I bought a custom made guitar, which Max Guitars had in their shop (happy with that) and at the same time I bought an amp (Da Capo Roesner) which appeared to have an annoying rumble. I could not hear that well in their shop because of their ventilation system which makes noise. I phoned immediately when I came home and noticed it. I was very surprised they did not want to pay me back the money and give me a voucher instead! Their policy is very strict when buying in the shop: you don't get a refund even when the product is not 100%. I was told that a rumble was normal but I tried 4 amps after this experience and with only a very light background noise which was not disturbing.
Finally I bought a Schertler through them but I am still disappointed about how they treat their customers.

Buy a beautiful stratocaster custom shop Journeyman blonde E Clapton rare to find currently except at Max Guitar. Friendly negotiation leading to a good price. Great contact with Robbert for a quick sale and delivery.

The guys at Maxguitar are super friendly. They know what they are talking about. I like to buy used gear at the shop. They often have interesting stuff. Shipping is usually fast and safe packed. Their amp tech is making a great job! Highly recommended👍

The guitar ,an amazing Gibson Custom Shop es 335 ,arrived so quickly and perfectly packed of course.It was perfectly set up with a super confortable action as I asked for to Max Guitar team who were very efficient ,kind and quick to answer my emails.I would recommend them anytime !

From the very first point of contact on the phone on day one until the moment I left the store the day after, with my newly bought guitar in my hands, I got nothing but positive vibes about Max Guitars and its employees. I now realize that when I left the store (note that I had never set foot in it before..) I had shaken hands with four employees, who all in their own particular ways showed that they were the embodiment of what is likely the store’s mission: ‘being a specialty store for guitar players giving them the highest degree of customer satisfaction.’ They had not only prepared the new guitar for me as they had promised the evening before, but they had also put new strings on it for free, let me play the guitar in one of their beautiful soundproof studios to test the electronics, helped me with my Taylor customer registration and promised free maintenance and check-up in three months’ time. The extras I bought were all offered with an attractive discount. The guitar strap had to be adjusted, for which they kindly took the time. All in all, they created a superfriendly and knowledgeable environment to be in, and gave me a true ‘beleving’ (Dutch for ‘fantastic experience’), which was more than worth the one-hour drive! For all of the reasons mentioned above I can warmly recommend this store to anyone :)

About the Gibson LP standard 60's... It's gorgeous. After a good set-up it will feel and play great. Love the 'thin' neck. The sound, combined with a Marshall tube amp, is pure rock. Deep, rich and still crisp.

Contact with the store is always very pleasant. They have a lot of very good products en just know their stuff. When there are minor problems they always solve more than well.

6 out of 5 stars for me. Great collection, great vibe and professionalism. And a special shout-out to Marijn, who despite being sick came to the store to tune up my recently purchased guitar. Because we came from Antwerp, he went more than the extra mile and gave the guitar an incredible treatment. My new favourite guitar heaven on earth

great support and very friendly , everytime again

I decided to buy a Max Well brand guitar. At the begenning I was not sure if this is a good choice, so I visited the store and tried the product. Comapred to Fender, at the same price level that guitar sounds way way better. Finally I decided to buy that model (Maxwell 'The Axe' - 3-Color Sunburst, heavily aged). Time of delivery around two months, I was so suprised see that guitar arrived earlier.
The store and support on professional level. Definitely good choice. Thanks for that beautiful instrument!

For 17 years I am a happy customer at Max Guitar. It is all about mutual respect, joy, the right gear AND the possibility to test and trade.

I had been looking for a specific acoustic guitar, that’s been sold out basically everywhere. But luckily, Max Guitars had one in stock, and in the finish I was looking for. I bought it and the whole transaction went really smooth. Guitar’s been setup by their luthier and it plays exactly according to my personal specs. Great store!

Bought a guitar from them. Nice guitar but was not exactly as advertised. Turned out to be a cheaper version of what I was led to believe on their website.

When I addressed it, I just got told “the guitar is what it is” and “the difference is not that big anyway” and “glad to hear you are happy with the guitar”.

It would have helped if they, straightaway, just had admitted to have made a mistake and had said sorry. I still like the guitar, but this attitude rubbed me the wrong way.

I bought a used guitar that had to be shipped and the team was very helpful and quite quick to respond. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase, and the help and support I got. One very very small comment I would have is it would be nice to get an e-mail when the item is shipped out, as I did not get any notification nor a response from the shop for 3 days, and finally 1 day before delivery I got a message from UPS that the guitar will arrive the next day. The shipping was fast and I am really happy so this really a minor thing.

I wanted to order a guitar on their website but I had several questions.
I was able to contact them by email and Whatsapp and they quickly answered all my questions.
I was worried because the guitar had no case but it was shipped fast and bulletproof packed.
It was also perfectly setup to my preferences.

First of all, I chose a great guitar from Max Guitar. She got to me on time and safely. Sounds wonderful!!! and just feels fabulous.

But what is also worth mentioning is that the support is so personal and nice and that is really worth a lot. most notably:-)

Very good professional service. Arranged a zoom demonstration as I was not able to go to the store because of Covid. Very helpful staff and the guitar arrived 2 days later. Very well packaged in 2/3 boxes and bubblewrap. Guitar was even better than it came across on Zoom.
