Despite being at an age when I have faced many challenges, the thought of eye surgery for my cataracts was daunting. However Harry Roberts and his team are professional, personable and caring. From Tara the Clinic Co-ordinator who also manages the diary, to Tom and Nadine who perform the eye tests and pre-op checks, to Emma who informs, instructs, checks understanding, makes coffee after surgery, and even rang me on a Friday afternoon to see if all was well post-surgery; this is a First Class team. Harry Roberts is a hugely skilled surgeon totally on top of his game, never patronising nor dismissive of any concern or query. He and his team are simply excellent, and together with my Galaxy Toric lenses they have given me a new lease of life without the need for the spectacles I have worn for 56 years. Although sadly I can now see very clearly just how old I look!

I had a cataract removed here by Mr Harry Robert’s assisted by his brilliant team.
Everyone was so friendly and Harry Robert’s was second to none! He came and introduced himself asked me what music i liked! He put on some Motown music and carried out the surgery and told me on every step what he was doing.
The whole thing was carried out within about 25 minutes and afterwards I was given a cup of tea and a chat with aftercare instructions from a lovely very knowledgable young man called Albert
All the staff here are so caring and professional and the whole process was amazing. Highly recommended

I had bilateral cataract surgery performed by Mr Harry Roberts. During the initial consultation Mr Roberts thoroughly examined my eyes and agreed with my optician that bilateral surgery was the best option for me. He carefully explained the pros and cons of the surgery and answered all my questions. The operation took place within a short time. On the appointment day the staff were all friendly, professional and supportive. Mr Roberts performed the operation on the first eye, explaining everything that he was doing. I felt very relaxed. He then asked if I was happy to go ahead with the second eye, and when I agreed, Mr Roberts explained that the staff would all leave the operating theatre for a few minutes to change their scubs to avoid any cross contamination. I was very impressed with this. After the surgery was completed, I was given a cup of coffee, while a member of the team carefully explained the regime of drops, after care etc. I was concerned that as I had my operation on Maundy Thursday there would be no available staff over the Easter period in case of emergency. Mr Roberts kindly gave me his personal number in case I should need advice. This was not needed, but was very reassuring. My follow up appointment was also excellent. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Harry Roberts and all the team at The Medical Eye Clinic in Exeter.

I had a blepharoplasty & Ptosis repair in January.. a very professional service & I felt very cared for at every stage. I had expected it to be painful but honestly it didn’t hurt at all!! Now 2 months on all the swelling has gone & I love the fact I can see my eyes again & my peripheral vision has also improved .. nice little extra bonus! Highly recommend Ioana!!

After paying £426pounds for two pairs of glasses an immediately realising they did little or nothing to improve my vision returned glasses and requested ( a request most reputable oticians would agree to with no quibble).Mr Kundi refused and after a lot of disagreements he grudgingly refunded £100.think carefully before using him as if you are not satified you would get no satisfactory resolution

I have had two operations to remove cataracts at the Medical Eye Clinic and received excellent treatment both times.
Both operations took place during the Covid19 pandemic and the safety procedures were first class, with a feeling of safety and reassurance throughout.
My sight is now very good and I would recommend The Medical Eye Clinic without reservation.
