Get out and socialize
This app is perfect for meeting new genuine people in a casual, stress free environment while stretching your geographical horizons. I unfortunately live a long way from most members and events, but as I plan some get-togethers (as simple as coffee) that can change.

Great app for meeting new people easily
The app makes it really easy to meet new people and plan activities together. The meetings are well organized, the groups are pleasant, and the app is intuitive to use. I particularly like the fact that you can participate in events spontaneously and always quickly connect with others.

⭐ – Very Disappointing Experience with Meet5
I had a really bad experience using Meet5 and would not recommend it.
First of all, the membership is extremely expensive for what the app actually offers. Many essential features are locked behind a paywall, making it almost unusable without paying. For the price they charge, the value is simply not there.
Second, I have serious data privacy concerns. According to the data privacy information listed on the Play Store, the app collects a large amount of sensitive data, including photos, videos, location data, device ID, and other personal information. Even more concerning is that this data may be shared with third parties. That feels excessive and unnecessary for an app that is supposed to organize social events. It makes me very uncomfortable as a user.
Another major issue: my account was suddenly frozen without any warning or explanation. I was unable to join events, send messages, or create events. There was no prior notice, no clear reason given, and no transparency. Being locked out without explanation is extremely frustrating.
On top of that, customer support is very poor. I contacted them via email multiple times and never received a response. No clarification, no assistance, nothing. It feels like once they have not your money, they don’t care about helping you.
Overall, it feels like the main focus of this app is to collect money and gather user data rather than provide a good user experience. Unfortunately, my experience has been very negative.
I would not recommend this app.

It is absolutely not our intention that our support team did not respond to you—sorry about that! Unfortunately, sometimes things slip through the cracks. The issue of account suspension without notification is also frustrating, of course. We recently had a bug that caused such suspensions in individual cases, but it has now been fixed!
As far as data protection is concerned, we need the data (such as your location) so that you can find meetings in your area. We do not sell your data under any circumstances—the “sharing with third parties” in the Play Store usually refers to technical service providers such as Google Maps, so that the app can function at all.
We would like to take another look at this (including why your account was blocked). Please send us another short email to support@meet5.com with the subject line ‘Feedback Trustpilot’ so that we can find you directly. We would like to clarify this!

This is a great app, I'm living in U.S. and I'm learning English through the app I'm meeting with new people, practicing languages and having fun in several activities.
