I pre-ordered around mid-Dec 2021 two Vanitas nendoroids, a Vanitas and a Noé, which were supposed to arrive by the 31st of July. I also pre-ordered a Kuroko figure that should have arrived by the end of August.

After 1 week and no nendoroids, I e-mailed them and got an immediate reply saying it should arrive by the end of the month of August. Nothing.

I wrote again a couple of weeks ago asking about all my pre-orders, and no reply.

I wrote to my bank yesterday, explained everything and received a full refund the following day from the bank. PayPal, on the other hand, will not refund transactions that are older than 180 days. Lesson, don't pre-order using PayPal.

Regarding their website being down, there was still a drop down menu even though it said under maintenance. I logged in and the website is still there as is my account with my unfilled orders.

Did not deliver what promised. CS doen`t reply

I signed up expecting the platform to upload my meetings and provide downloadable transcriptions, but it never worked. I first reported the problem on November 12 and sent screenshots showing that meetings were not uploaded and transcripts could not be downloaded. Despite repeated contact, the issue remains unresolved, and I received no satisfactory help.

Because the tool didn’t deliver what was promised, I had to do all the follow-up, emails, and CRM updates myself, which cost me time and productivity. I requested a refund, but have not received confirmation or a resolution. I can’t recommend this service until they fix these reliability and support issues.

I believe the company has gone into…

I believe the company has gone into administration.

It took a lot of digging to finally realise this and I managed to get in touch with someone who appeared to have 'taken over'.

I was informed that I will not likely receive my item(s) nor will I get a refund.

I am very disappointed but I have no real choice but to suck it up.

If anyone knows of any routes to either get our goods/refund - please let us know.

Preorder never fulfilled and now the…

Preorder never fulfilled and now the company is being liquidated. Can't retrieve money from PayPal as it surpassed the 180 days. Contacted the company involved with the liquidation but I'm not holding my breath. My fault as I'd forgotten which company I pre-ordered from. By the time I realised it was too late. Never heard back from Metageeks after placing my order anyway. They took the money and ran. Lesson learned.

No figure and no refund!

Same experience as the other reviews. Had a figure on pre order, never arrived so asked for a refund. Was given the run around for months and a variety of excuses. Basically, they promised my money would be refunded in Aug 22 but it never happened.

Open a PayPal claim

This company has gone under. I have managed to get my pre-order money through paypal. If you've paid with paypal I suggest opening a claim.

Metageeks had great customer service before it went under. I wish it well in the future under Gamersheek and I hope that everyone can get their money back or indeed their orders fulfilled if possible.

Scam!

Been asking about my pre-order from start of the year and emailed them several times about my sailor moon figures and was told twice that they are having issues with suppliers but now I wanted to ask for another update ebcause they never gave me one from their side and now the website is gone.....I want my money back!!

AVOID to order

In August 2022 I order a Pokemon box cards about 80 euros and the delivery time supposed to be end of October but nothing. I send emails every day but nobody answer don`t know if I can get back my money ever but I encourage you DON`T BUY FROM THEM - AVOID as much as possible.

Don’t use this company

Do not get from this company they have stolen from me I paid for 2 figures and never received them they said it will be within a month then another month and now are completely ignoring my emails and have not given me my money back when I don’t have the products I paid for. Will never use this company again if you are after nendoroids or anime figures I would use Japanese companies rather than ones that rip you off like this one.

I pre ordered 3 items….. still not here ffs

I pre ordered 3 items that came up to £148.85 so not a small amount in January.

They were all supposed to be here on the 31st July and one in march, I messaged them through Facebook on the 27th September about a cancellation because I got them elsewhere and still to this day I’ve heard nothing.

I messaged them several times before and they said they were having shipping issues but now I feel like it’s just taking the mick. I’ve been patient, and kind up until now but when I’ve waited 7 months for one item and nearly 3 months for another I’ve lost all patience.

Scammer. Won't trust them anymore

I have pre-ordered a figure on 12 April and it supposed to be released on 30 April originally. In May I received the email from MetaGeeks that the item delayed to the end of July. So I waited until July and it delayed one month again. Now we come to September and I asked them whether the figure is ready or not. The answer is that they are not sure when is the release date and need to delay one more month. I understand the difficulties of the team but I have no more patience to wait. I requested to cancel the order and they said 10 days are needed for the refund. Yet, after 10 days I still don’t get my refund. And then the website disappeared which scare me so much and wondering whether is a scam. I go to Paypal and luckily my payment is still in the range of 180 days so I can request a dispute. After the long long 10 days for Paypal to investigate my case and finally I get my money back. I am so lucky to get my money back. But I know there are many people can’t get the refund due to their payments are already made over 180 days. I am here to warm you guys that don’t buy anything from MetaGeeks that you will have a heart attack.

Bunch of scammers!

I've had multiple pre order items with them since June 2022, it's now October and their website has shut down, and they've completely disappeared! They've not said anything to us customers about what's going on, they've just took our money and ran! If you've bought anything from these guys, do a chargeback asap. I've been waiting months for my items but was told there was 'stock issues', which is funny as I was able to buy the same items elsewhere without issue. They're a bunch of lying scammers who won't respond to any emails or social media and have run off with our money. If their website ever gets reinstated (which I doubt) avoid them like the plague.

What Happened?

In the past, I've had decent experiences with this website. I had ordered from here before and whilst one of my orders took a while, they did arrive and in good condition.
However, I've tried ordering multiple things from here more recently (during May/June 2022) and the pre-orders were delayed or stuck on "processing" and still haven't arrived 3 months after I placed said order. And now the website has disappeared, so I'm not sure what to do. It's a shame because I've had good experiences with this website in the past, they offered very reasonable prices, but until they sort out the issues with pre-orders, I can't recommend them to anyone.

Order no update & lack responds

I’ve put in a pre-order for 2 binders x3 each so 6 and a pre-order for a pair of sleeves. It’s been over 3 months, they replied back saying there still waiting for the sleeves to be delivered so my order can be sent out. I wrote back asking cancel the sad sleeves & send me out my binders. I’ve not heard back from them & it’s really annoying as well as angry about it. I payed a lot of money for these products & no show with no info on delivery & details. F-

Preorder, no delivery, disappeared

Like so many others here I have had a preorder open with MetaGeeks for most of this year. Mine was in April 2022 and the release date for these items was the 15th August. After missing that first date, I emailed them and was told that the items weren't in the warehouse and they would hopefully be by late September.

I waited until late September. No news, no word. Went onto their website to try and contact them again and the website is 'down for maintenance' and has been for many days. After checking these TrustPilot reviews, I opened a chargeback with my bank, which we'll see how that goes I guess.

If they ever come back up, do not buy from them. Buy from Gamersheek or AmiAmi English (shipped from Japan direct)

Late edit: Their page now says that 'The brand is being taken over' and to 'remain patient' -- How about you deliver products customers paid for, or even remotely communicate with them when your delivery dates constantly slip and nobody can get refunds?

Lies, lies, lies.

I ordered several things, including pre-orders which were expected to come by August 30th 2022. After this date came and went, I contacted them as regards this and was told that they were having difficulties getting shipments. Weird, seeing as other sellers have had the same figures for several weeks now, but I thought nothing more of it as they said they would send the items that were in stock - which they did. They arrived in perfect condition after a couple of days. However, the site has now gone down with no updates to their social media as regards what’s going on. I’m assuming their difficulty with getting pre-orders shipped was that they couldn’t pay for them, not that they couldn’t get them. I’ve filed a dispute with my bank, but this will take up to January 31st 2023 to review. Update your customers as to what the hell’s going on. It’s the LEAST you can do.
