...I would call this company a fraudster.
Looking up reviews on Amazon you will find a lot of similar reviews.
The response of the company is just a standardized nonsense what does not relate to the actual case.
Their business model seems to be ignoring people.
No customer service at all. Very typical for many German companies.
Book arrived 18 days later. Book looked like second hand - faded pages. Front cover of the book different from what I have ordered. The book is advertised on amazon.de as English edition. I received a German edition.
Seller accept return only in 48 hours but refuse to pay for the return.
Advice - stay away from fraudsters

Easy process, fantastic selection of books, wonderful prices.

The parcel arrived with all three items (two books and a Blu-ray) damaged. After a little glue and in a book press for three days, the two books seem to be... OK. But honestly, who wants to have to perform a repair job on books they just ordered?
As for the Blu-ray, the disc appears to be fine. The case arrived in several pieces though. Cases are overrated anyway, right?
A little more care in packaging probably could have solved this problem.

I cannot believe this seller's return/refund policy is legal.

When they cancel the order, they do not refund the money, but they force a voucher code on you. But as they "forget" the shipping costs, the value of the voucher code is lower than what you paid for the order. Then YOU have to take action and ask them to cancel the voucher code and give you a refund, but that is only if you are paying attention!! Because they do not inform you about the cancellation, they just send you an invoice. ONLY if you download and open the invoice, you learn that the product is not in stock, and that you were given a voucher code. It's all in small letters and easily missed and as said the price of shipping is not included in the voucher. YOU need to take action to get a refund in stead of a voucher code and even then it is not certain that you get it!

They just try to trick you and steal your time and money. I believe this is unacceptable and wrong in so many ways!

Great prices, fast delivery, good customer support. My only complaint is the lack of tracking number, but I managed even without it. Will order again, but on the home address as the postman doesn't deliver at my company.

This company will waste your time by sending the wrong item then responding with a bunch of BS through their customer service, making it difficult to get a refund.

A few months ago I ordered a Mercedes brochure book from Medimops via ZVAB, a German portal. They sent the wrong book, Orientierung Mit Karte, Kompass, GPS. I let them know this, and asked if they could send the right book. They said they could not, that I'd have to wait for it to show up again in their system then reorder, but refunded my money.

About a month ago the Mercedes book showed up again in their inventory, but at a higher price. I asked them to adjust the price to what I'd paid before. At first they said they could not understand the request. Then when I clarified, no response. Then the price came down bit by bit automatically. When it got close to what I paid before, I ordered the book again from them.

They sent the exact same wrong book. I now have two copies of the Orientierung book. When I let them know this they said that the ISBN must be the same and they always include a note in their listings about possibly sending a different version of the book. In my initial letter I'd stated the ISBNs were different. They ignored this and provided a BS canned response.

Different book, different title, different subject, different language, different ISBN. Their system is broken. Their customer service is broken. I order a lot of books. This is the worst I've ever encountered.

Oh, and to get a refund this time I'm supposed to mail the book back--from the US to Germany--at my expense. That's not happening. If they do not provide a prompt refund I'll get a chargeback through my credit card.

Yesterday my friend recived an order he made on medimops. The thing is that he ordered for me the cd Lady Gaga &Tony Bennet-Love for sale. (On site available at 6.99 euro). Unfortunately,this is the only cd from the order that is MISSING. Most of it, medimops replaced Lady Gaga cd with one of Daniel Levi, an artist i've never heard in my entire life, an album that my friend and i didn't even ask for! Shame on medimops for doing this kind of crap! Is really disrespectfull!!! don't know what happened with Lady Gaga cd and why on earth should we pay for a product that never came and it was replaced with a cd that we didn't order!

Ordered some games that never arrived in October. Tried to get my money back in December with customer service and today (March) I still didn't receive any refund in my bank account.

Bookjackers, liars, cheats, they list tons of inventory they do not have and then they either don't send anything, cancel the order after an indefinite amount of time, or send another item of equivalent weight and measurement but not remotely equivalent in topic. It's usually something pathetic and insulting. They do this to a) make interest off of all the money coming in, whether they have the stock or not, and/or b) tax evade at the end of each tax year by claiming losses on orders which never existed for them to fulfill. I've reported them and will continue to do so.

For all the money in the world, I wouldn't want to be like these scumbags.

Well, despite the doubling of minimum spend % extra postage I still think you are the best second-hand book dealer. Hoeever, each time I complain about the inclusion of enormous numbers of French books under English books, I always get a polite reply that never addresses my complaint. I think you owe that to your English speaking customers

Book was never sent????
Asked 4 (!) different times what the status on the shipment is. Was told to relax and give it a few days 3 times. On the 4th try after >6 weeks, I was told that they never sent it, because the book was actually sold out.

I always receive my packages on time and the quality of the used books is quite good. Love medimops

They don't know how to serve, how to give a good service and they are lying all the time, trying to make you give up on your money. don't buy there.

Never order from them - you will never get book or refund. I order books in December , after a month they didn’t arrive and I contacted support, they wrote me : Your package is being sent to our storage in Great Britain/USA. Once a week, all returned packages are being sent to Leipzig/Germany.

I ordered books from Germany to Austria , who has storage in USA or UK … or Germany. Seems like fraud. They as well said they refund money. But support on the phone said that in the system them do not see that I ever contacted them.
