The transition of my regular pharmacy in Claregalway to McSharrys in early Dec’22 appears to be a chaotic one with customer service simply not a priority for staff - I can well understand the teething problems of any business transition however this change over is now almost 2 months and every time I visit there seems to be a new team of pharmacists - I’m sure McSharrys are trying to appoint a more permanent team however in the meantime they should stop making excuses about inventory shortages and reduce the waiting times on prescriptions - one item on my prescription was not filled and was not communicated to me, it was only when I pointed it out to the assistant she then said they did not have it in stock - today I was offered a pack of 60 Neilmed sinus rinse (€22) when my perscription requested just a weeks supply (14 pack) I was told no stock of smaller packs but again this was not explained until I asked pharmacist- this standard is not acceptable, McSharry management need to take accountability and communicate to customers when they expect to achieve a stable and customer focused service - they should not assume that ‘existing customers’ they have inherited owe them any loyalty until they deliver acceptable service levels.

When there was an issue with a faulty product (not McSharrys fault) Michelle was an absolute dream to deal with in arranging a refund. Her customer service was excellent.

Prompt delivery, fast checkout, great selection of Medik8 products particularly Crystal Retinal. I started with retinal 8 then progressed to 10 and now I use Retinal 20. The Medik8 vitamin c is the best I have come across it goes on like velvet and leaves the skin so smooth.
