Very reasonable price for the product I purchased. Very fast delivery and when I had an issue with one if the products that I had purchased the customer service was fantastic in letting me return it simply and sending me a replacement quickly. I would definitely recommend Mech Lite.

They did everything I required and delivered the exact item within the dates quoted.

I ordered a Chubb Window lock at a very economical price and with an excellent delivery time.Dunderhead me couldnt get it to work so Mechlinte sent a replacement with out any quibble. Great service from a great company.

I purchased the same Fulton and bray door knobs from another retailer, I asked for a possible multi purchase discount but the company didn't oblige. I purchased 5 sets from them. I managed to source the same crystal door knobs fulton and bray from mechlite, 30% less expensive! without even asking for a multi buy discount it is already applied with each increase, I purchased 5 from mechlite, fantastic, efficient service, will undoubtedly use again.

ordered bulk catches to get FREE NEXT DAY DELIVERY. ordered before 8am. needed catches next day so i ordered from this company. found out the next day that they are only just sending them out. poor customer service. wont be using again.

Ordered the door closure fitting at a very reasonable price late one afternoon. All went smoothly with the ordering with very fast acknowledgment email .
Item despatched when they said it would be on very efficient tracked delivery service.
Email received from the carrier giving a time slot for delivery second day after ordering.
Item arrived well within the stated time.
What more could anyone want?

I decided to fit a magnetic lock for entry to an outbuilding, together with a weatherproof keypad, all running off a 12 volt supply, so needed various components all of which were available from Mechlite and were much cheaper than any other source I could find. The package was delivered the next day after ordering. Mechlite use a courier that informs you of your one-hour delivery slot at the beginning of the day, and it is even possible to track the location of the delivery driver online. This is much better than waiting in all day for a delivery with no idea of when it is likely to take place as is the case with many other couriers..

Checked out several websites, good price, called helpful staff to check stock and sent out next day. Item well packed on arrival.

Having selected the model that I liked, I shopped around for the best price. MechLite was the best deal, once delivery, etc was considered.

I spoke to them with the online chat typing option and it worked well. We discussed delivery options, including deliver to the curb or deliver and place in the house. Due to price, I chose delivery to the curb.

I placed my order and made it clear on the order (as well has having mentioned it in the chat session) that I would require to know the delivery date ahead of time, so that I could make sure I was in to take delivery. I also asked if I could be called on the day of delivery to give an ETA, or be called an hour before my slot, so that I could organise some help to move the 250kg item from the pavement inside the house.

Several days had passed and no dispatch or delivery advice had been given. Then there was a knock at the door at 8am, just as I was about to leave for work. The safe was on a pallet ready for me!

The delivery driver was superb and did way more than he was obligated to. Between he and I, with ten minutes of frantic prep work and a lot of heaving and pushing and struggling with the safe on a hoist/trolley, I got it inside the building and somewhere that it was reasonable for it to stand until it could be moved to its final location.

At that point, a shower was needed and a change of clothes, so I was late for work.

A couple of hours or so later, MechLite called me to say they had followed up with Burton safes to see when the safe was going to be dispatched ex-works and were alarmed to be told it was that day and it had in fact already been dropped off at just after 8am!

They were very apologetic and it is clear that MechLite were badly let down by Burton safes. Fortuanely, it all worked out. However, I had I been a middle aged or less fit person, or not at home, etc, then things would have gotten quite tricky quite quickly.

The safe itself is perfect. MechLife - your supplier isn't helping you - you should speak to them about this before they start to cost you customers, etc!

I understand fully that a delivery time request is not something many logistics companies offer (some do, Burton could chose to drop-ship with one of those).

However, even a delivery date would have been of great help.

Had I been told the day before 'It will be here some time tomorrow' then I can plan for that. You will see that a delivery date of 'It's there already' on the day is not something that can be planned around.

I don't blame MechLife as you don't have direct control over it and you acted as well as could have been hope for given the circumstances.

I would indeed use MechLite again but would have to take careful consideration as to how to deal with unplanned deliveries, in case this happened again.

I had no problem with the ordering of this sturdy case and it was delivered very quickly. Excellent service.

I was impressed with the service, I ordered the goods the day before, I got an acknowledgement by text stating the delivery time and even the drivers name who on the day turned up 5 minutes into the one hour pre advised delivery window, great service “Thanks MechLite
