Poor delivery service
Ordered the iberican pork rack x 2. It arrived 2 days later than scheduled and thawed. The second time this has happened. Meatmeathome really good about it and promised a replacement delivery for yesterday which has not arrived. The meat is delicious but your courier is letting you down. Badly.

Great customer service
I can't yet comment on the quality of their products, but I was very pleased with their customer service. The parcel company was not able to deliver my package in time for the meat to still be safe due to the Christmas holidays and all their backlog. However, Alina from the support team kept in touch with me every step of the way, from the first delay all the way to the cancellation. It's unfortunate that I wasn't able to get my order, but my experience was greatly improved by their helpful communication.

Sukiyaki beef - avoid
The regular sukiyaki beef was unevenly cut (varies from 2mm to 5mm) and too tough to eat. Would not recommend this. Previously ordered the Japanese Wagyu which was fine.
30 Nov Edit: MMAH called after I left this review. The person did not seem to know very much about the situation and I got the feeling that their job was just to call me to say "we'll pass the feedback on to the butcher" and "we'll refund you," which they did. They have made sure I reflect this in my review. ;)

Because of the pleasant brows though the Website, we decided to order from meatmeathome.....So glad we did, we have already eaten the goat ribs which were lovely, but we are keeping out suckling pig for Christmas.

Perfect meat
I ordered the Iberico Pork Presa and it was amazing. The cooking instructions on the website meant it was cooked perfectly. It came in good time, will more than likely be ordering from here again!

The meat quality is so bad
The meat quality is so bad. We spent a total of GBP 234 to order the following items -
1) 1x Whole Australian Wagyu Oyster Blade BMS 3-5 (±2.7kg; £43.35/kg; Chilled) for £117.00 each
2) 2x Pork Shabu-Shabu / Sukiyaki (±500g) for £9.00 each
3) 2x Beef Chadolbagi (500g) for £17.00 each
4) 1x Japanese Wagyu Beef Shabu-Shabu / Sukiyaki (±200g) for £36.00 each
5) 1x Beef Shabu Shabu / Sukiyaki (±500g) for £29.00 each
Except the Whole Australian Wagyu Oyster Blade BMS 3-5 and Japanese Wagyu Beef Shabu-Shabu, the quality of the rest of the items is unacceptable. The colour of the pork and beef is in dark brown colour. By the colour of the meat you could tell they had been stored for years. It is not worth to buy at all. We will never purchase from this website again.

We have very strict procedures in place when it comes to the packing and storing of our products to ensure we are in line with the most up to date health and safety legislation.
Because of the nature of the product, the colour of the meat does sometimes differ, which we do monitor and communicate to our producers.

Not Fresh! Poor Value!
I have ordered a duck, lamb legs and steak. The duck was produced over a year ago; the lamb legs and steak have been produced 8 months ago.
Please following the food safety guideline as hollandbarrett. I have called the customer services; they have rejected for replacement or refund and insisted that the meat are safe to eat! Never order from them in future.

What you refer to in the comment above is not shelf life, but production dates, which have little to do with durability. The frozen products you bought from us were all well within their shelf life as labelled on individual packs, therefore the meat was safe to consume.
Our company strives to provide the highest quality meat, and I can assure you we never sell anything past a product's durability date.
