Appalling quality

I bought Major II and Major III headphones in the span of 2 years. They looked and sounded great for about a period of 6 months and then they started falling apart. The faux leather of the crown and muffs starts to desintegrate and the flakes stick to your clothes, skin and hair. I wasn’t expecting them to last me for life based on the price but at least 3 to 4 years, it’s really a shame as I don’t like the design of other brands but They’re not worth buying.

Be cautious …

I think Marshall brand's decline in quality.
I purchased the Marshall Major second generation, 4 years ago expecting a reliable product, i only used them 10-14 times. Yesterday i wanted to use them and what i saw was like a thriller. The headphones was disintegrated. The plastic was over the place like they had a mini explotion..They were stored in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and moisture, yet they still failed miserably. This lack of durability is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the company's commitment to quality. I consider alternative brands that prioritize customer satisfaction. Don't let the Marshall brand's reputation fool you - their products may be a shadow of their former selves. It's time to hold companies accountable for their actions and make informed purchasing decisions. **Buy with caution, and don't be afraid to speak out against subpar products.**

I was pleasantly surprised when the manufacturer customer service contacted me about the damaged pair of headphones. After sharing photos of the issue, they provided a detailed explanation of the problem and informed me that the part was no longer in production.

Rather than leaving me high and dry, they offered to replace the damaged headphones with a brand new model, citing their commitment to customer satisfaction.
I was impressed by their customer-centric approach and decided to reorder a new product from them as a gesture of goodwill.

The experience reinforced my trust in the brand, and I'm now introducing my son to the same level of quality and service with a new Marshall Emberton III Cream purchase.

Totally failed delivery and costumer experience

I bought a pair of MONITOR II A.N.C. BLACK, and paid at the checkout. They were shipped (or so I believe anyway) quickly from Marshall but got lost in delivery (seems to be a recurring problem after reading here). I myself have contacted UPS for answers without success (Investigation open but no answers on status), and Marshall customer support does not answer my emails, or help in the matter.
The 1st email they answered , but after that no answer to my two follow up emails.

According to Marshall they aim to respond within 24 hours, it has now been 7 days without an answer or solution. they totally failed at set target.

If you absolutely want to buy Marshall products, buy them through a dealer you trust. Marshall themselves don't seem to care about their customers.

Pay attention, Marshall is not the old brand you know anymore

Do you remember Marshall amplifiers lasting 20 or 30 years? Well forget them ... in my experience, Marshall is now a low-quality consumer electronics firm producing headphones with the same quality as what you can find for about ten pounds on Temu: my Marshall headphones just after the warranty started to deteriorate the cushions and the wires coating until becoming unusable even though the headphones and electronics were working perfectly... like an old Chinese toy. NEVER BUY AGAIN.

Stockwell speakers decide to become non-compatible.

Have had a Marshall Stockwell II speaker since 3+ years. The thing worked ok. And then it didn't. Bluetooth connected with my Macbook air and my iphones. Then in the past 6 months, this speaker has suddenly become not compatible with my computer and iphones. Had I known that this device would give my devices the boot, I would have chosen another brand.

Just awful customer service

Just awful customer service. After 3 weeks where the speaker I ordered never arrived, I had to contact them to find out where it was. They opened an investigation and found it had been lost. They asked if I wanted a replacement or a refund and I asked for an urgent replacement as it was for a Christmas present. On Boxing Day they replied to notify me that they were ‘pleased to let me know a refund had been processed’ and ‘have a nice day’.

I had to then reply again to find out why a refund had been processed instead of what I’d asked for and they said it was now out of stock.

The issue isn’t just that it took nearly a month to resolve (I ordered on 29th November), it’s that they use automated responses which lack empathy and never fully responded to the emails I had sent which forced me to write more emails.

They are also massively missing a trick. With other companies, they may have come back to me to say ‘this one is out of stock but we have the other colour or you can have the newer model that we’ll take 20% off because of your experience’ etc. but instead, by just sending a refund they’ve missed out on revenues/cash this time and now I’m never going to purchase from them again. Odd.

First Class Service....So Far!

Considering Marshall as a top leading brand, I would have expected my Stanmore II bluetooth speaker to last more than 18 months!. As mentioned in other posts, 3 lights appear, no power, dead as they come and attempting a reset achieves nothing.
HOWEVER, despite having purchased this via Amazon, it transpires it comes with a 2 year warranty. Marshall to their credit have accepted the warranty and replacing my speaker with a Stanmore III, free of charge. The product is yet to arrive, however, to date, give credit where it's due.
Will update this post when the product arrives to ensure Marshall maintain the 5 star review.

They'll take your money and not send your parts.

I contacted marshall.com to buy some parts for my 1960A top cabinet. I just figured they were reputable, I've been using Marshall amps for over 30 years. A gentleman named Samuel was emailing me back and forth almost all morning, pretty much promising me everything that I needed. Everything I needed came up to a little bit below a hundred bucks which was very doable, a great deal actually. He told me that they weren't sending out any more orders in 2024 and they would start shipping again in 2025, that was the first red flag. I am a business owner and I know there's no reason for that. I decided to look at the reviews after he kept hitting me up about paying for the parts as soon as possible, no invoice just pay through the email. Their reviews are abysmal, they take the money and never send the parts/amp/ whatever they order. And the people that do get their parts usually don't get what they ordered or they're not acceptable. There in England they say, so there's no recourse unless you buy through PayPal or something guaranteed, which they will not accept payment. I noticed they always have some rebuttal with every bad review, don't even try it buddy! Regardless if you have a couple happy customers, y'all are scammers. I wonder how many tens of thousands of dollars they've stolen from customers? What are we going to do fly over there and sue him? No we're just going to be out our money and then never receive anything. Buy off eBay or Amazon, at least you're guaranteed to get your money back if they bend you over like these guys want to. Fake promises 0 resolutions

I ordered the latest version of the headphone and it arrived with a sewing defect. I contacted them and there is no solution yet. The customer service is very bad. They promised me to solve my problem and that the supervisor will contact me and send you an email, but until now there is nothing. I do not advise you to buy from them and they lie about the warranty. Customers service keep telling me check your i will send you an email and there’s nothing unbelievable for big name as Marshall

We'd like to discuss this further and look into your claims, however, without a name or case number, it is impossible to do so. We have located one case with a claim of a sewing defect, but there is in fact no defect in the product: only the seam of where the material wraps around the headband.

All Marshall products come with a warranty that is in-line with local Consumer Laws. If you purchased from marshall.com, the product will have a 2-year warranty. Note, the warranty covers manufacturing defects only: if there is no defect in the product, it won't be exchanged as a new product will likely be the exact same.

MARSHALL.COM poor service initially-Redeemed with great customer relations afterwards

Edited from 1 star to 5 stars to reflect that Marshall have been in touch and we have a resolution. I'm pleased to report that we have received a full refund for the goods ordered due to non receipt and marshall have offered a gesture item as an apology.
I firmly believe the reason for non delivery lies fully with the international courier services provided by DHL.

Ordered Major IV in brown on 29th Nov. Website says 'Marshall offers fast global shipping' but nothing turned up. Can't contact them other than by completing a 'contact form' which is hit and miss for anyone getting back to you. Live chat is always deactivated.
Quick to take money for the order but slow to send out. We had an email confirming order, email confirming item shipped (although click on it and tracking doesn't exist) Marshalls suggested action on this is to pass the buck and get in touch with DHL.
When we reached out to DHL, they have no record of item/order in their system. Which is poor from them, automated phone service just go round in a loop and you get no answers.
Then to add insult to injury...we get an email from Marshall asking to rate the product we bought! Poor - as we've never received the item. Even giving them extended time to deliver what with the black friday/holiday sales. We are still into our 3rd week of waiting for item to show up.

Stupidity is what comes to mind

Stupidity is what comes to mind when describing my dealings with Marshall’s Customer Support Group.

I ordered and paid for a speaker but it never arrived. My money was never returned even though the local courier company admitted the loss of the shipment.

This information about the lost package was passed on to Marshall’s Customer Support Group and a whole week went by before the Customer Support Group replied with the following mail and I quote “Have you received the shipment in the meantime?”

Well I should still like my money back.

PS. I think your speakers are excellent.

Ive bought the Marshall Major IV and…

Ive bought the Marshall Major IV and its just amazing product. Sound quality and material. Design too.

As its my first time dealing with Marshall products. I also decided to buy the Minor III. Im sorry but its totally bad. The material is like cheap plastic ones you buy from a terminal. Sound is good when there’s nothing around you. But if you’re outside walking or on a bus, mostly the surrounding sounds will cover or disturb to what you’re listening to. And calls too same thing.

Extremely Disappointed

Extremely Disappointed – Warning to Others

My recent experience with Marshall has been an absolute nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others. I ordered [mention product] from Marshall, expecting the quality and professionalism the brand is known for. However, the delivery process has completely shattered my trust in the company.

Marshall shipped my order via UPS—a company that has proven to be utterly incompetent. For the past 2–3 days, I’ve been waiting for my package. I even called UPS multiple times, explaining the urgency of my situation (I have a flight to India tomorrow and will be away for 2 months). Despite all of this, they failed to deliver my parcel.

Marshall, you are equally responsible for this disaster. Why would you partner with such an unreliable delivery service? This isn’t just about UPS—it’s about your brand’s lack of care and accountability for your customers’ experience. Now, I’m left with no package, no resolution, and a tremendous amount of stress.

To anyone considering buying from Marshall, be aware! If you care about receiving your order on time or without unnecessary hassle, think twice before trusting this company. My experience has been nothing but disappointing and frustrating, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through this.

Marshall, you need to take responsibility, improve your logistics, and choose better delivery partners. This situation is unacceptable.

I've now emailed Marshall Support 4 times without a reply. (00157264)
It feels like I've just been dropped in the middle of my enquiry without any explanation.
The speaker was great, until it stopped working. The customer service has been very poor though.

Update - they did reply to me at last. An email arrived 3 days ago. They asked me for some more information, which I supplied straight away.
Now back to silence. I understand that this is a busy time of the year but this is not good at all.

just rubbish service

just rubbish service! They take the money and then they do not care. I placed an order on line and it seems it is lost by they do not care. They tell me to keep waiting to do their investigation. The delivery time frame they provide is fake and the customer service totally useless.
