Mega Fancy Dress Reviews 

This was the second online purchase, the first was not true to size so returned item(different supplier). I was happy to see actual sizes and not S/M/L. Ordered a 18/20 I am a size 16, but could not either step in or put over my head as actual waist size was minute. No stretch in waist at all would only reach above my knees. I noticed the actual skirt material was plenty enough to fit me, so I have unpicked the back to let the many gathered darts out and I have then reattached this to the bodice. A bit of a fiddle as it was a non stretch material to stretch material. I had no more time to do anything else. Not true to size the top part fits but could have been a bit bigger. This seems to be the norm with fancy dress outfits, do not cater for anyone other than stick thin individuals, good for them but sad for the fuller figure ladies. Why don’t the manufacturers use an adjustable waist with a tie cord. 3 stars given as outfit arrived promptly, good value and would have been 5 stars if it matched its sizing.

They had exactly what we wanted and delivered next day. Perfect.

When I opened the feather board there was a Heap of feathers that were not attached, so is actually not really fit for use as it's half bare now

Not worth the money at all!
Very flimsy material, there were stitches loose and the size was way bigger than advertised.
When I returned the parcel within 30 days and in perfect condition, they didn't even give me a full refund as they promised.
My suggestion is to look somewhere else to buy your costumes.

It’s fine until you have to return the items. I bought 2 fancy dress. Both too small, it cost me £4.50 to post back to them, they then deducted another 10% for “restocking fee” so I paid out £41 and only received back £33. Never known anything like it. Beware!!

Very fast and great delivery.

However trying to do a return is nightmare. Sizing is just a little off.

3 friends and I ordered the same outfit for a party, separately, order was excepted and money taken, then we all received the same email saying the the outfit I ordered was the last one and was faulty, therefore please choose another. Not sure how we could have all ordered the last one and it was faulty. Now they have our money and we have no outfit, please be warned xx

Cheap and they ship out their orders quickly. However, you definitely get what you pay for. Low quality material and garment construction, however for the price of the costume you should expect this.

The size guidelines are not accurate at all. I ordered a medium costume and it was ridiculously large. I had my dad try it on (he wears XL and sometimes XXL shirts) and it fit him. If my experience is a reflection of all costumes, I recommend sizing down.

Pink Ladies bomber jacket and chiffon scarf.
Expensive and sizing comes up very small. Scarf was dreadful - not chiffon, very stiff and not value for money.
Prompt delivery at short notice

I ordered a ‘Santa’s little helper’costume for my daughter on Sunday where the the website states that orders only take 48 hours, which I thought was great given we needed it for today (Thursday). However, it didn’t arrive until after my daughter had gone to school this morning, 4 days later. So this meant she had no costume to wear today. Also on inspection of the costume it is VERY overpriced, made of cheap material and cheap looking.
