Shame on you Medisafe, taking advantage of the most vulnerable people in society.

Yup, just rated you a ONE star, would've preferred to give you zero stars had that been an option.
Your choice to start charging incredibly vulnerable users an annual fee has led me to move my medication reminders to another app that is ZERO fees.
Bye Medisafe, it was great whilst it lasted but you'll be sure to see a LOT of users jumping ship now, just check out the feedback in your ratings.... 😔

This company does NOT care about your health

Super basic functionality that costs them nothing has suddenly been completely paywalled. Life is expensive enough living with disability without also being price gouged for a handful of reminders on a phone. This app WAS great. Now it’s just a blatant money grab and clearly shows that the company doesn’t actually care about anyone’s health.

Basic functions will now be paywalled

Got a message yesterday that from Jan 1, it will be completely locked behind a paywall for those outside the US. I’m in Sweden and use it for medication reminders, nothing else, yet would have to pay for a premium subscription with functions I don’t use.
Left a 1-star review pointing that out and today I got a message that my review apparently violates Apple’s guidelines, which is ridiculous. Already found a new app.

It has its limitations

I’ve used this app for a couple of years, but it has always had its frustrations and limitations. I have finally stopped using it now that it’s going to charge me.
Much better options available online and free.

Disgusted & disappointed

i’ve used this app everyday for years and have recommended it to countless friends but have a paid subscription to forced of me i’ve immediately deleted my account and the app. this MEDICAL app was once completely free then they added a premium subscription which i didn’t understand or like but it didn’t effect me but ive been notified i have till next year to purchase a subscription to continue my use of a once FREE reputable MEDICAL app. beyond disgusted and disappointed.

Poor management to charge for medical use

I had been using this app across different platforms makes amd they are now charging for notifications above 2 meds.
I understand nothing is free but why not use adverts or even aa one off lifetime payment to get unlimited use also this is medical not some game so clearly under poor management.

Greed.

Been using the medisafe app for years, always free,so they must have been making lots of money from advertising. Now charging, it's just greed. I've uninstalled it now, using a free app, just as good.

Just deleted it today

Just deleted it today - as the paid premium version was forced on me. I can get the same alerts from NPS Medicinewise, however I need to manage the medication inventory manually

NO LONGER TOTALLY FREE

Have been using Medisafe for years as I have to take several eye drops twice a day at intervals so the app helped enormously. From today I get this message every time I go on it “ ‪You can manage up to 2 medications for free. Since you are currently managing more than 2 medications, you can either upgrade to unlock unlimited access and advanced features, or suspend some medications to continue with the free plan‬”. This comes into effect on 15th November.
Suffice to say I will now stop using this app as is no use to me anymore and am sure to many others who have more than two medications to monitor and I refuse to pay for this type of service.

Medisafe+ verify & check feedbacks on this Supplier before ordering

Dear Clients & customers, unreliable supplier. Until this moment my order placed on the 28/02/2020 (order No 110614), Order validated & account debited (48,60 Euros) on same day, but never received.Inspite of many messages exchanged with him. Customer Services (so called) are not following the Case updates & not even following their "Trouble Ticketing File" for updates..Agreed to migrate to another product as per their proposal but still no actions were taken by Medisafe. Have proposed to alter the order Items from Aniosgel hydroalcolic 85 NPC to DURAND hydroalcolic Solution, still no further actions were taken by Medisafe. They never answer to the phone. Strange they seems to be based in around Bayonne (64990 Lahonce) South of France and their phone number starts by 01 (01 83 xx xx 26.). The "Customer Service" and the SAV (Service after sale) are not at all effective, unreliable. Disappointed by their approach,Not doing any effort to solve the & honor the order delivery date.Their answer is always " apologies & submerged by work load", a fake excuse.
