Delivery not respected

Delivery not respected: paid for home delivery, but the package was dropped off at a pickup point with no delivery attempt at all.

But the worst part is the customer service: very hard to reach, and when you finally get a response, it’s completely off-topic. No real understanding of the issue, no concrete help, and no willingness to offer any solution.

Honestly unacceptable. I do not recommend at all.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. Tiny silicone "o-ring" had come loose / been lost somehow meaning the bottle leaked. Apparently they don't provide / sell replacements for these (what about the right to repair / environmental considerations??).
The "best" they could do (after I complained) was to offer 10% off a new cap, which after their shipping coats would have cost £2 more than a brand new Camelbak bottle of the same type!!!
This effectively means they are sell disposable bottles, in the event that anything goes wrong with their products. Looking at other reviews I can see I'm not alone, I wish I'd seen these before I bought what I though was a premium product made to last that the company would stand behind

Extremely disappointed

I purchased a CamelBak reservoir which unfortunately failed on its very first use due to a slow leak.

When I contacted customer service, they were polite and responsive, and even acknowledged in their correspondence that the product had failed on first use. However, they required a photo clearly showing the fault before they would consider a replacement. As the leak was slow and the item had already been misplaced, this wasn’t something that could realistically be demonstrated.

After this experience, I looked into reviews and found a number of other customers reporting similar leaking issues, which is quite concerning.

It’s disappointing that no resolution was offered for a product that failed immediately. I would be open to revisiting this if the company is able to provide a more flexible outcome.

Terrible Customer Service

I purchased something weeks before a trip, was told that they cannot tell me when I will receive my package due to warehouse changes. I accepted the situation and asked to cancel my order as it had not been processed. I was not allowed to cancel my order. Terrible customer service.

Poor quality, leaking product and awful customer service

I was gifted a cambelbak leak proof insulated mug last year. Brand new.

It has leaked from day one, with liquid coming out of the back just with a quick tilt.

I contacted camelbak and they have acknowledged that it’s a genuine product, and less than a year old, so still within the warranty, but they won’t replace it.

No more replacments

Everyone in the family uses Eddy bottles for years now and the kids sometimes chew through the bite valves. Went online to get a few replacements and they no longer sell the replacement valves and I can't even get a new Eddy bottle.

Customer service in France was quick to respond but offered no solution other than to buy new bottles from the Thrive range! The whole purpose of getting a reusable bottle like this is so we don't have to keep replacing the plastic. How long until the Thrive range is discontinued and we have to buy another new set of bottles for the whole family.

Warranty promise has no weight.

Warranty promise has no weight.

Received a 3l camelpak for Christmas in 2023 which I have really loved using for skiing. Sadly its recently developed a slow leak where the hoze connects to the bladder and over the course of an hour leaves the bag sopping wet. Not great for skiing in sub zero conditions. But don't worry .. CamelBak advertises a lifetime guarantee. But actually they don't. Despite clearly showing a fault in the video, if you have no invoice (it was a gift), then their policy dictates no interest in supporting you. Either you stand behind your product or you don't. Seems they don't.

I wish I'd read Trustpilot reviews…

I wish I'd read Trustpilot reviews before buying another Camelbak water reservoir. It looks like they are trading on past success. I bought a new one last summer to replace one that had lasted for about 20 years. It is not a size that I use frequently and it took me some time to realise that it was leaking every time I used it due to a manufacturing fault rather than me not closing it tightly enough. When I complained, Camelbak took weeks to get back to me, then told me that they could not provide any solution to my issues as I no longer had the invoice. I advised them that they would have details of the purchase as I bought direct from their website but have received no further correspondence from them. This is very frustrating as it is an expensive item.

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. I wish I'd read some of the reviews on here before spending a lot of time trying to get a warranty claim on a bite valve for a bottle cap (an item that must cost them pennies to produce). Apparently after years of using Camelbak bottles the failed valve (sheared in half) is user error. We have many of their bottles in the house (some 5010 years old), with no issues until this one bought at the start of the year. I was anticipating a fairly straightforward warranty claim and a new valve in the post. Instead, I was patronized and told that there couldn't possibly be an issue with the product but instead with my technique. Hmmm. I'm currently developing a detailed procedure for using a Camelbak bottle which I will roll out to my wife and kids via a PowerPoint presentation and some practical demonstrations - do Camelbak have a youtube video detailing how to correctly drink from their bottles...?

Substantandard product and poor…

Substantandard product and poor customer service- the thermos mug failed lit gave up. When contacting customer service as the website said lifetime guarantee! It’s not true- it’s only valid it you buy from the manufacturer direct not a shop! The website lies! Avoid!

Poor product quality, even poorer customer service

Embarrassingly bad customer service. Product was faulty - I was offered a replacement bottle top after chasing them for weeks. They then tried to ship the bottle top to me and failed. I'm still waiting - it's now been six weeks since I first reported the issue...

What a massive letdown

Camelbak used to be great until they were bought over by Fox. Now the products are substandard, the after sales support is terrible, and their customer service (I'm talking about you, Lucia) is just rude. I will never buy another Camelbak product and will discourage anyone I know from even considering it.

Poor quality product

I bought a Camelbak water bottle in February 2025 and by May 2025 it had started leaking. I thought I was buying a quality product but clearly not. Their customer service is not great either!

Got Your Bak Lifetime Warranty..........NOT!

Over the last 10 years I have purchased three Camelbak drinking bottles and over that period of time have had to request replacement Eddy+ caps due to issues of leaking and excessive movement on the nozzle. Through the Got your Bak lifetime warranty this was usually smooth and painless and my last request was in 2022. However this month I went through the warranty claim three times as no reply was received and eventually went though Camelbak.com and have been in contact with Lucia who informs me there is no complaints department but she is the customer relations for the UK.
Lucia after many correspondents kept informing me that as the items were purchased from a dealer (Amazon Camelbak store) that they cannot replace the cap replacement under Got Your Bak lifetime warranty. Lucia told me to contact Amazon, on doing so Amazon stated that Camelbak (manufacturer) are legally obliged to cover the Got Your Bak Lifetime warranty but Amazon do cover for two years.
I e-mailed Amazons reply to Lucia informed Lucia that nowhere under the Got Your Bak warranty does it say 'invalid if purchased from a dealer' but it does say and I quote "If we built it, we'll Bak it with our lifetime guarantee"
I have now been informed that there is nothing more that Lucia from Camelbak can do even though a statement which was on my first e-mail with Lucia :Rest assured, we are committed to resolving this matter promptly and to your satisfaction".

Thank you for a very poor follow up to a product that I use to purchase regularly and will certainly not promote anymore. I am now waiting for the two other eddy+ caps to fail knowing that I will get no support or help from Camelbak.
