Their inventory tracking is a joke
Their inventory tracking is a joke. You order something expecting it to arrive when they said it would. On the day it‘s supposed to arrive you get an email that the item isn‘t actually in stock and they don‘t know when you will get it.
How is their inventory management this bad? In 2025? When all other competitors seem to manage this and be cheaper most of the time.

Today I wanted to buy an Apple Macbook from Mediamark Aarau. Although the stated price was 966 francs, they imposed compulsory insurance for 200 francs. I wanted to pay only the fee for it. However, they told me that this would not be possible and that I would have to pay the 200 francs as well. They forced me to buy an Apple Macbook. This is a legal action against consumer rights. I was forced to buy a product. I demand that the necessary action be taken against those who victimized me.

Completely unfriendly personal !
My wife ordered a laptop from the Mediamarkt online shop and I went to pick it up with the document they sent to the email.
But the personal in the online pickup service was completely unfriendly !
They told your wife has to be here.
I tell here is my ID and here is my ID they said NO
I told, you have the number from my wife you can call and ask if I can pick up for her, they said NO
and also in an unfriendly way !
Only thing they say is NO NO NO
They are definitely not solution oriented at all and no more online ordering from Mediamarkt !!!

I purchased an S25 Ultra early August…
I purchased an S25 Ultra early August 31 for 1149CHF. Less than two weeks later the price dropped to 899CHF. I contacted MediaMarkt, asking if they would give a refund - even if not the full difference in price, but no response. The customer should have some rights here when there is a large drop in price like this. We are not all made of money!

Prices are high, but Gift Cards keep me coming back
Mediamarkt.ch is always reliable in terms of service and product availability.
However, their prices are clearly higher than the market average. I only shop here because I have gift cards... otherwise, I’d definitely look elsewhere for better deals.
