Awesome site. Thought they sold out for a second due to sudden lack of merchant reviews but they looked into it as you'll see below and now it's back to 100% again. It was just a bad piece of coding in their site. Whew... Thought my amazing and only main resource for this industry was ruined but they fixed it right up. Thanks again guys!! You're the best!!

Update #2-- 5/14/2021: Okay, the bug has been fixed! We had some old code in there that had created all sorts of errors across multiple categories, but it has been fully deactivated and we should be back to our normal 100+ processor reviews. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention!

Currently we send a general weekly newsletter, as well as options to subscribe to several industry-specific newsletters and promotional offers. We don't yet have a frequency option, but hope to have that functionality in the future.

Merchant maverick only reviews a few merchant services companies and leaves out the rest. It seems like they only recommend the ones that advertise with them. To be a truly transparent company they need to expand their horizons.

Thank you for your candor. The truth is that we've reviewed somewhere around 500 different credit card processors over the years, and there are hundreds, if not thousands more. When our company first started, we utilized search engines to determine who the most popular processors were, and we reviewed each of them, one by one, from the top down. But at some point we had to set a limit so that our editorial team could keep them all up-to-date with the latest features, pricing, etc. Like every small business, we are limited by the stretch of our resources, and we don't ever want to compromise the quality and depth of our content, for quantity. The initial decision to review a company is based on its search popularity and reputation. You've probably heard the saying "energy flows where the attention goes" and that is true for us. We focus our attention on the processors that our readers are most interested in, meaning the reviews that get the most traffic on our website are our priority. It's completely reader driven. In terms of paid partnerships--We only partner with companies that have a star-rating of 4 or above. Partnerships are created only after the company has been independently reviewed by our editorial team, and must have received a rating of 4 or above for talks to even commence.
