! The team worked so hard. Always on time and worked long hours to ensure the job was done as quickly as it could be. The kitchen looks superb. And much of this is down to the care and precision Adam's team put into everything. So easy to have in the house at what can be a disruptive time. Highly recommend them and would definitely use them again for any other work. Are they the cheapest you'll find? No. But if you want a job done to the highest of standards then I think it's worth it. A kitchen is something you have to live with for years to come. And a high quality fitting makes all the difference.

We were assigned this company as one of Wren's approved fitters. The initial contact was good as Adam promptly came to visit our house. However, the estimate for specialist works was unreasonable. As an example, the cost to disconnect and reconnect our range cooker to the same location to allow for the kitchen fitting was quoted as £685+VAT. As context, it cost £90 to have it fitted (and a previous one disconnected/removed) initially, and 2 other gas engineers said to disconnect it would be a very quick job (quoting £60-£80). There was no room for discussion possible, and Adam then stopped communicating, not answering my calls or emails. I have just found out through Wren that his team will not be installing our kitchen on Monday as I was led to believe. This is awful service and really disruptive.

How often do you get a new kitchen? Probably not that often!

After several months of going back and forth at Wren, humming and haaaing, designing and re-designing, we finally took the plunge and placed our order. Initially, we planned to use Wren's own installers for a one-stop-shop experience, but after receiving a personal recommendation for Adam’s team, we decided to go with them instead—and we’re so glad we did.
If we were to do it all again, Wren would still be our choice for the design and supply, and Team Adam would absolutely handle the installation.

Being fairly handy with DIY, I took on the removal, some basic plumbing, and the prep work to ensure Team Adam had a "dry install"—which, in theory, should make things easier. But as we all know, the world isn’t perfect, and challenges always arise. What impressed me most was how Team Adam tackled those challenges, making on-the-fly tweaks to ensure everything was just right. The result? A flawless installation.

Their communication and adherence to deadlines were also spot on. We were kept informed every step of the way, and they hit the crucial first milestone: being ready for the worktop templating team. From there, the pressure eased, and Wren delivered on their end, proving to be efficient, timely, and surprisingly good throughout.

What sets Team Adam apart is their professionalism; they’ll show up on time, work very had, drink gallons of coffee, devour any biscuits or cake you offer, adore your pets, and—most importantly—clean up at the end of each day.
And the final result? A fantastic kitchen installed with care and precision. We couldn’t be happier.

From start to finish Adam and his team have been very professional, extremely polite and very understanding, as installing a new kitchen can be stressful for homeowners, however Adam's team were brilliant, their work is of the highest standard, and they took time to check with us to ensure we were completely happy at all stages of the instalment. Adam provided us with detailed quotes and always answered any questions promptly. We would highly recommend and will use again for other projects we have planned.

We were totally delighted with Adam and his team's work. It was a particularly tricky redecoration including sorting out some long standing damp damage. There was an issue that popped up a little while after the work was finished and Adam arranged for it to be fixed right away. We're very happy customers :)

We've worked with Adam before on various projects in our house and it's always an absolute pleasure - nothing is too much trouble, any problems that do come up (which is rare!) are solved and his team work really hard. We have used Adam and the team several times over the last few years to complete internal and external painting along with various repair jobs. Adam is always very responsive to messages, reliable and easy to deal with and work completed to a good standard.

Adam and his brother did a great job renewing a chipboard floor that was springy and water damaged. Works were discussed in detail and I was impressed by Adam's pragmatic approach which ensured the least damage to my carpet, and the written quote was detailed and a very fair price. The floor is now nice and firm. I have used Adam for previous jobs and will continue to hire him again. Highly recommended.

Cannot rate this company highly enough... recently used them for kitchen and bathroom renovation work. They did a fantastic job...very professional, reliable, efficient and carried out the work to a very high standard.
