Been a couple of times before to this St Albans branch. Atmosphere and service excellent. My real concern, as with many restaurants, is the amount of salt used in all its food. Like so many older peop... See more

Richmond Megan's
Don't lose Georgia! She is the Mrs Megan's of the future just like Hannah Coleman when she worked part-time at Jimmy Choo (she was 17) and now, 26 years later, is currently the CEO. We were greeted by a delightful gentleman who was friendly, helpful and totally uncontrived - he set the positive mood for the evening and if we thought it couldn't get better ... our waitress Georgia arrives ... the best attitude on the planet and knows everything about everything. Abolutely nothing was too much hassle for these two (I am indecisive and they kept the drinks, starters going whilst I spent time working out my main course and asking almost the same question several times!). The food was lovely and so was the atmosphere. It is very hard to find good people and even harder to find a star amongst them - I am sure you have her pegged already ... she is one of those team members (I had one too) where if there isnt a role available at the right time, create one! Sorry other venues havent worked so well - this one is 10/10 so head to Richmond if in doubt.
Megan’s in Clapham Old Town
Went to Megan’s in Clapham Old Town for breakfast. The service was great from Eliza and didn’t feel rushed at all. The food was really good and didn’t have to wait long after placing our order.
Will definitely go again!
Disappointing
Went to Megan’s in the Hamlet Dulwich for the first time today. The food was ok but the service was poor resulting in warm food and fries served separately. Seriously understaffed.
My family & I came to the Battersea…
My family & I came to the Battersea restaurant yesterday afternoon ( Mine & my family first time)…
We were greeted well and seated in your lovely restaurant, however we had to wait 15-20 minutes for our drinks order to be taken which we also ordered our food except for me ( I have a serious Fish/food allergy), I was told my order was needed to be taken from a manager. As our waiter finished taking our order I jokingly said to him “please don’t forget me “ he laughed and said he would send someone over straight away.
After 15 minutes had passed ( still not had my order taken) all my party had their orders brought out and abruptly put on the table. My mum said that my order hadn’t been taken and that we all wanted to eat together. He ignored her and just carried putting the rest of the meals down.
After he had finished he asked why my order hadn’t be taken? I replied that I have a fish allergy ( He rolled his eyes which was rude, and then said there’s no fish on the menu)…
I said yes there is there’s salmon & calamari!
He abruptly said that’s not fish that’s seafood. I then explained that I have a fish & seafood allergy…. He rolled his eyes again.
I apologised for being a pain, even tho it’s not my fault I have allergies.
I then ordered my food , but he didn’t really listen and forgot the chicken from my order.
I couldn’t be bothered at this point as no one was around to tell. We didn’t see our waiter hardly at all.
The waiter did come over and apologise which was nice, But the one that rolled his eyes didn’t ( Not sure if he was a manager?).
I was offered a free drink or pudding.
The pudding I ordered was absolutely shocking!!!! It was supposed to come with ice cream & blueberries but it was just a slab of unappealing greasy sponge.
I wish I had taken the service charge off as we really didn’t get any service.
I really won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone as it’s not a pleasant experience.
Such a shame as it’s a beautiful restaurant!
Guildford Megan’s
Guildford Megan’s: Thank you to our waitress Katy, who was very attentive, friendly and courteous. First time for my friend and I to a Megan’s.
Terrible service, terrible food
Third time I’ve been to a branch of this small chain - this time in Dulwich although previously in Battersea and Islington - every time the same issues - inexperienced staff who are inattentive to the point of being rude, many items unavailable on the menu, extremely long wait to be seated, for orders to be taken and for drinks / food to arrive. When order eventually does arrive is either cold, sub-standard or not at all what was ordered. Wanted to give this chain attempting to provide small local spot feel a good chance but has been utterly disappointing. Would avoid at all cost.
Megan’s at the Flower Market- Ciswick
I totally recommend this place! Such a good- fresh- tasting food!!! Cocktails are also prepared properly!!! The Manager Meeli amazing! Cannot wait to return!
Megan's in Clapham on a Saturday…
Megan's in Clapham on a Saturday lunchtime. Very busy, many things not on the menu, extremely long waiting time to be served and full of people with dogs, most not even on leads. Next table to me had 3 dogs with them.
Extremely unpleasant experience and I wouldn't go back.
Absolutely lovely.
It’s a dash basic but it’s also a really lovely place with decent food and a good bottomless brunch. The servers are almost always super lovely. Can’t ask for more!!
Absolutely fantastic brunch
My husband and I visited the Dulwich branch on Friday for brunch. When we saw the food we had ordered our first comments were there wasn't much of it and it looked really disappointing. We couldn't have been more wrong. It was delicious. The real highlight was Candice....the warmest, friendliest and most helpful girl we have ever experienced in an eatery (and we eat out A LOT!!). If I had a business I would poach her immediately. She is what makes the place fantastic. This will now be our regular, just to be served by her. She is one of those rare people who make you feel amazing just by talking to you. We LOVE her

Love the food and how they do their best to help when we come with our baby
A very poor customer experience on our first visit.
We visited the Kingston branch on 04/11/22. A lovely looking restaurant but a terrible dining experience.
There was nothing pleasant to report as every part of our order was wrong and cold.
We were kept waiting for drinks and did not get what we ordered.
Our food took more than 40 mins to arrive, they said it was being freshly prepared and then arrived cold.
We were offered a free drink and again they got the order wrong. It was untouched.
Lots of apologies but it ruined an overdue luncheon between friends who had not seen each other in awhile.
Then they expected us to pay !
We were enjoying our time and catching up therefore did not notice the time delays.
