It’s great tool for students as it contains many questions to practice.

The system of providing questions for a variety of topics and marks was great for revision as well as the notes provided. However, they do seem slightly different to the typical questions that come up on past papers which was a slight disappointment. But overall it is a really useful tool for students

The AI is great for when you are doing questions but it is bad when you don’t want to learn a lesson and you just want to make flashcards. I asked the AI to summarise a textbook into key details I can include on flashcards after I had completed all the questions on that topic and it just doesn’t do it and tried to make you have a lesson, always ending with a question. Having it be able to summarise the textbooks into key details for flashcards would be really useful but other than that it is really good for revision.

Amazing platform to use for studying. Its so much more than just past paper questions with its textbook feature and assistant ai understanding concepts and common exam questions has become very easy.

Was working great for a couple of months for my daughter, however we moved house and she didn’t log in for 2 weeks. When she tried to log in, the system wouldn’t allow so she reset her password. Following this, it asked her questions like she was a new user despite having an active subscription.
We emailed Medly AI who replied within minutes stating she must have previously logged in with her Apple ID - incorrect as she used a windows laptop to sign up.
They assured that somehow she now has 2 accounts with the same email address (how?!!) but they would rectify so she could log in.
This was FIVE days ago - despite initially replying within minutes!
So we are now 5 days unable to access, no response to emails. Paying money for what! I mean, it isn’t a cheap subscription.

Unacceptable - avoid at all costs.

A response stating to email, which I have done 5 times in the past week and had no reply. I have again this evening emailed with the requested information. I will update IF a response finally comes through.

This is a great website for people who wish to revise with exam questions! I would appreciate it if there were more subjects like Music GCSE or Geography GCSE but with the subjects that ARE there, Medly AI does a fantastic job explaining where you went well and what you can do to improve. Absolutely brilliant resource for science a levels. You get a wide range of exam questions for each individual topic so you feel like you are ready for the exam.

i like how it marks with ai, but sometimes the tutor is not helpful

Great and easy way to learn past paper questions. I find it even more effective than flash cards at active recall as you can retry the questions so it sticks into your memory.
Some improvements could be the ability and a feature to reset all sections at once or individual ones, so that you can re-attempt questions as many times as you want. This ensures you won’t worry about not having enough questions.
Another improvement could be if possible to add more questions to each section and subject, there are loads of past paper questions on physics and maths tutor with answers that would be amazing to have in the medley system! Other than that the site is amazing and I use it to study for my A-Level’s and it helped me achieve all A is my GCSE’s. Thanks a lot for creating the platform! And keep up the good work!

It is great, but has some major flaws. One thing I've found as a student using Medly for IGCSE sciences and other GCSE subjects is the specification is slightly inaccurate. A lot of it is post GCSE content or not right for the exam board. The questions aren't similar either and the AI often makes errors and has inconsistent marking. (for example, one answer may score 3/4 one time, then the same get 4/4 the next.) However, I have found the parts that are accurate really useful! They help understand topics but can take lots of time to get through. And I did find tests a little easier. As of right now, I would say it's not worth paying the extreme price for until these issues are fixed fully or just a few of them (specifically spec and questions). Possibly, waiting till the price goes down closer to GCSEs make it justifiable, or once the issues are fixed.
Another thing, marketing. The insane amount of false marketing is crazy. It is a good website but they're putting ads everywhere through many popular creators and pay lots of money for them to post really positive reviews, when they actually show their progress and all boxes are blank. One thing I'd appreciate is more GENUINE reviews and maybe more accurate statistics when it comes to the results.
Other than that, has been helpful in some ways but these things could be improved to make it much better!
I also would appreciate if they could get specific exam board specialists to write the questions, spec and textbooks instead of maybe generating them? (if they are). I know its an AI based platform but could do a little more human proof reading here and there.

there are textbooks so you can write your notes on them, and extensive questions on every single topic after you've read the textbook. if you're confused about anything its easy to just ask medly and it will tell you where you went wrong.

The intuitiveness is great with lots of revision material; there could be a little bit more revision techniques for memorisation etc and fewer bugs to justify the high price, however overall a great app if you’re willing to put your head down and revise.

Medly has been great in terms of getting enough practice with past paper questions and when I'm stuck I can ask the ai on the side. However, they do not have international exam boards, for example I am doing edexcel igcse in quite a few subjects but they aren't on medly so I have had to use the Edexcel exam boards. While they are similar, some content may be different.

Medly has been an incredibly helpful study tool for me, especially as a student transitioning from the IB MYP curriculum to IGCSE. That shift can be quite challenging, but Medly has made it significantly smoother by providing clear, syllabus-focused content that aligns well with IGCSE expectations.One of the standout features is the combination of structured notes with an AI chatbot alongside the content. Being able to ask questions instantly while studying has been extremely useful, particularly when clarifying difficult concepts. The inclusion of mark schemes is also a huge advantage;it really helps students understand how answers are structured and what examiners are specifically looking for, which is something many ai platforms don’t do well.Overall, Medly feels genuinely designed for students, and it’s especially valuable in subjects like science, computer science, and history where understanding both content and exam technique is essential.In terms of improvements, the mobile app could use some work. Compared to the laptop version, it can feel glitchy and less smooth to use, which makes studying on the go a bit frustrating at times. It would also be great to have a highlighting or annotation tool for the notes provided at the start of each subtopic, as this would help with active revision.Additionally, flashcards would be extremely helpful;particularly for sciences, computer science, and history where memorising definitions, key terms, and dates is important. An XP or rewards system for completing questions could also be a great motivational feature, making revision feel more engaging and interactive.Finally, I would really love to see IGCSE CIE English Language and English Literature added to the platform in the future I know this would be incredibly useful for many students.Overall, Medly is a fantastic and promising platform, and with a few refinements, it is easily one of the best IGCSE study tools available and with some small tweaks could become THE best.

So glitchy, marking is wrong, some of the things I'm being asked are not on the spec. also they need to add english literature aqa a level because this is just a waste of money atp

Really good and definitely helps me understand content with their textbook section and how you can ask the AI to help you, the only thing I would really ask to be changed are the examples sometimes given by the AI, how sometimes the AI just stops whilst teaching you a concept and an option to repeat the lessons once you’ve completed them (in terms of, allowing you to actually press go to practice or repeat lesson instead of having to refresh multiple times to try and get the message option again). Other than those, Medly is very good, especially since I’m a student who is currently teaching themself!

I paid for subscription for the year and it wont let me access the facilities.

The AI marking system, particularly for extended written answers (e.g., 4- to 5-marker questions), remains a significant pain point, despite claims of recent fixes.
• Inconsistent Re-marking: When reviewing an answer, pressing the "mark answer" function a second time frequently results in a different score or feedback than the initial attempt. This volatility undermines the learning process, as it's impossible to track progress or identify areas for genuine improvement when the marking criteria constantly shift.
• Inaccurate Marking: The AI often incorrectly flags answers as wrong even when they align precisely with the official mark scheme. This inaccuracy is frustrating and erodes confidence in the feedback provided.
3. Platform Performance and User Interface
The website version of Medly frequently suffers from noticeable lag, which hinders efficient studying. Furthermore, the overall user interface (UI) across the platform could be streamlined, as the current layout can be confusing and makes navigation less intuitive than desired.
Strengths and Recommendations
• AI Chatbot: The integrated AI assistant is highly helpful and performs reliably. I have no issues with this feature and find it a valuable study aid.
• Overall Value: Medly's provision of numerous unique practice questions is an amazing and differentiating feature that is extremely beneficial to my revision.
• Future Subject Expansion: I strongly recommend adding Eduqas Religious Studies (GCSE) and History (GCSE) to the application's subject offerings in the near future.
In summary, while the core value of Medly is exceptional, addressing the technical issues related to stylus input, the severe inconsistency of the AI marking, and improving website performance will be critical to transforming it from a "good" app into an outstanding and indispensable study tool.
