I ordered 2 rings and a pair of earrings 3 weeks ago. They never said it was coming from China. Had I known, I never would have ordered them. After reading a lot of negative reviews, I reached out to... See more

Finally arrived. Cheap crap, wrong colors, and they’ve been deaf to appeals. They should be ashamed. I really liked the pictured design, but reality is flimsy, undersized cheat metal and plastic.
Saw a Facebook ad stating they were an American company (their exact words); they are not! They sent a tracking link that is fraudulent. There was no origin location or actual freight logistics prov... See more
Just spent several hours trying to get all the documents needed to return two orders. Bottom line: it is very expensive over $150- $175 to return 10 items that weigh 1.5 lbs Received est from USPS.... See more
MASSIVE Scam
Scam. Shame on you at this time when people are struggling. Karma will get you
Items never delivered
I ordered & paid for 3 items. Only 1 item was delivered. I have inquired several times via email as to the status of the other two items & there is no response to my inquiry. I would like my money returned for the items not received.

Would give it a zero if possible. These people won't be in business much longer. As you can see here, they are putting fake 5 star reviews here all over the page in between the people who have been scammed. I'm reporting them now. It's disgusting how much effort these people put in to scamming people when they could put that effort and time in to getting educated or start a legitimate business. I don't know how these people sleep at night.
Report to your credit card company and the police right away to help stop them from doing this to more people.
Scam
Scam. Was hoping for mother of pearl and labradorite, as shown on the Facebook ad. But received plastic pour-over with a fake plastic pearl and low-quality metal. Of course, they don't say source is China, and return to China is not included and really difficult. Facebook is as much to blame. Sweatshop.
Junk
This is not hand-crafted, quality jewelry. It is cheap plastic junk that ships from China. Don't waste your money.
This appears to be a scam
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS "COMPANY". I agree it is a SCAM as some others have attested. I haven't received any shipping updates. Phone numbers listed at Mary Gem's Website, do not work. Phoned my credit card company to dispute the charge & not honor payment. I don't think I will receive the items are they are from China as others suggested. There appears to be no area code of "555".
Don't be Fooled: Junk jewelry from China
The 'jewelry' looks like it came out of a kids' gumball machine... almost plastic. The quality is below a zero. Most importantly, they say the products are made in the USA and they are NOT. They are made in China, so good luck with the return, if it doesn't cost you more than you paid for the junk.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS "COMPANY"
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS "COMPANY". It's a SCAM for your money. The jewelry isn't worth anything and the stones are not real stones, and the material is not gold or gold plated. It is worthless and I waisted my money and they are not sending me a refund.
Hopeful but realistic
Marys Gems. I purchased 4 items on 1/23/25 and I did received a couple of shipping updates and then they stopped. I wrote to the company to check on the status and the rep could not locate any such order. I entered in the tracking number on parcels app website and found the order status.

I am still hopeful that what I receive is acceptable. K
I bought two pieces of jewelry
I bought two pieces of jewelry. The necklace I purchased has a broken clasp. I emailed them and asked for a refund. They responded to my email saying they will check with fulfillment but have not yet taken any action. Most reliable vendors would take action immediately for a defective item. It has been four days and I am still waiting for an email with a proposed resolution. And This is not a real artist's company. The products are cheap and come from China.
Update: I wanted to say that after several emails, they did give me a refund for the broken necklace. They told me that they are an American company but do some manufacturing in China.
Do NOT order from this company
Do NOT order from this company. While the images online look to be made with quality gems and metals, the actual items that arrived are poor costume knockoffs. Such a scam. Like others have said, this company is not a New York artist retiring, but a front for a company in China. Lesson learned and money wasted.
SCAM
SCAM! ~I was about to order a ring, BUT THEN I saw a pair of earrings I just bought from TEMU for less than $10. I love the earrings but here she (Mary): advertises them as if she had made them in her little studio in NY. SCAM
Do not fall for this
Do not fall for this. Insurance added to shipping without my approval, and they won’t refund. If I send jewelry back even if unopened, they’ll give me back half my purchase. Grifters.
SCAM. Looks pretty but ugly truth
SCAM. Looks pretty but ugly truth. The biggest clue it was a scam and lead me to researching the site was that I could not opt-out of delivery insurance--which is like buying the extended warranties at Walmart. Just another way to nickle-and-dime customers.
DO NOT PURCHASE
I purchased 3 items to get the discount. Two of the items were as shown online and were of good quality. However, the Vintage Blue Ring Set was missing the “blue stone” and was nothing like the ring set pictured online. My biggest complaint was when trying to be reimbursed for this, I had to return the ring set, paying the shipping to freakin China!!! Would they say they received it and would they refund my account? I would pay $15-20 to return the rings hoping to be reimbursed for $28! They know folks won’t bother. Scum of the earth!
Definitely a scam
Definitely a scam. Came from China, not NY. The items were terrible quality. Even my child didn’t want them as costume jewelry. lol. I completely wasted my money, items are not wearable at all.
NOT as advertised - a real scam.
I ordered from a Facebook ad claiming the company was shutting down and offering huge discounts. The picture on the ad showed a beautiful pair of earrings, opal stones set in elegant backings. What arrived (weeks later) was a pair of PLASTIC "stones" set in gaudy, cheap backings. $35 down the drain, and to return it, you have to mail it to some guy in China. "Mary," My Aunt Fanny! Or they offer to give me a discount on more of their junk jewelry - as if!! Lesson learned. Don't fall for it.
If I could give negative star rating…
If I could give negative star rating (-3⭐️) I’d do it. Ditto to the earlier reviews about cheap junk, and “Mary” is a Chinese company. If you don’t like the product or quality you can return for a refund but only after you pay the shipping back to China. No US- based return site! I’m guessing it shipping would cost $20–30. Buyer beware is right!!!
I wish I had read the reviews on this…
I wish I had read the reviews on this site. The earrings look similar to the advertised photo, but are cheaply made and the differences are very noticeable. Will be reporting them to Facebook for false advertising claims.
Unfortunately a pricy lesson learned
Unfortunately a pricy lesson learned! This is not someone in a studio in New York like she says! It’s a distributor out of China and while the earrings may look like the picture in design quality wise they are crap! When asked about returning they offer you a 30% refund without sending the items back, or send them back for a full refund, but postage is almost more than what you paid! When I sent them an email to clarify who they are this was there response: Additionally, thank you for your inquiry about my warehouse location and production process. I appreciate your interest and want to provide some clarity. I am a proud US-based company with our main operations and headquarters located here. However, for larger-scale production and to accommodate the space needed for crafting our handmade jewelry, we utilize warehouse facilities in China.” Again a very pricy mistake, and such cheap products!
