We have a great experience with Robert. Very honest, and very kind. Robert knows the property well, and didn't talk more than necessary. Robert is super friendly and very responsive. The viewing schedule was set up in a few mins. One of the best viewing experience we have had since we start searching for our new home.

Very rude service. I was on my way to the viewing but got stuck in traffic, so when Jake, an employee at McMahon called, I informed him I would be late. He right away cancelled my viewing and said to me, quoted "It is your problem, not mine". I don't say I'm right for being late, but I felt disrespected by the way he talked to me. I wouldn't feel disrespected if he had suggested to reschedule the viewing or be more understanding. Moreover, he would still be there for another viewing so I asked whether I can view the place with that person. In the past I have had cases where the agent was late and they did this as long as everyone agreed. If there was a strict policy for this, an explanation would be better than saying no straight away. Even though I like the place from the website, I would not go for a viewing after being treated like this

All individuals I interacted with at McMahon have been exceedingly helpful and friendly. They make sure they have found the solution for you if there is trouble with anything in the flat. They have also been patient with my situation. Shoutout to Louise for being such a good person and helpful everytime I spoke to her.

Lived for 5yrs in a rented property managed by McMahon & Partners. Found the property management services to be top notch, the team is responsive and was always able to resolve issues in a timely manner. Special mention to Louise C who was the main point of contact, friendly and professional; understood things from a tenant's perspective

McMahon have always been helpful and professional.

I was moving into a new property and McMahon was the estate agent managing the property. The team was friendly, responsive and approachable while we were reviewing properties and finalising the paperwork (thanks Jake/Louise). There was an issue with the electricity in the flat (not due to their fault) but they were great at informing in advance me of the issue and doing their best to resolve it (which they managed to do - thanks Rhiannon/Sean). They were also flexible in arranging certain furniture to be removed from the property.

2023 UPDATED: thought it time to update this as I am still a customer. I have had to continually relied on McMahon’s expertise, experience and support over the last few years and it’s been without incident. They are always easy to contact and as an independent local operation they really care about every customer and are so much nicer to deal with than the big chain guys . I recommend.

I choose McMahon as I like the staff. They are generally flexible and friendly, and will go out of their way to help. However, the last 12 months or so have felt like their are struggling to keep on top of things. Some of their processes would benefit from tighter controls. We received our rent late due to staff holiday which isn’t acceptable. I often have to chase for a response. I also received a late payment fine from a service company which could easily have been avoided if there had been better communication. I, choosing to stay with them for the time being but my loyalty has been tested. (In my experience there isn’t an alternative that I prefer and the big agents are much less sincere and flexible, with all kinds of charges and added extras.)

I found them to be both dishonest and lazy. They seem to think that their role is to advertise the house and nothing more. Their service was appalling.
They also tried to renege on a verbal agreement we had - the very reason I chose to list with them in the first place.

Hidden fees, unanswered emails.
I had a complaint procedure lasting for 5 months, which led to surrender from the tenancy in the end.
When I visited their office in person, the director was shouting at me and ordered me to leave his office.
He ran after me and continued shouting even from the entrance when I was already on the street.

On the note, the developer's company has dissolved almost two years ago, so they could never contact me. Also, I am filing a court case against McMahon & Partners right after The Property Ombudsman has finished its investigation against them.)

I have been working with McMahon & Partners (McMahon) in different capacities for four years now. In the first two years, McMahon was managing my building; the last two years McMahon was managing my tenancy. Employees at McMahon are professional, trustworthy and helpful. They are also transparent and honest, very communicative whenever I needed answers. I have many examples of such experiences, the most recent one took place this week (10 Feb 2020).

McMahon needed access to my home to conduct an annual boiler service. I was given over two weeks notice to confirm. Prior to the service I was concerned that my dog will be upset so McMahon offered for me to nominate a colleague of my choice to accompany the visit. I nominated Louise or Jasmine as they are both familiar with my dog. Louise arranged for my service to be the first one that morning so that I don't worry throughout the day. On the day of the service, Jasmine kept me updated on the phone from the moment she entered my flat, throughout the visit to the moment they left. The visit was only 20 minutes but I really appreciated how caring and considerate they were. My fellow pet owners would understand my concerns, to have such service is really above and beyond what I imagined. I can confirm that my dog didn't get stressed at all, he just watched from the sofa :)

I have worked with many estate agents and I have never experienced such caring and personal service. This is going above and beyond what is expected.

I have been using property management company's for many years and McMahon & partners are head and shoulders above the rest. For service and a knowledge of the market I wouldn't go anywhere else.
