Sadly a very poor experience (if you can call it scam is a different story but not far off)
Bought a painting for £9000,- already very pushy at sales process etc, which i should have realised that this is not going well
After the sale just more pushing to buy more , luckily i didn’t . Got quite ridiculous on phone calls with pushing to buy more even blaming the artist of my painting that the value hasn’t increased
Got promised big pay out from royalties from print sales , NOT A SINGLE PRINT EVER SOLD !!!!
On request to refund and buy back the painting at the cost price ( no increase in value) i got laughed at and never a reply to emails etc
Definitely don’t deal with Marks Art there are very good and reputable galleries around
Sadly i will never see a refund from them , but hopefully no one else will buy from them

Let me save you the trouble: DO NOT, under any circumstances, engage with Marks Art. This so-called company is nothing more than a den of deception and incompetence. If you're considering doing business with them, stop right now and spare yourself the agony and frustration that I've had to endure.

My ordeal with Marks Art began in early August when I decided to purchase an art piece from them. Foolishly, I handed over a huge settlement totally nearly 10k. Little did I know that this would be the start of a nightmare.

The art piece I received was not what I had paid for, and to add insult to injury, the details of the purchase were mysteriously incorrect in my portfolio, which conveniently, I no longer have access to. When I attempted to reach out to Marks Art to rectify this egregious error, my calls were met with deafening silence. It became abundantly clear that this company had no intention of honoring their end of the deal.

After weeks of relentless pursuit, I finally managed to get in touch with someone claiming to be the director of Marks Art on the 25th of August '23. In a pathetic attempt to save face, this individual begrudgingly acknowledged the company's incompetence and promised to correct their mistakes. They even went as far as to issue a laughable "promise note" assuring me that if they failed to deliver on their commitments within three months, I would be entitled to a full refund.

Needless to say, this promise turned out to be as empty as the integrity of this sham of a company. Despite their assurances, I never received access to the promised portal to view my portfolio, nor did I receive any hard copies of documentation related to my purchase.

But the cherry on top of this colossal mess? The despicable behavior of the company Director, Mark, the supposed mastermind behind Marks Art. This conniving con artist not only swindled me out of my hard-earned money but also robbed me of my trust in humanity.

Save yourself the agony and avoid Marks Art like the plague. The Director and his band of deceivers are nothing more than charlatans preying on unsuspecting victims. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere before you become their next target.

I am very pleased with my first investment with marks art. It was a very educational experience for me into the art world. I also made a little profit within my first year. Thank you for the opportunity, to Mark and the team.

I very rarely write reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by this fabulous gallery. The art advisors were especially helpful in finding me some lovely pieces and prints to add to my collection.

The experience I’ve had with marks art has been wonderful, every member of staff has been honest, open and kind with me from the very start and we’ve managed to build a great relationship over the last year. It’s been a great pleasure being selected to become a client at the marks art gallery.

This is a common case of a good old cold calling center where these vultures seem to think it's ok to call people up and convince them to hand over money, the "art work" these people are trying to sell are ridiculously low quality and just look copy and pasted. Stay well away!

Have somehow ended up on this company's cold call list and getting some serious scammer vibes! I have asked them to remove me multiple times and blocked their number, but I just get a call a week later from a different number. Frankly, I doubt a serious and legitimate investment company would be quite this desperate to contact me...red flag for sure!

Absolutely in love with Marks art , have invested couple of times with them first three years ago with couple paintings that made me tasty income past year or so , and invested again just now with absolute trust and passion . Absolutely recommend it to art lovers and people who want to experience joyful returns .

Easy buying process and incredible staff throughout!

I have have just come on board with Marks-Art with Mr Lamar Ford, I can say this was very professional informative and very easy to understand. Mr Ford walked me through step by step on the investment side of art but also his passion for the best pieces for my portfolio is really next to none.
I strongly recommend if you are considering investing in art Marks-Art is your go to.

Whilst making a sales pitch to me over the phone they said they also had Richard Hamilton images for sale. On checking their site it's Richard HAMBLETON...!!!!! Also tried to make a pressured sale, offering discounts which ended at midnight that day...and a further call imploring me to amend my initial post, which I have now done.
