Beautiful well equipped cottage in the heart of the village with the added bonus of parking. I booked the property with friends that were down for the weekend .The property is well maintained and was spotlessly clean. When we arrived the heating had been put on and we were able to have a much needed cup of tea before venturing out.Will definitely stay again!

Filthy cottage (Francis Cottage, Woolacombe) at height of Omicron. Spent over 4 hours cleaning "key areas". Used property minimally until secured alternative accommodation. Ruined our Christmas. Lowlights - cotton bud on kitchen floor, food remains on hob and in cutlery drawers, bath plugholes blocked with hair, etc. Hairs in bedding, torn bedding, torn and mouldy curtains, black mould on all windows and frames - the list is endless and the photos worse. Shocking response from Marsdens who only refunded the nights we didn't stay and only after a lot of chasing and evidence-provision from us. I'd have rated them zero stars if I could!

We are long term users of Marsdens and were saddened when we tried to book our two week holiday for this year (2022) in December to be told that the deposit would be £700. Coming out of lockdown and working for the NHS we were unable to afford so gave up. We then found that the price had been dropped to £100 but we were unaware so lost our property. Totally gutted.

Staying in Bamboo, a cottage in Croyde and it is a fantastic cottage in a perfect location. Befitting of the word luxury I have nothing but praise for Michelle and her cottage. My dog and I had the greatest week here. 10 minute walk from Croyde Bay which is easy to get to with the directions left. Less than a 5 minute drive from Saunton Sands which goes for miles. The cottage and the area itself were all very clean. Inside the cottage the facilities are world class, powerful shower and the cottage is extremely well insulated. Only negative was I only booked it for a week. I will use definitely book here again without doubt

Between 21st and 28th of dec we rented Prospect cottage in Lynmouth. On arrival we knew we could only park to unload. No problems there. But unfortunately we werent informed of the steep access to the house. Security lights were not placed at the relevant uneven and slippery steps. The house was dark and freezing downstairs. No logs to start a fire. Infact no domestic things left like fairy liquid. No info left to say where we could buy logs or groceries. I actually slipped over on the cottage path. No broom to clean off leaves and garden covered in twigs. Main gate was very old and not able to shut it well. If you have children or are over 60 id avoid this cottage.

Small but perfectly formed. Charming cottage and SO cosy for the winter months.

It was an amazing experience and my partner and I loved every minute of it. The lodge was very well done up and modern and the hot tub was definitely a bonus. The owners are lovely and very polite. We will definitely be returning in the summer!

Overall a good experience booking with Marsdens for our fairly last minute booking. I called them and left a message and received an email with a link to the online booking. I was sent instructions and asked to call the owners closer to the travel day - and I received a text reminder. The holiday home was in a great location close to the beach and local pubs and all dog friendly. All very helpful, thanks.

Horizons is in a fantastic location with amazing views over the harbour and beyond. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Despite being on the 3rd floor, the only time we felt it was a bit of a climb was when we took our luggage up. This is the second time we have stayed here and look forward to doing so again.

This is a good wee property and superbly located to the beach. It is quite basic and with COVID restrictions, also only has the bare essentials which are fine and enough - but just keep this in mind when booking. The biggest issue for us is that this property doesn't have an outside tap which makes it very difficult to wash surf equipment (wetsuits especially) and to wash off Sandy feet. Which is a shame as it's so close to the beach.

Fantastic holiday property (Coco Beach)! No expense spared. Wonderful final touches with the fresh flowers and complimentary condiments. Coco Beach was a dream!

The location and overall feel are excellent. But it is no big enough with enough seating for
More than3 people, with the 3 of us and 2 dogs it was a little cramped.
The sofa needs updating to accommodate all humans. The TV also could do with remounting and enlarging.

Lovely clean and spacious cottage. Bed linen and towels felt new and fresh. Lots of handy extras in the cupboards eg salt, vinegar, bin bags, washing capsules. Washing line outside or airer inside for drying clothes. The owners seem to have thought of everything! Secure back garden for the dog. Parking outside very tricky if like us you have a big car but space could always be found on a neighbouring street. Highly recommend and would love to return.

What a fab place to spend the week away from family. The accommodation was super and had everything we needed as well as amazing views. The teenagers enjoyed the den!

This is a very well appointed house for 6 people, with plenty space to socialise together, and spend time apart.
It’s also in a fantastic location to tour Devon.

Lovely new house, very bright and airy, with great views over golf course leading to the sea in the distance, (which is walkable).
Very well equipped.
