I won't dwell on the slow delivery, the awful product quality and the appalling customer service provided by this company, you can get that from other reviews on here. What I will say is if you request a return and the company refuses your request on the grounds that the item was "made to order", as they tried to do with us, stick to your guns as they have no right to do that. The company can legally refuse a return if a product is made to a customer's specification, i.e. made-to-measure, or customised with a logo etc., but if all you do is select from a list of pre-defined sizes, as we did for a throw, you have the right to a refund. Check out the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and the associated government guidelines and insist on a refund.

Don't let this company get away with denying you your legal rights.

Garbage quality. Garbage customer service. Ordered a throw on July 29, didn't arrive until mid-October. Not a peep from customer service until I chased them up...repeatedly. When it finally arrived, the quality of the material and craftsmanship was so poor, I asked to return it for a refund, only to be told that this standard-sized throw was considered 'bespoke' and not eligible for a return. On top of it all, I got a $33 invoice from the shipper to cover customs duty. Do not waste your time or money on this company.

I placed an order with this company and have been left extremely disappointed. Despite waiting an excessive amount of time, my order has still not been delivered. Communication has been poor, and there was no clear indication at the time of purchase that the wait would be this long.

This experience feels misleading and frustrating, and I have since taken my business elsewhere. I would strongly recommend that future customers think carefully before ordering, as transparency and reliability are clearly lacking here.

Ordered a sample of material, everything went okay. Went on website to make an order. Nothing populated so couldn't order. I emailed explaining, no reply. Rang, no reply. I'm shopping elsewhere.

Cannot fault them! Rosie gave me excellent assistance with measuring and I had 5 x curtains made to order and delivered within a week. Fabulous quality.

I wrote a review 5 days ago about customer service ignoring my emails and telephone voice mails. Apparently you cannot talk to humans. I have sent 3 further e mails about receiving only one table runner when I ordered and paid for 2. No replies. I have purchased from them before and the customer service was excellent. I spoke to a very helpful lady and she was able to replace my cushion insets promptly. Originally they sent ones that were too large for my cushions. I will never use this company again. They have my money and do not answer emails or voice mails. It’s shoddy customer service. Think twice before using them.

I ordered a duck egg throw which I paid over £60 for it. When it arrived it didn’t look right and I didn't think the quality was great it was really shiny I contacted the company on the day it arrived over a month ago for a refund. Was told the company don't refund as its bespoke . This isn't made to measure and by law there should be a 28 day return policy. Be careful when you purchase anything from the company as you wont get your money back . Shocking customer service . Lets see if i get a reply now 🧐

We bought couple years ago all the curtains for our new house you can imagine the price but very happy - this year we did our guest house and ordered again from this company before we place the order I’ve asked how long we will received the blinds the answer was 10 days to 15 days max after your purchase it was an fair answer- and obviously if I have asked this question it because we had guests to stayed- We gave everything for the measurements from the purchase link - a week later we had a phone call saying we need to give again the measurements for the chain - 2 weeks later no blinds . Meaning 4 weeks later today nothing from the purchase date
What a poor customer services - do you think they will call you to apologise and give you a date of the delivery?? No - we had to call !! they have the money then they don’t care.
Big shame for them as we do have another building coming soon and we will have to do all the house with curtains and blinds - I will buy everything from another company more serious …. So disappointed and upset.
Obviously now they will found an excuse to reply from my comments and my experience and it will be not their fault! Just give a call to your customer to explain why it take longer it could happen but just call !! Give any news why where when .

This company cancelled part of my order for no reason then didn’t have the courtesy to respond to my e-mails. The cushions that I received were ok but very overpriced.

I have purchased some cushions and doorstop for our leaving. The quality was very good, the colour was exactly what it was advertised, arrived on time.
I will be back for some more products.

The ordering process is easy and quick, great customer service before and after purchase. I had a query about the length of the cord and which measurements needed for my babies nursery blind. We had ordered a sample to get a feel for the fabric as well as the check the colour went well with the room colour. Overall great experience and great product, the material is thick and helps to keep out the draft and cold from the windows.

After browsing the site i was unsure of how to order the right curtains not only in terms of fabric but also making sure i measured correctly. Customer service could not have been more helpful. They listened to what my colour choices were sent me samples to I could select in my home and talked me through the measurements step by step. My curtains have now arrive and they look amazing. Defiantly recommend definitely will buy more.

I can only go in my experience with McAlister textiles. TBH it was 1st class
Advised of time(s) to produce item(s) and delivery ETA. All within the time frames,oh yeah and good communication from vendor too.
The courier service let the company down! However, I can't blame them for that as EVRI one knows they are not the best.
As for the cushion covers, now that is a different story, well worth the wait, beautifully made, the weight and quality of the fabric and the finish is truly sublime. Definitely would be a returning customer if something on their website catches my eye. Many thanks, Michael

This is the worst company I've dealt with for ages. I placed an order on 18th November and now, 20th December I still don't have the goods. I've made 5 phone calls to them and they haven't returned the ones where I was forced to leave a message because they don't have a manned phone line.
They eventually (after 24 days) provided an Evri tracking number. But this doesn't seem to be anything to do with my order, and I can't get any info from them other than to contact the supplier. So I did that, and guess what? No response from McAlister. So they have the goods and my money. Don't touch these guys.

I ordered a fabric sample cost £1.41 and paid £2.95 shipping. I dont mind paying postage and I expect the company to charge a reasonable amount. When it is a flimsy square of fabric, no heavier than a normal letter, I do not expect to be ripped off. In the follow up email im told that for my very expensive postage it will take 8-10 days. I know its only a small amount but when I know that I am being ripped off it stings. They did not reply to an email I sent them asking to show me justification for the charge. I assume that is because they cant.

Having now received a reply to my original review, i have been told how the sample can cost so much. Therefore, having received the reply to my query, I thank Mcalister Textiles for their explanation and would like to correct my initial review. The explanation fully explains why the sample costs so much and I can now see that the price charged by Mcalister is a reasonable one and unavoidable for them. I have also ordered around 42mtrs of fabric from them once I received the samples they sent out. I will happily have no issue with ordering from them again. The fabric I received was wonderful quality and beautiful colour.
