I cannot say enough wonderful things about the matchmaker Leighann, she is truly exceptional! Her patience, dedication, and genuine commitment to helping me find meaningful connections were evident from the start. She took the time to thoughtfully go through her entire database to identify potential matches that aligned with my preferences, which made me feel truly seen and valued. Do not use this company! I am an attractive woman and the gentleman Sasha matched me with was horrible. Whatever specifics you are looking for in a person they match you with the complete opposite. They have no regard for your feedback and are solely interested in sending you on awful dates with the hopes you’ll spend more money or even worse yet they tell you to sign up for their coaching program! These people don’t care one bit. The worst company I have ever dealt with!

Update. A few days ago, I wrote my review of Matchmaking Company, and they responded, pretending they had fulfilled their contract, blaming me and the partner they had chosen for the failure, and saying they were open to reviewing the situation with me. I see that, in addition to being scammers and liars, they are also hypocrites. They never called me to fix things, despite having my information and phone number. I did call them, but they never answered. In fact, we made an agreement for a single date (fortunately, I didn't get scammed out of more than the $700 they stole from me, which in itself is an exaggerated amount to search for a partner, given that Facebook offers it for free and a website charges around $50 a month for unlimited matches). I told them I wanted to first test out if the matchmaking process worked, since they explained to me how "wonderful" their system was. I told them I wanted to meet someone from Maryland who met my expectations. They told me they had the perfect person. In short, they deceived me and the "perfect person" (who wasn't even in Maryland, but in Virginia) by telling us both lies about ourselves. Fortunately, when we contacted each other via messenger, we realized they had lied to us both. I politely reported that the interview hadn't taken place because we detected an incompatibility, and the matchmaker who helped me told me they would coordinate finding another person to pair me up with and fulfill what they had offered me. To this day, not only have they not called me, but they're hiding so they don't fulfill the contract. What they do, in responding to my review, is very hypocritically say that it's not their fault that there was no compatibility and that they're willing to fix things. But I see that they only do this to appear serious and make those who read these reviews believe that this is a trustworthy and responsible company, when they obviously aren't.

You enrolled in a single-match program, which was successfully fulfilled. The person we introduced to you was carefully selected based on the preferences you shared, and both of you agreed to the introduction. As is common in matchmaking, we cannot guarantee chemistry or a specific outcome, especially after just one meeting — connection and compatibility are subjective and unpredictable.
You were never ghosted or “lied to.” After your initial feedback, we offered a second introduction at no extra charge — in good faith — to ensure a positive experience and stand by our service. That offer still stands. Despite our follow-up attempts, we haven’t received a response from you to move forward.
We are here, not hiding, and would still be happy to reconnect and work with you to fulfill that bonus introduction — if you're open to it. We remain committed to doing right by every client, and your satisfaction still matters to us.

This has been a great experience. I had been out of dating for a while and really didn't know how to start again. So glad I took a chance, and tried Matchmakers. At the sign up they took the time to get to know about me and what was important to me for a relationship. Soon after they arranged my first meeting. It's set up to be a casual introduction with no real pressure. After each date you report in on how it went, what you liked, what you didn't. They adjust your matches based on your feedback. When you reach out to them, they are there. To me it feels like they are vested in you finding a great match. They also have exercises/ home work for you to do that helps. I signed the contract in October. It was agreed that I could pay it out over time (I was expecting a large deposit that did not arrive). I paid $538 per month up through December. I told them to put me on hold as my income had reduced for a few months at the first of the year. They then tried to put through a withdrawal for the entire contracted amount (as if I had paid nothing) of $6452.57 then they told me it went to collections in March 25.
They made two matches for me in the months following, one in September who was not at all what I had asked for, the second one was in November, and it was a reasonable match according to what we both were looking for, we went on the 3 date and he never called again (there was no chemistry). Those are the only two dates they arranged, and there was ZERO "Coaching" in spite of the fact this is why I decided to go with them, that it was more than just sifting through numbers. I have had zero contact with them since then, and the only number I have for client services requires me to leave a message and ask forer a callback, which, I am unable to recieve because I am in sessions all day. I cannot follow through with anything with them now, and I did pay them $2690 for which I could have sure had more fun with an escort service which would have given me a lot more satisfaction.... and exactly what I asked of them... PFFFT. Don't throw away your money, now I am trying to find out how to settle with them, but I can't get ahold of anyone. WTH? Now they insist my program didn't start until October, which is 3 months after I made my first payment.

Our team returned your call and left you a voicemail in response.
To clarify, your hold request paused our ability to continue matchmaking, per your instructions. We absolutely still have the ability and desire to provide the remainder of your program, including introductions and coaching support. All we ask is that the payment agreement you entered into be honored so we can move forward with providing the full scope of services.

They just don’t have the qualified matches
Things started out well when they wanted my money. I signed in September. It is now almost May and I have had one match. If you are expecting some results from your investment, this may not be the place.

This Company is a Scam, Only Want Your Money
Do Not Sign A Contract With This Company!!!! They only want your money and will not fulfill their promises of finding you someone! The way it works is you get an interview with someone who is basically a salesperson and she tells you that they have plenty of people that meet your preferences and that it will be easy to set you up. You sign a contract and pay the agreed upon price for the agreed upon number of matches. Then they assign you a matchmaker who is not given all of the information about you that was collected in your initial interview. They introduce you to people that do not meet your preferences and when you complain to a manager they say “well you can’t plug in your preferences into a computer and pop out a person”. Basically contradicting what the salesperson at the initial interview process says to you. I’ve been set up with multiple men that didn’t meet my preferences or seriously had problems. Most were either socially awkward as in couldn’t carry a phone conversation, were blatantly rude, or just very creepy. The last person I was set up with was creepy to the point where I had to decline an in-person date with him and he started yelling at me over the phone. I ended up blocking his number after he tried to call me back multiple times. He ended up leaving threatening voicemails on my phone from a different phone number that were so severe I had to file a report to the police. My personal matchmaker with the company was very apologetic and caring over the situation, but the management at that company was completely unhelpful and extremely disrespectful. Larry the manager called me when I asked my matchmaker if I could get a refund due to this extreme situation, and told me no. He was not the slightest bit remorseful over the situation, interrupted me while I was talking to say it’s not his company’s fault, said I’m not getting any money back, and said the conversation was basically over. The company is clearly managed by a bunch of scammers who only care about getting your money and do not have any care for the satisfaction or safety of their clients.

I wish there was a way for the customers to connect and share this devastating experience because that is what we need after dealing with this company. I did not use ANYTHING AT ALL - Not a dollar from this company, was not able to cancel, now, me, a single mother trying to rebuild credit, have a collection of $2400 with no recourse. Thanks Matchmaking for damaging my credit when you provided me with NOTHING. What are you wanting that money for? Please explain. When all I did was be there, late night, and now I can recognize the scam techniques they used for me to sign up. The good reviews are probably fake - if not, let's see the faces or true stories.

As with any professional service, we’re unable to move forward without fulfilling the agreed-upon payment terms. Because the process was never able to begin, you didn’t experience the full scope of what we offer—including personalized matchmaking, coaching, and introductions.
We’re still happy to have a conversation if you’d like to revisit your options, but we hope this provides clarity around the situation and the steps that were taken.
They don’t respect the client’s wants and needs
I am sure how they have any high reviews but I don’t feel this company respects the fact you paid a lot a money for quality service. I signed up in December 2023 and the first matchmaker I worked with couldn’t even provide with a bio that includes certifications or credentials. At that point I was worried I made a mistake. One of the matches had been married 6 times and when I went back to the matchmaker she said that she was under the impression that he was married only 3 times. So they are not effectively vetting the matches. The next match I had told me he was not in a financial position to date. The other matches just opted not to meet. I understand that this is a process and it can take time but I have asked on several occasions to check in and just let me know they are still checking but it they don’t bother. At this point I am pretty disappointed and expect to get the same canned unempathetic response to this post as all of the other responses. I would had better luck on Facebook dating.
UPDATE: 4 months later after I got a response from my review. Nothing has changed. I have not heard anything from my matchmaker not even a general newsletter or any sort of correspondence.
