Abysmal customer service

Ongoing dispute with fixing a defective Hoverboard. Not compliant with consumer laws. Not easy to deal with. NOT an Irish company despite the misleading name. Only one service partner in all of Ireland. Do not have a reasonable response time and are unwilling to fix the issue unless they have an easy fix. Significant time spend to fix the problem.

AVOID.

AVOID
Ordered last week. Arrived yesterday. Its a Xmas present, but thankfully I opened it. A french charger in the box, along with French instructions, only. Great, except I live in Ireland.
When contacted and told this morning the charger and instructions were incorrect I got sent the instructions on email and this regarding the charger

Do not buy from this company

It’s bad enough that this company sells defective/poor quality hoverboards, but what’s worse is that the victims are often children, like my daughter on Christmas morning! I sent 2 different emails and both times got the same copy and paste reply looking for a video to be uploaded to YouTube. Then I was given an address in a housing estate in Naas to send the hoverboard. They repaired it, but would not release it until I paid €35 upfront (so much for ‘under warranty’) and it lasted 2 weeks before stopping again. So disappointing that a company like this can be first in the list when you search ‘Hoverboard’ and allowed to operate in this way without impunity. Please do not be tempted to buy anything from this scam operation.

Last November I ordered 2 Kugoo…

Last November I ordered 2 Kugoo electric scooters took a while to come and I had to contact them to see what had happened with my order. 3 months after getting them one of the scooters stopped working and I contacted marsboard where I purchased them to see where I could get it looked at. They asked for a video of the scooter to assess what the problem was and I uploaded it on Youtube as directed by them. I have to date heard nothing back after my numerous emails. The Scooter was under warranty but no address as to where to send it back for return, just a return policy. I am very disappointed in the service and lack of help provided, as each scooter was €349.

AVOID - Scammers.....terrible experience

Terrible experience......AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We purchased hoverboard (from what we thought was an Irish company) - arrived promptly, looked great....it arrived with a kart which broke after a day.....after 2 days resulting in my son hurting himself. 3 days after hoverboard arrived the charger didn't work so couldn't use it. Disaster trying to get any satisfaction from company (no address/phone no and not based in Ireland) - after numerous frustrating weeks back and over by email, we complained to bank and they were able to get our money refunded. A total SCAM and can't understand how their website can be still live with all these bad reviews....surely some law can have it taken down.....DO NOT BUY FROM MARSBOARD

Hoverboard broke after 1 month

Hoverboard broke after 1 month. Bought in Nov 2020 for Christmas present. Contacted them and gave them all the information they required. Heard nothing back and they have ignored all my other emails. It’s too late for a PayPal dispute. DO NOT BUY. They are scammers

I wish I could add this to their…

I wish I could add this to their website to stop other people buying of these crooks. Like everyone hoverboard didn’t last. Charged for 24 hours before use and only went 10 minutes. Charged again for 24 hours light green still 10 minute play time. Then charger went on fire on us. Lucky it was out in the garage and damage contained. Asked for a replacement battery and charger and same Wimbledon backward and forwards emails. I am now in the process of reporting them to get them investigated.

This company is an absolute ####### joke do not buy anything my hoverboard broke after 2 weeks using it . Trying to get help from them is awful useless isnt the word PLEASE DO NOT BUY they ask the same question every single email SCAMMERS

Please do not buy from this company

Please do not buy from this company. Really poor customer service.
Hoverboard broke after 1 week. Sent multiple emails to try and get it fixed (there is no phone number to speak to someone). They constantly ask me to send videos which I have. After 4 weeks they still have not organised a repair or refund. So frustrating to deal with.

DO NOT BUY FROM HOVERBOARD IRELAND , MARSBOARD

Tried about 10 times to.email this company and got absolutely no reply. Horrendous customer service (non existant) , not Irish, no local support, scammers, criminals, crooks, thiefs, con artists, shams, liars, false advertising.

Horrendous

Horrendous! We bought 1 board, it broke replaced it with board 2, Board 2 is a piece of scrap. It worked for 1 test run. I've been negotiating for 3 months and keep get patronising messages saying "don't worry we'll refund you". Its been 3 months and we exchange emails 2/3 times per week. I have engaged a solicitor to take up the refund as it's a matter of principle and the gardaí to investigate this company. AVOID MARSBOARD at all costs.

Do not buy from this site, they sell faulty hoverboards.

Do not buy from this site. I bought 2 hoverboards in April at a total cost of €390. Within a week one had stopped working completely and the lights on the other stopped working. After several emails back and forth it became clear that I had been scammed and would get no resolution to this issue. I applied for a chargeback on my card but that is a laborious and slow process with a time limit of 120 days from the transaction date. Thankfully I received my money back through the chargeback and would advise anyone who has purchased faulty boards from this site to immediately apply for a chargeback from their bank.

Stay away from marsboard they sold me a faulty hoverboard and would not fix it and when I eventually agreed to send it back for a replacement that I was promised.. they sent me an address of another lady who ordered one from them absolute SCAMMERS...AVOID AT ALL COST...
