I was receiving money for a school workshop and they were paying me through Melio. Melio sent me an email that the money was being sent to me through instant deposit. I never chose instant deposit - instant deposit takes a fee. I certainly would have waited the three days for the money to keep the whole payment, but no way to change the delivery. Very disappointing for them to take fees for hard working teachers . . . . not giving the option to change delivery time. :( : ( : (

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Melio.
On February 4, 2026, their Compliance Team confirmed in writing that my account was fully verified and updated. No issues. No warnings. Everything supposedly passed their checks.
Shortly after, my business payment was suddenly canceled. No clear explanation — just a generic message about “restrictions.” Then, without any real communication, my entire account was deactivated.
Support was completely useless. I was told they cannot provide any information and that the decision is “likely final,” and that I should contact the Verification department. I did exactly that — and they didn’t even respond. I was completely ignored. This is extremely unprofessional.
I am honestly sick of this kind of attitude toward customers, especially from a company handling business finances.
Imagine trusting a financial platform with your business payments, only to be shut down overnight with zero transparency, no real explanation, and no real appeal process.
This is extremely risky for any business. If you are planning to rely on Melio for payments, understand that even after verification, your account can be disabled at any time and you may never be told why.
Financial platforms should operate with professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Based on my experience, Melio failed on all three.
I would strongly advise businesses to think twice before relying on this platform for critical payment operations.

I was having issues sending a client an invoice. Nechial was very helpful in troubleshooting the issue. She also escalated the issue to the tech team to ensure this issue wouldn't happen again.

The AI chat bot BAD; Human service GREAT. The email Melio was not very well worded to guide me to what I needed to do. The AI chat bot was utterly useless until it finally gave me the option of connecting to a live representative.
Amanda was able to help me navigate to where I needed to go in about 30 seconds. She also helped me with a follow up issue that I haven' tried yet but it seems fairly simple. A+ for Amanda, or lets just call her AmandA+!!

I've used this service a few times now without any trouble. However, the most recent transaction I elected for the "get paid instantly" option. They make it quite easy with big buttons and quick actionable selections. Paid 22$ for the payment to show up on the same day as regular scheduled payment. Customer service refused to help/refund the amount, claiming I would have received info on when it was going to be delivered. I may have. But, I feel deceived by the wording. I even have a screenshot from 6 days prior to the funds settling that stated it should have been received that 6 days earlier.

I’ve had an ongoing issue with Melio processing payments before the scheduled date, despite clearly setting future payment dates in the system. This has happened multiple times, not just once.
Because of this, funds are withdrawn from my bank account earlier than authorized, causing overdrafts before my weekend deposits arrive. For a small business, this is a serious problem and completely defeats the purpose of scheduling payments.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of effective customer service. I’ve raised this issue repeatedly and never received a real solution or accountability. No clear explanation, no guarantee it won’t happen again.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this has become exhausting. If you depend on accurate payment scheduling to manage cash flow, be very careful using Melio.

I began using Melio approximately two months ago. During this period, the company processed four ACH payments on my behalf. However, three of those payments failed to reach my account and remain unaccounted for.
Despite multiple inquiries, Melio representatives have not provided any clear explanation or resolution. I have repeatedly been told that the matter is “under review,” yet no substantive updates have been given. Melio has not clarified whether the funds were deposited into an incorrect account, when or if the missing funds will be recovered, or whether there has been any security breach involving my account.
The company’s lack of transparency, accountability, and effective communication has been extremely concerning. Efforts to obtain assistance through their customer support have been unproductive, as I am consistently redirected to online chat agents—with each interaction beginning anew and no meaningful progress made. Requests for a direct phone discussion have also been declined.
Based on my experience over the past two weeks, it has become evident that Melio’s handling of this issue has been deeply unsatisfactory. I strongly urge any current or prospective users to exercise caution when considering using their services until these systemic issues are addressed.

Theirs method let u post all financial details and in final stole them and resell them
Be careful, please don't use them , there's a lot of trusted merchants accounts don't sell your information they can find in US

A vendor payment was charged to my account on December 12, 2025. As of January 9, 2026 the vendor has not received the payment. Melio was supposed to send me a letter showing I paid on time so that the vendor would waive late fees, but they did not. I ended up protesting the charge from Melio and paying the vendor myself. So much for saving time.

Unfortunately, we experienced multiple administrative errors on their end that created ongoing issues. Checks were applied late, posted to the wrong accounts, and in some cases entered twice. As a result of these mistakes, we were charged fees for payments that were only incorrect due to their own double entries. When brought to their attention, they refused to refund the fees or take responsibility for the errors. This lack of accountability and follow-through was extremely disappointing and is something others should be aware of before doing business with them.

I wish I could give NO stars. DO NOT USE MELIO. We are a small business that depends on timely payments, Melio told us Jan 2, WEEKS after the payment was notified and today we have been told its been delayed to the 5th Jan 25. Look at BBB reviews, if the money doesn't come Melio will "investigate" then wash their hands of it, leaving ppl many large thousands out of pocket. Look at the RED reviews on here, is it worth the risk? Just use a bank wire.
