My new Moncler 1000 had a dodgy controller which Matebike UK have sorted seamlessly. Video chats from the engineer were very helpful. Brilliant service.

I purchased a Mate X which I am extremely happy with. The bike is made of high quality components & performs beautifully. I have no regrets regarding my purchase. I had one minor issue which was dealt with very efficiently by Andrew & Saad. This gives me the confidence that should I have any future issues they will be there to assist. Many thanks.

Mr. Uche, store manager hosted me and we've done a little tour at the shop. This e-bikes mate x model are absolutely amazing, very high quality of construction and it stands out from any other bike. The colours are wicked and the riding is very comfortable and smooth .
Definitely a place worth to visit , test, enjoy and buy these beautiful bikes with lot's of colour options .
The colour I would choose for myself would be the metallic green which is absolutely out of this world. All the best and success!

Being an avid road biker for several years pre-Covid, I was sceptical about the latest e-bike trend. Much like e-scooters, I thought they’d be a passing trend but I was mistaken. With many well known brands releasing their own variants now, e-bikes are definitely here to stay. I’d had a look at a couple of bikes from other brands that seemed to concentrate all their efforts on making an e-bike look like a road bike. For me personally, they mostly all look as if they have a bad case of indigestion in their down tube with swollen parts that make it clear there’s a battery there. What appealed to me about the Mate.bike was that it wasn’t trying to look like another type of bike, it was perfectly comfortable being itself, an e-bike. The other bikes I had tested from similar brands had locked down any maintenance to their own mechanics but the Mate uses the majority of parts a normal fat bike would use, bar the battery of course! I decided to test ride the bike before I made my choice. Greeted by the knowledgeable Aytaç, he explained all the features of the bike without trying to sell me whatever he had in stock (as other bike shops usually do). He made sure I knew all about the various models before I made my decision. I decided to settle on a 250w Palm Angels with a couple of customisable extras (to make it my own!). From test ride to picking up my bike, the entire process was super simple. I even used the cycle to work scheme to help purchase it and had the bike in-hand all within a couple of days. All the extras were installed in-store for me, ready for me to ride away into the sunset (I literally did as I collected it after work for my commute home!). I even asked for an accompanied test ride on the actual bike I was collecting to make sure I was comfortable riding it alone, to which they more than happily obliged. I’m sitting here just having ridden home with a smile from ear to ear with how happy I am with the bike. Now let the customisations begin! I would definitely consider taking one of these for a spin if you’re on the fence about your next N+1 bike. Why did I purchase a Mate? Unreliable public transport, increased travelcard costs, getting back into cycling after knee surgery and needing an extra push (in the form of a battery), contributing positively to the environment as compared to other means of transport, bonus of being foldable and saving space for storage both at home and at work, a way of transporting kids short distances to/from after school clubs without a huge cargo bike or car, simplicity of removing the battery to charge or leaving it charging while still in the bike, a more comfortable ride with suspension, and lastly the fun aspect!

I have to say that from start to finish the company has been absolutely fantastic. Even after I purchased my mate x if I had/have any queries they have been more than helpful. Fantastic customer service and a fantastic product. Love everything about it

The bike would have an issue with itself every month, fragile to use; not only will the motors fail you but so will parts of the frame start falling off; battery sparking and making fire; front wheel falling off while cycling… many more issues…
Wouldn’t recommend buying unless you want to be disappointed and lose your money or put your life at risk…

I'm so happy with my bike, I got it though cycle to work scheme. Which took only 2 days in total and I collect my bike from Woolwich warehouse, staff was great and I was so happy to be shown my bike by Saad, key guy, knows allt about about mate bikes.

I purchased a mate x through the company bike2work scheme. All the team from sales through to the fantastic chap that delivered it directly to myself were brilliant, really helpful, professional and courteous and I am happy to be part of the Mate X family! and looking forward to many miles on this amazing piece of kit.

My display developed a fault after approximately 150 miles, so I enquired if Mate had seen this problem before. Without hesitation they sent a brand new display the next day. Amazing customer support for an amazing product!

Customer service was second to none, I made the order from the website and incorrectly Input my address details so I email then called the next day and left a voicemail within 10 minutes I was called back by a very pleasant fella called Andrew with confirmation that my address details were corrected this was a Friday I was advised that I may receive the Eggrider controller no later than Wednesday but to my amazement it turned up first thing Today (Monday morning) I would 100% recommend this company due to superb customer service via phone email delivery time of the item also pricings of the item many thanks 🤝🏻💯

Luvving my Mate, Moncler. At 62 I've arthritus in my kness so had to give up regular cycling. No more with Moncler, superb.

Use the throttle to start off, then no more. The Pedal assist is superb, use it in conjunction with the gears for the best effect.

Delightful autumn afternoon yesterday, charging around on the grass on Clapham Common, then some hill climbing in Norwood and onto Brockwell Park and more charging around. Given that we ascended to Crystal Palace, no mean feat. Moncler never failed, I had to Pedal, my legs tell me that, although not my knees.

So,So, much fun. Moncler is a little on the heavy side, takes some getting used to.

Used it on a pootle on Sunday, well on target for 60 miles. Unlock it and ride, down at least 20%, then you would expect that.

Great fun all round all day . Fantastic bikes and company . A new found freedom on all types of terrain and weather conditions !!

Tony had a serious problem with charging the battery on his Mate X 750, He contacted yourselves and was informed that they would send him a replacement asap. The bike was still under warranty. Everything was dealt with efficiently and quickly. Job Done.
