We met Lauren when she had only been working with Meridian for a couple of weeks.. she was thrown in the deep end with us. First time buyers viewing 3 properties in one go. She was amazing. She made us feel completely comfortable, knew the answers to our questions and seemed generally happy to be there. She wasn't pushy and kept us at ease - couldn't have been a better person to see for our first viewings. We couldn't say enough how great she was!

My experience of Emma has been excellent. She not only came to my property in very short notice, but also gave me a valuation for selling pre and post refurbishment along with a rental value. She was very friendly and easy to talk to and she was clearly very experienced. I would be more than happy to use Meridian knowing she is the Manager and will do so once when my property refurbishments are complete.

For our viewings and dealing with paperwork in the office (so far we are awaiting our references to come back before hopefully moving in to our new place), we had Lakeisha. She was very friendly and informative when showing us around and has so far made everything simple for us. Always a bonus to have a genuine smiling face when going through the ordeal of looking for a new place to live!

Danie was incredibly proactive at finding a property for us to purchase. She listened to our feedback on properties and suggested we saw others in the area at the same time, leading us to make an offer that afternoon. She could recall all the details about the properties and vendor's circumstances which was very helpful. We will definitely be using her when we come to sell in the future and have been impressed with how actively she has progressed the sale since it was agreed.

I can't recommend Meridian highly enough. All the staff that I've dealt with so far have been super lovely, really helpful and quick to respond to any query we may have.

Danie is handling the sale of our property and so far she had been wonderful. She is very friendly, helpful, punctual, knowledgable and just a lovely, trustworthy person to deal with.

I wrote a review on Meridian a while ago giving them 5 stars, because we did really love them, the staff we spoke to were nice and they are the only reason I am giving Meridian 2 stars instead of 1.

The process of showing us around and getting the papers ready was easy and smooth, they were very helpful. I gave them 5 stars because I was asked to write a review before we moved in, and so far I was insanely happy with them. And then we moved in and everything changed.

When we were shown around, we were told the landlord would make several changes to the property and fix the whole place up as the previous tenants had loads of pets and they left it in a poor state. When we moved in, we could tell the only thing that had been done was some of the walls had been painted and even that was done so poorly we would've preferred if they hadn't been done it all. When we first walked in we noticed nails were literally sticking out of the floor in the hallway and some of the bedrooms. Most of our doors didn't shut properly, no lock on the bathroom door, our cat escaped on the first day due to our back door not closing properly, there's chunks of wall missing in some of the walls, holes in the floor, virgin media boxes completely broken and hanging out of the walls, just a lot of damages everywhere, our bath was covered in tape and the list goes on. I took pictures of the defects on only one floor and it came down to 30 photo's. When we were shown around we were promised these things would be fixed up, unfortunately for us, we didn't get this in writing and trusted them. So we don't really have a leg to stand on.

I did send them the pictures and they are sending someone over to look at maybe 10% of the things, but it's taking really long to get a reply, sometimes I don't get a reply at all. Which is odd because before we moved in they were on the phone/email to us every day (which was great, but it would be nice if they could get back to us as quickly when we're in need). We also randomly got hit up a few days after we moved in by someone from Meridian saying he is going to fix our light, which makes me wonder why they couldn't have done that prior to us moving in. When he came over he found out he ordered the wrong colour and he hasn't got back to us.

I guess my conclusion is just get everything in writing. Our rent is more than we were planning to spend and the only reason we went with it is because we were promised the place was going to be done up, hence our massive disappointment. We've done a lot of it ourselves now because we just wanted to get on with it and not wait 5 weeks for someone to fix a light or a door handle. I do really love our place after doing it up ourselves and our neighbours are amazing, but it took a lot of time and stress which could've and should've been prevented.

I recommend Danie, the agent who was handling the sale of the property we’ve just bought. She is friendly, punctual and kept us well informed throughout the process, particularly with any delays. She was also good and keeping on top of both sets of solicitors to ensure things happened when they were supposed to. I would use her services again.

Leah Mitchell, our agent was very proactive in moving things along in a timely manner and kept us regularly updated.
