Awful company - same con of offering best price and then changing the offer once they get your phone. Just sell it on Ebay.
Reply: I sold it at CEX for the same as originally quoted by meelie for good condition. The phone was 100% good condition and matched the description. The past 2/3 times I have used websites they try lowering the price. I wont bother any more.

I posted an old mobile off to be sold to Meelie on the 31/3/2023, and had the offered price in my bank account by the early afternoon of the 2/4/2023.
Their criteria for each offered price was very clear and detailed, and above other companies I'd searched.
Messages were sent to inform me, when they had received my package and when the payment had been made.
I didn't know that a tree was planted for every review received but it pleased me to know that.

I’ve sold a few phones over the years and usually just stuck with the well-known names, assuming they were the safest option. To be fair, I’d never had a bad experience… until now I realise just how much better the process *can* be.
This time, I decided to shop around and came across Meelie Mobile. Straight away, they offered me £150 more than the other companies for my iPhone 17 Pro, which definitely caught my attention.
Although they provide a free postal option, I chose to send it via Royal Mail Special Delivery (£10.50) for extra peace of mind given the value of the device. I dropped it off at 13:54 on Monday, and by the next morning, I’d already received confirmation that it had been booked in for review. By 11:30am the same day, I had another update confirming the device met expectations and that payment had been processed into the queue.
The speed alone is impressive, but what really stood out was the communication. Every step was clear, prompt, and reassuring. Compared to other services I’ve used, this has been by far the quickest and most transparent experience.
A special mention as well to Ruby from their team. When I initially didn’t receive my confirmation email on the first attempt, I was concerned about duplicate references and potentially causing issues. Ruby responded quickly, multiple times, and couldn’t have been more helpful or reassuring. That level of customer care makes a huge difference.
Based on this experience, Meelie Mobile have completely won my trust. I’ll be using them going forward without hesitation, and I’ve already recommended them to family.
