I visited Toby in Portishead to have a blocked ear suctioned. Toby was very friendly, professional and answered any questions I had as it was my first time. Needless to say I can hear out of both ears clearly again!

Excellent service, same day appointment. My son got play doh in his ears ar nursery took him a&e and they couldn't take it out and said to wait for an ENT appointment and they could take it out with general anaesthetic, this seemed like an awful lot of fuss for play doh. Did a search and found this place called at 10 and got an appt at 12 and it was out from both ears in 10 mins.

Mr Meadows was very helpful and patiently listened to and answered my questions.
It was clear that he wanted to do his best for me.

Efficient, timely, friendly service

I phoned around 9.30 am to see if they could fit me in that day because I was in so much discomfort and the lovely lady got me in at 12 o'clock I was in and sorted out with the best care I could wish for, thankyou again.

I was seen on the same day I called about a middle ear infection. They done an ear health check. When it has cleared up I’m booking to have my tinnitus looked at. Very professional service.

I had a micro suction procedure today. It was fast and painless. Claire explained how it would work and I’m delighted with the outcome. Charlie the puppy in reception was also a lovely distraction as I was a little anxious when I arrived. Anyway, no hesitation in recommending Claire and Toby.

I had a problem with excessive wax in my ears to the extent that I was unable to hear even when wearing my hearing aids. I have used the Meadows and Wood Practice 12/14 month ago at Portishead and was very happy with the way that my problem at the time was solved. On Monday I had an appointment at The Bristol Eye Hospital but with my hearing totally blocked I was considering cancelling it. I was able to get an emergency appointment with Claire that morning and thanks to her experience with deaing with my type of problem she was able to clear my ears which enabled me to hear again. Claire was very
professional in dealing with my problem and I would recommend Meadows & Wood to everyone who has hearing problems as one of the best hearing practice I have been to in the past 10 years
