I ordered 2 rings and a pair of earrings 3 weeks ago. They never said it was coming from China. Had I known, I never would have ordered them. After reading a lot of negative reviews, I reached out to... See more

Finally arrived. Cheap crap, wrong colors, and they’ve been deaf to appeals. They should be ashamed. I really liked the pictured design, but reality is flimsy, undersized cheat metal and plastic.
Saw a Facebook ad stating they were an American company (their exact words); they are not! They sent a tracking link that is fraudulent. There was no origin location or actual freight logistics prov... See more
Just spent several hours trying to get all the documents needed to return two orders. Bottom line: it is very expensive over $150- $175 to return 10 items that weigh 1.5 lbs Received est from USPS.... See more
Garbage
Garbage. I'll admit, I fell for this scam. The earrings and 2 rings I ordered are made of some kind of metal, NOT STERLING SILVER. I was duped into thinking the pictures of the jewelry were real. It is totally bait-and-switch. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!!!!
The products are very poor quality
The products are very poor quality. Took almost a month to get here. “Mary” in the story provided about the company is not in New York as advertised. To return something it goes to China. Buyer beware. Products are very low quality.
Cheap plastic that I wouldn't even pay…
Cheap plastic that I wouldn't even pay $1 for as I wouldn't want them even if they are free - the opal earrings looks like shiny eggshell but in plastic and looks nothing like opals; the blue crystal earrings are not even glass but again, cheap plastic that doesn't even try to look like they are crystals. The images on the website are clearly misleading. I can't give these as gifts to my sister as it would be insulting!
Fraudulent advertising
Fraudulent advertising. Claims to be going out of business and selling off inventory. Ordered off of Facebook ad. Kept getting order delayed emails.
Tried contacting them to cancel by email with no reply. This is another Chinese company selling on Facebook with no customer service and fraudulent. They are not going out of business as they claim in the ad. They are not US based. ALL FAUSE. DON'T ORDER.
Fraudulent scam out of China
Fraudulent scam out of China. Do NOT buy from this vendor. I'm attempting to get a refund but it's likely not going to happen.
SCAM FRAUD HORRIBLE STUFF FROM CHINA
I ordered several silver ring sets from them, which I had no idea would be coming from China. I received a fairly random hodge-podge of "gold" rings, in the wrong sizes, and not at all what I ordered. I was asked to send photo evidence of the wrong order being sent, and was told that after "careful review of my photos" they determined I WAS sent the correct stuff. WTF?!? They've offered me something else from the website at 30% off but they're crazy if they think I'm doing that WASTED MY MONEY!
The whole thing is a scam
The whole thing is a scam. They couldn't have deducted my payment faster if they tried. After sending the close to $100, I have nothing to show for my money. It was an expensive lesson but I learned to research everything I want to order on the web. Can't they just get a normal job like everyone else instead of stealing money from hard-working people???
What a mess!
What a mess! Upon receiving 2 of the 3 pieces I foolishly ordered, I wanted to return them and get my money back. No information about returns included in the package. Contacting Mary’s gems resulted in instructions for return. Required: mailing package to CHINA with tracking at my expense!! Just throwing more money away!! I wish I had done my research before ordering. Expensive lesson.
Complete scam
Complete scam. Mary's Gems is not going out of business; they were worthless in tracking an order of mine that got lost. I feel incredibly stupid for falling for this scam. What she is posting on FB is a lie. Do not buy from this seller.
Facebook posts about her closing her…
Facebook posts about her closing her studio are NOT true. Thank-god I looked at the reviews before ordering. I just got a hunch that it was too good to be true. You can't trust anything these days
Incorrect Jewelry
I ordered 3 pieces of jewelry from Mary’s Gems. One of the rings I received was not the ring I selected and was not the correct size. I sent an email and was tild it was the correct rung, but they’d send me another piece of jewelry. I said I want the ring I ordered un the correct size. Have heard bothing since. Sorry service and unreliable.

I am beyond frustrated as I'd ordered a pearl necklace from them which arrived with no issue. My daughter loved it so I ordered another one for her. Unfortunately there was a mistake in the address & when I emailed them to ask them to correct this, they repeated the same information over & over again. They provided a usps tracking which the Post Office said was incorrect. There is no way to talk to someone so after my last email to them explaining once again what happened & asking for assistance, I've started a dispute with my bank.
Since I posted this, the necklace did arrive. I realized that as long a as they had the correct zip code, it didn't matter that the wrong town was listed. I stand by my frustration though as to how impossible it was to reach anyone, however, I stopped my dispute.
dont bother
really glad I read the reviews before buying. Thank you, people!
The website is a total fraud
The website is a total fraud. Mary is not in Mattituck, NY. Mary is in China! The story was compelling, but it is a big scam. Run as fast as you can, away from this Chinese company selling very inferior product, not as described on the website. Total fraud.
Cost of returning items
Just spent several hours trying to get all the documents needed to return two orders. Bottom line: it is very expensive over $150- $175 to return 10 items that weigh 1.5 lbs
Received est from USPS. FEDEX, UPS
Plus mountains of paperwork. Have decided to warn everyone and donate items to charity bingo for state assisted living facility
Total scam - DO NOT ORDER
Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered - total scam. Order placed Dec 22, arrived Jan 17 -- from CHINA. There is NO "studio" in NY. Everything looks like costume jewelry, very lightweight with flimsy chains. The "Natural Pearl Necklace" is in fact THREE strands of the cheap beads sold in craft stores, a total pain to put on/take off. DO NOT ORDER.
Don’t buy from this store/company
Don’t buy from this store/company. Jewelry that is on website is NOT what you’re going to receive. I bought 5 pairs of earrings and they are crap compared to what they advertised. I wish I could add photos from website and photos of what I received. I am so upset as I bought these earrings to gift. I won’t be now. I guess I’ll either just toss or wear when just going to the store or whatever. Most likely will just toss as they are so cheap looking. Buyer be ware…
Fraudulent website
The items are shipped from China and they are not silver as advertised.
Mary's Gems a complete Scam.
This site and the claim that Mary is heartbroken to be "closing her store" is a complete scam. She ? does not have a studio in NY, the company is in Hong Kong.
The jewelry you receive is not sterling, but copper with a thin garish silver coating that rubs off quickly. The "stones" are cheap color prints. The little cardboard boxes are high quality and probably cost more than the jewelry inside....Beware!....do NOT order anything from this dishonest fraudulent site!
Do not order from Mary’s Gems....it is a…
Do not order from Mary’s Gems…..it is a total scam. You could find better quality jewelry at the dollar store. What I received is nothing but plastic junk. Not a single gem in any of the pieces. Have not heard back from them since I requested a full refund.
