Recently had to return something in the letterkenny store that was outside the return window. The guy in the store couldnt have done enough to help me and on the back of that ended up buying more stuff on the same visit.

Great service

Shocking customer service at 2nd hand store. Sales assistant grunted at me and I my the price. No hello, how's things, is that everything or no goodbye. The receipt says his name was Ross McCormack. He might need another class or two of how to deal with a customer. Lost another sale as I was looking to purchase more but was put off his 'above you' attitude.
I will not be returning and advising others to do the same.

Great Experience, tips, advice and good banter from the Guys. Rury, Scott and Jamie. Know there stuff and willing to help. A golfers golfers will certainly be back. A wee mention for Kiran also who's enthusiasm and willingness to help on a quick visit brought me back in for today's visit.

I had a full custom fitting with Scott today (15/02/2026). Class from start to finish. Scott’s knowledge and expertise filled me with confidence. Amazing to see him analyse the way I hit the ball and then offer me clubs with tweaks here and there until it works! Seeing the improvements as I hit the ball is real evidence why it’s so important to get custom fitted. Scott and the staff at McGuirks are top professionals that know what they are doing. Thank you!

I visited the Kinsale road shop last Sunday February 8th. I went to the sale rail and saw a nice ladies golf top that was on sale for 50% off. I brought it to the till and the young girl on the till asked for full price. I told her the top was reduced to 50% and she said no it’s full price. I brought her attention to the sale tag on the top. She shrugged her shoulders and said it’s not on sale on the system. I told her I’d leave it. She didn’t care. Her attitude was poor. She did not bother to check with a senior member of staff. I will not be shopping at this store again. I found her rude and very unhelpful. Not good enough and thankfully I have an alternate golf shop less than ten minutes drive away from McGuirks.

I was very impressed during a recent visit to the Edinburgh store. I had excellent service and advice from Scott, which led to the purchase of Taylor Made clubs.

Online ordering
First order I did was fine as it was click and collect.
My second order was online order delivery to my house.
Their website says orders placed before noon would be delivered next working day in most cases.
I ordered on a Wednesday between 5-6pm, expecting to get my order on Friday.
On Monday I checked the tracking and the order is still sitting with the courier and no update.

I contacted MCGuirks, they can see that my order has not been delivered and still with DPD. They implied that DPD hadn't delivered it because they couldn't contact me but I have been at home waiting and checking tracking details
When I requested a refund they said they have to request the package back from courier and once they get my order back it will be 2-3 days before I get a refund.

Going forward I will be doing click and collect and not online order for delivery based on my experience

McGuirks were great in sorted out my query regarding an order. Have just placed a new order over the weekend and is being delivered Monday, today. Great service.

While visting Wexford I brought my Son to McGuirks Golf Wexford Town for a driver fitting which was booked with Ryan . I have to say his attention to detail , time and patience was first class , nothing was a problem .
After trying out various drivers my son Settled on a Ping G4 40 MAX which Ryan has ordered and arranged for me to collect in McGuirks of Galway in a few weeks . Ryan is a credit to McGuirks of Wexford and it was an excellent experience . Thank you Ryan and all the best Gavin.

I have been buying every golf item I have from McGuirks since John McGuirk was originally in Howth Golf Club. I have never had a bad experience. Staff are knowledgeable, supportive and very helpful.

I visited the Galway store this week with my son who has recently taken up Golf. The new store looked fantastic with everything a beginner golfer could need. My son was looking for a new putter and wedges. We met David who was delighted to help us and guide us. I have limited knowledge of golf so having somebody who knew what my son required was great. He got a new odyssey putter and 2 macgregor wedges on the day. To say he has fallen in love with the putter would be an understatement. I highly recommend going in there. You won’t be disappointed as there is lots of deals.

I recently bought a set of Taylormade irons there must say that the service is absolutely brilliant. The employees were very helpful and mannerly.
Had great knowledge and answered all my questions without hesitation.
Would highly recommend this shop.

I recently bought a cobra rad speed driver which broke a few days after being used,I lodged a complaint on this website and then they reached out and offered me a full replacement, fair play great comeback

Ordered a set of TaylorMade clubs and Sketchers golf shoes, late on Monday evening. Scoured the internet for weeks beforehand to make sure I was getting good value. They were shipped early the very next morning and I had them the morning after that. They had clearly been packaged with great care and arrived in immaculate condition. Seemless. Cheers lads!
