DISHONESTY AT ITS FINEST

They are snakes at this Ford establishment. I had my engine light come on. It was to replace the camshaft positioning sensor. After replacing it the engine light came back on. My mechanic couldn't understand what was going on because the same code kept popping up for the positioning sensor which he fixed. I figured I would bring it into Ford. These people gave me a estimate over 9 thousand dollars saying all these things were wrong with my car and that a bunch of codes came up. I thought it didnt make sense because I didn't see any codes pop up when I ran multiple different code readers, only camshaft positioning sensor kept coming up. I started reading up on the light and Google told me that sometimes with my kind of car that before the engine light will go off it has to run a few cycles. My engine light is off and no codes are popping up and my car is running like a dream, matter of fact its running the same exact way it was when I brought it in and they gave me over a nine thousand dollar estimate . Oh yeah!..... when I said they were crazy I got a email saying the math was messed up and its actually 7k but they can do it for 6,800...let's rewind,
The day before I brought my car in some one from Ford called me and asked if I wanted to sell my car. I said no straight away. They don't make my car anymore and I love my car no thanks. To me it sounds like they were trying to scare me into selling my car. Honestly after this experience not only will I NEVER go back to this place but I will no longer be supporting Ford. 6,800 dollars worth of problems just vanished. Thank God im not a sucker and can see dishonesty a mile away because if I was a sucker. I would've sold the car or handed them almost 7k and they literally wouldn't have needed to do anything to it. I was told that in order to get the engine light off, I would have to replace everything that was in the estimate. I did ZERO to my car and the light is off. Shame on you McGovern Ford!
