We now offer the new Corona Grey Wax furniture which is fast becoming a best seller. All our items are delivered free of charge to mainland UK and offer a fabulous after sales service on all our products if required. We supply the entire Mexican corona furniture range which includes bedroom furniture, living room furniture, dining room furniture, home office furniture and occasional furniture. Couldn't be happier…

Couldn't be happier with the service I received from Mercers furniture, despite a picking error, which I didn't realise until a few weeks later (I ordered 6 items and started with the smallest and worked my up to the largest, which was unfortunately the wrong colour), Mercers arranged collection of the wrong item and delivery of the right item within 2 days, no fuss, no drama, absolutely brilliant

Very frustrating assembly experience.

Very frustrating assembly experience.

Many parts were not labelled, and the instructions were unclear and difficult to follow. Relying on hole positioning for dowels but no pilot holes for the screws made the process far more complicated than it should have been.

I had help from two experienced handymen, and even they struggled and had to go above and beyond to get it assembled. For a standard flat-pack item, this really shouldn’t be necessary.

The finished product looks fine, but the time, effort, and frustration involved in assembling it outweighed the end result. When I contacted Customer service they did not meaningfully address the issues raised, instead relying on generic responses.

Overall, an unnecessarily difficult experience for what should have been a straightforward purchase. I won't be buying from this company again.

Swift resolution of issue.

Parcel arrived promptly on Thursday 2.4.26 but on checking the contents one side panel of the desk was split in half. Phoned Customer Services at 9.37am and spoke with Jane. She said she would do her best to get a replacement panel dispatched that day but as it was the Easter weekend it would probably not be dispatched until Tuesday 7.4.26 with a delivery date of Wednesday/Thursday 8/9.4.26. However, much to my surprise, the replacement panel arrived on Good Friday 3.4.26 !!! Phoned Customer Services at 9.42am on Tuesday 7.4.26 to express my thanks and appreciation with how my issue was so swiftly resolved. Congratulations Mercers Furniture and especially Jane in Customer Services for going “above and beyond”. Have used this company many times previously and highly recommend them. Many thanks.

Terrible experience and terrible…

Terrible experience and terrible customer service from Jayne - we ordered a shoe rack that came damaged, we had the replacement parts sent across only to find that the box was also missing a piece. This caused a lot of delay and there was no compensation offered for the inconvenience. When compensation was requested we were advised to dismantle the item and return it for a refund. Would not order from them again.

Disappointed

We have several items from here and love them. Bought a bookcase to match the set and it arrived very different to the photos with clear seams on the backboard that really ruin the piece. We spent 2 hours building it and were not happy with it but when we requested return /refund we were told the only way was if we dismantled it again. We were offered a small partial refund to keep the item but overall unfortunately this has made us lose trust in being able to order more pieces from here as its significantly different to the photos online.

I ordered the Corona 3+2 chest of…

I ordered the Corona 3+2 chest of drawers from Mercer’s furniture and the item came with several pieces of wood bowed and bent out of shape and some with splits in. As I needed the drawers desperately I attempted to build them but more wood split. I contacted Mercer’s and explained this, they offered replacement parts or £20 partial refund to keep the product - which is unusable. I explained I wanted a full refund and the product to be returned to them. They advised they could collect the product but it would be any time 08:00-18:00, which is ridiculous and I cannot accommodate that due to work. When I said this is unacceptable they offerees max £30 partial refund.
Awful customer service and very poor quality product.

Beautiful furniture. Looks great and a fantastic price. Buying directly from Mercers website meant I benefited from their excellent Customer Service when I had a question.

Recently ordered a cd cabinet

Recently ordered a cd cabinet from Mercers .I have in the past used them fo other pieces of furniture and been very happy with the quality I had a slight issue with one piece which was split.It was dealt with very efficiently and quickly by Jayne in customer service.Part arrived today,packed very well and intact Would recommend them and also to support a family business is also good.

Do not buy!

Do not buy!! Awful piece of furniture. Pieces of furniture came split and damaged, some parts of wood unpainted and after sending images to the company, the company told me this was the rustic look and the unfinished parts would not be seen 😡
Will take 2 people more than the 90 minutes.
Instructions are awful. Cheap and cheerful is an understatement.. save your money and the stress of 3-4 hrs and buy something that costs a more but is much better quality.
This unit has more splits than a stage of cancan dancers.
Really angry that we’ve accepted a £20 refund because since putting it together, it’s worse than we imagined.
