For more than 50 years, Mavis has been selling discount tires that are identical to tires sold elsewhere at higher prices. Mavis has the expertise and experience to provide our customers with their ideal tires and save them money in the process.

SCAM - Manager Reggie - Have purchased 4 tires new and got road hazard. Brought car in with a nail in the tire and they told me 3 of the 4 tires need to be replaced and would give me 20% off. The warranty is tire tread based and goes by the chart on Mavis' website (google road hazard Mavis). First point is this shows there is no 20% in the chart. Second, when asked what the tire tread to start 10/32 and now is 6/32 meaning that I would be given a 50% discount on the tire. He refused and could not explain how he came up with 20%. Additionally the other two they wanted to replace were at a tread rating of 4/32 or 75% they pay. Pretty basic commission and sales scam. I refuse to do business with these guys EVERY AGAIN!! Stay away and know what you pay for and question it. Filing case with corporate and BBB. In the end he said he gave me a discount and wouldn't share the calculation I could pay or no car,

This is what happend, I bought a new tire from Mavis Tires just 20 days ago and I had a flat tire, so went back to Mavis in Cumming, GA where I bought this tier. The lady manager over there refused to fix my issue and said there is warranty for the tire and my only option is purchase a new tire. She was so rude and just did not want to fix my tire and claimed I did not purchase warranty so she would not fix it even it was with in 20 days. And same store made me buy a new tire for a flat tire for new Model Y and I did that prior to incident.
I refused to buy new tire from Mavis drove my car by filling some air in the flat tire and next to Mavis I found Discount Tire shop.
I was only hopeing to have my flat tire fixed at Discount Tire, but they guy in the frong desk looked at my car and said indeed the tire still had warranty and he replaced my flat tire with a band new tire for no chaege excpect for the labor.
I was so thrilled since I did not even bought it from you. Really shame on Mavis Tire and Discount Tire rocks.
Mavis is nothing but want to sell tires, don't service them and squeeze money from people. really shame Mavis.
P.S: This is the classic part, I then went back to Mavis, told the lady manager that Discount tire replaced my tire then she cliams she never said tire can't be replaced. I told her she is a lier and what she did was not good for her business. They are not just fair and nothing but cheating people.
Absolutely TERRIBLE experience 3/19/23! Daughter tan over an “itty bitty nail” (per Lisa’s words) and she’s been sitting at the Cumming, GA location for over 4.5hrs. We called at 2 & Justin (who clearly hates his job he’s an absolutely miserable customer service person!) told us her car was next. Called at 330 He said the same thing so we asked him to actually go out eyes on it. Called again at 436 because daughter text and asked if they called us since sue overhead, “sorry about the civic” told her nope. So I called at they STILL have her car there and making excuses about drying time etc. THEY CHARGE FOR THIS NONSENSE! We always go to discount tires. Next time we will wait until they open on Monday! This was obnoxious!
Don't buy tires here if you care about rotating your tires on schedule. Over the years, I have bought many sets of tires from this location mostly when it was still Kauffman Tires. Each set of four tires included free lifetime balance and rotation. Since Mavis bought Kauffman, it has been nearly impossible to get the tires rotated on schedule. In fact, I've never been able to get the tires rotated here.
I've stopped by on half a dozen occasions to have my tires rotated only to be told they couldn't work me in or it would be a minimum 2-3 hour wait. So on my last attempt of stopping by only to be told they couldn't work me in, I finally decided to make an appointment. The earliest available appointment was four days later so I booked a time. I showed up at my scheduled time thinking I would be in and out in 30 minutes only to be told it would be a 2 hour wait! So what's the point of making an appointment?!
I'll never buy tires from here again.
UPDATE: I wrote this review while waiting to have my tires rotated. After waiting over two hours past my appointment time, I was told it would be at least another hour before they could get my car in and then another hour to rotate the tires. So best case, it would have taken 4 hours to complete a simple tire rotation. That is entirely unacceptable so I canceled and left. This is no way to do business. I will pay a PROFESSIONAL tire shop to rotate my tires.
However, if you are in a position to take half a day off of work in order to get your tires rotated, then Mavis Tires is the place you want to go!! Because it will take at least that long.

The Mavis team began work on my vehicle on time and finished the work quickly. The front desk manager was polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. I've been a customer at this Mavis location since 2005 and continue to be pleased with the level of service (even when short-staffed), pricing, and trustworthiness of the work. It's where I take all four of my vehicles for tire service and maintenance.
