Excellent service again from the…

Excellent service again from the support team at Maxview. Had our motorised motorhome system go wrong last year. Conversations on the phone over what could be the issue and it was agreed to send the unit back to be inspected. They fixed it and returned it to me in less than five days at a very reasonable price. Just had to do an update to find a new sat position and again very helpful via email. So good to deal with real people and a quality British made product that they support. 10/10 Thank you Maxview support team. As I was told many years ago... "sales sell the first one and service sells everyone thereafter".

Maxview Signal Booster

The maxview aerial booster fitted to our Motorhome lost power whilst on site. We rang customer service to get advice and established the unit had failed. After supplying our details a new replacement unit was sent out by courier the next day at no charge. If other companies had such a first class work ethic as this, as displayed by Vicky, life would be a lot easier.

This company is second to none for…

This company is second to none for customer service and support. We had a problem with our control box for our sky q target system and after I sent it down to them, they had it looked at, all sorted out and straight back in the post to us the same day. Vicky in customer support kept us updated all the way and made the whole experience a joy! Thanks Maxview for all your help.

Advice and help was 1st class when my Seeker Satellite System stopped working, it is quite old.
However advice re dismantling and shipping held was readily given.
The device was returned for repair and was returned the following day.

We had a problem with our Maxview Roam router. I spoke to a very helpful member of the support team who was able to quickly diagnose the fault. A new unit was then ordered, despatched and delivered within 24 hours.
Can only praise the company for its advice and incredible service.

excellent service

phoned about vuqube not working very helpful on the phone . Sent the satellite away to them on the Saturday ,they recieved it on Tuesday and was returned to us in Central Scotland on the Friday, fixed and working well. An all round excellent service from max view and they kept us informed every step of the way .

We could not be happier with the technical support offered

We found ourselves at a loss knowing which 5G wi-fi would be suitable for our new pop-top campervan, especially with mixed messages coming from the dealer. Having researched the Maxview offering online we had a few technical queries.
Vicky in Customer Technical Support could not have been more helpful. Also, if she wasn't sure of the answer, she said so and found out from colleagues. We settled on the Maxview Roam Motorhome 5G System which our dealer finally acknowledged the van roof could accommodate and agreed to fit it for us. We could not be happier with the service we received from Maxview and are looking forward to taking delivery of the van with its new state of the art 5G wi-fi system.

Fantastic “CanDo” Support

Unfortunately I misplaced the Sim Tray while sorting out Sim issues for my MaxView on my motorhome. (probably dropped down the back of the panelling). The part isn’t on their extremely well constructed and easily searchable website. So, with foreboding that I might have to buy a complete new MaxView, I emailed customer support to see if they could supply a replacement. Within 24 hours, Vicky from MaxView Support emailed me back saying YES! They could provide a replacement! YIPPEE (my excitement 😋). The Sim Tray was shipped the very next day.
Fantastic customer support, with super-fast and very helpful communications from a “can do” attitude rarely seen these days. Well done Vicky, customer support team and MaxView. You go straight to the top of my list of my preferred suppliers.

It didn't work
Bought item number H87020 and paid £5 for it. It didn't work. Called the TV engineer who arrived on site today, he took one look at the product and immediately sent his co-worker to the van for some co-ax lead. He made up a lead in a few minutes whilst explaining that these leads are useless (I know that now) and had the TV working in five minutes. It cost me £55 for the visit. I called Maxview but they don't answer, just send you on a continuous loop of recorded messages. And, the best bit, the item bought yesterday won't be refunded because we didn't keep the packaging we destroyed to get at the cable. What's that all about?

Hello, these leads have been selling for many many years with very negligible amount of complaints. If you contact us we will have happily sent you a new one out without any argument

The reason for the continuous loop you received via phone was due to a area-wide Openreach issue which was ongoing for a few days during that time.

Regarding the refund, we can't control what retailers decide as their returns policy but as I said above we will happily send you a free replacement.

Because simply this is not where we handle customer support queries. If you contacted our support and they would have sent a replacement without argument the same day. Fair enough the phone wasn’t working that day but there’s also email and chat.

Satellite repair

Purchased Maxview Sky Q Auto Skew Satellite system 23 June 2020. For my Caravan. Absolutely no problem until recently when system would not lock onto satellite. Spoke to Maxview and arrangement were made to take the caravan to the factory at Kings Lyn on 27 Nov 2023. Arrived that morning and the Technicians were brilliant with the diagnosis and soon sorted the problem out. I have no hesitation in recommending Maxview for their systems,Support and customer service.

Maxview Mobile Satellite

Last week I had occasion to return my Sky Q satellite box to Maxview for a reset after my failed attempt at updating it.

I posted it to them on the 1st of November. They received it on the 2nd of November and by the 4th of November it was back with me and installed in the van fully working.

I would like to commend Maxview on this remarkably efficient service.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Our router had a fault when it arrived and Vicky was super helpful over the phone to resolve the issue successfully. It was great to be able to call back and speak with the same person throughout the problem solving. The antenna works well and we have had great signal so far in Pyrenees and Alps. The phone app to view the router activity can be a little slow sometimes (due to updates made on the router software which Maxview then adapt to, I believe).

I cannot speak highly enough of this company they are so helpful over the phone and the service they provide when dealing with any fault is the best.

Maxview seeker 85cm…

In May 2013 I had a Maxview seeker 85cm automatic dish fitted to the roof of my new motorhome. I had an issue after 4 years when the LNB went faulty. It was replaced free of charge even though the system was well out of warranty.

A few years ago, I updated the 2nd LNB using a kit provided by Maxview, to enable me to use Sky Q. Which is just brilliant as I tour Europe and love to take Sky with me. I have found that all channels are available until you cross the Pyrenees when you lose the likes of BBC/ITV etc, but all the premium Sky channels are still there and the vast majority of the other like Gold/Discovery etc.

Over the years, Sky have changed how they transmit their “locator” beam which is how systems like mine auto find the satellite. Each time, Maxview are all over it and send out new firmware to keep things on track. This is the reason I have decided now write this review….Stuck in Spain with the satellite not locking on on 12th Sept, I daw on the website Sky had changed things around again. I contacted Vicky at Maxview (who is brilliant by the way having dealt with her previously) and the matter was sorted in five minutes.

The bottom line is this, the company is probably the best I have ever dealt with. My British made satellite system is still going strong over 10 years after it was fitted, having survived 72,000 miles of the worse roads the UK & Europe could throw at it.

I wholeheartedly recommend this company and their products to you.

Great customer service.

I inherited the Maxview system when I purchased my motorhome and I have been using it for two years trouble free. Last week it went offline so I contacted customer service who answered the phone in just a few rings and the operator talked me through downloading an update and installing it. All good. It's so rare to get this level of service. Thank you.

I recently purchased the Maxview Roam X…

I recently purchased the Maxview Roam X from a company in Germany (not available in France where I live).
However, when it came I was missing the roof clamp.

I called the company in Germany and they asked that I send photos of the contents of the box in order to receive a roof clamp.

I decided to call Maxview in the UK after the fitter suggested it. I called and to my surprise not a problem, they would ship me the part at no cost to myself.

It arrived this morning a few days after the call.

Thankyou Vicky and all the helpful people in customer services.

MAXVIEW POOR QUALITY PRODUCT & DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I bought a Maxview Roam X & having only used it three times the SIM1 card slot has disintegrated. As it is less than a year old, I returned the unit for repair only to be told it can not be repaired & the issue was caused by user error. This is simply not true! I have inserted cards into both SIM1 & SIM2 slots with no problems with slot 2. I am always extremely careful when inserting or removing SIM cards from any of my equipment & haven't had any issues with any other items I use. On inspection, the SIM card holders are very delicate plastic sliders which simply collapse through normal use. The delicate unit was returned via courier in a basic Jiffy bag giving very little protection & I have yet to plug it in to see if any transit damage has occurred. Fingers crossed there. I am now stuck with a router with only one slot that works & wondering how long before the remaining slot breaks leaving me with a useless piece of rubbish. This is extremely bad after care service from Maxview, I'm extremely disappointed & would advise any potential customers to avoid this product. It is a shame Maxview don't stand by their product & carry out warranty repairs as they should.

It can be the case that the SIM tray has been damaged, if this has not already been resolved I would recommend to send us the router for the attention of Ben as discussed on Trustpilot and I will make sure that the router is inspected specifically with the SIM trays in mind, if there is any fault we will happily replace the router without quibble.
