NO REFUND STILL
It has been 2 weeks since they told me it would take 3-7 days for the refund to appear on my account. It is trully a horrible experience getting my money back from this dishonest company. THE COMPANY IS SUCH A SCAM! Nowhere on the website the address of returns is indicated, they don't say you have to send it to back to China (it just says contact us if you wish to return) and wait for weeks for it to be delivered to them praying that your package doesn't get lost in the mail (and even if they do receive it, they would lie it never came).
Dear Metisu, why don't you give proper refunds to every customer you cheated in hopes they don't check their refund status instead of asking for my order number?
Update: got my refund 3 weeks after I was supposed to and only with PayPay intervention

My original purchase was lost by Royal Mail, however the seller agreed to replace the order and communication was great. I know the lead time is a bit long but it is stated so upfront, so no surprises. I am very pleased with the dress and it's quality overall. Good value for money as well.

I can see others have had bad experiences, but my experience was great. I love my dresses! I definitely measured myself before the order and the dresses are true to my measurements. Takes a little while to arrive to the US, but worth it!

I will not buy form them again. No option to return, no label in parcel. Took weeks to arrive, when finally it was like a rag. after 7 emails finally got an addresss to send back to CHINA at my cost. Never known anything like it. returned one to Kaleidiscope and a courier picked it back up FOC !!!!!
Goodness only knows when refund will be made! I emailed returns note for 3rd time today ! and its in parcel, plus emailed Royal Mail Postsgae Proof they should refund from the proof as other companys do. I cannot afford to waste money.

Do not order from this company. I find it insane that they can still advertise on FB. They blocked me from being able to comment, and I imagine many others, because I called them out publicly. I ordered two dresses and when they arrived, they weren't even the same dresses. The measurements were also way off. They do the typical, made in China, routine of offering you a discount for another purchase if you keep the merchandise. Then they tell you that the costs to ship back a return (which you pay) is really expensive so please take the discount. This is nothing but a scam that provides horrible customer service and sends dresses of awful quality and sometimes, not the same dress at all. Don't do it.

I will never order from Metisu ever again! I ordered two dresses one a Small the other a Medium, they sent me Extra Small dresses. I wrote and told them what they did and they said that the items were Small and Medium according to their size guide, REALLY! They were both marked extra small. I told them I didn't want to try to figure out what size to get since they weren't properly marked and they should be responsible for postage since it obviously was their fault. They will not pay for return postage so I disputed the amount with my credit card company. Don't ever buy from this company.

Horrible experience! Avoid at all cost!
Took me 5 month to receive a refund! If you are not satisfied with the item and want to return it, you will have to ship it to China at your own cost! I payed $25 shipping to mail it back. And you cannot track the shipment once it leaves the US. Metisu representatives kept telling me for 3 months that "they are really sorry that cannot issue a refund because haven't received the return, but will refund me as soon as receive the item." What a joke!
Finally I reported them to PayPal and 2 months later received my money back with their assistance, since the dispute was resolved in my favor.
About the item quality. The dress I ordered cost $70 and exceptionally lousy quality: Cheap material that smelled like plastic and did not fit (I have a small waist but the dress was so tight I could barely breath).

Refund still not recieved
May 11: updating my rating. It took a little squeaky wheeling, but they refunded my amount in full and very quickly after they responded to this review. I am pleased, but wish it hadn't been as difficult. It was literally an average experience.
I cannot speak to product quality as this order was cancelled before fulfillment.
May 9: Ordered a dress that never came. Was told I would receive a prompt refund that has yet to come. Have emailed to inquire but have not heard

Terrible dress DO NOT BUY
Ordered two dresses. Have only received one so far, and the sleeves were different lengths, and there was a hole in one of the seams right out of the bag. The material felt like plastic.
Addendum:
They allowed me to cancel my second dress. As the others here have noted, the cost to ship back for a refund is expensive, making returns not worthwhile. They asked me to delete my review, but my review of the dress still stands - very shoddy material (plastic-y fabric - my fiance thought felt like a Baggu bag) and workmanship. They also did note, to be fair, that the sleeves were supposed to be different lengths. I would never wear it, and it went to a donation pile.

I ordered four dresses hoping to find one to wear for my wedding in November. I began ordering several months in advance. As the dresses arrived, nothing was fitting at all. The quality was not what I had hoped and the fit was way off, in spite of my careful examination of the sizing chart for each individual dress. One of the dresses arrived several days AFTER my wedding. It didn’t fit, either, though. So here begins the real problem with this company... I sent all four dresses back on November 28, well within the 30 days requirement, and at my own expense (of almost $80) for shipping. By February, I still hadn’t gotten any refund to my credit card, so I emailed to find out the status. The response was that they had checked the tracking and it was still en route. Sometime in late March, the entire box of dresses showed back up at my house with a stamp reading “OVERDUE RETURN.” Ummm. What? The original postmark of November 28 was still clearly legible on the box. So, I emailed and was told that they have no control over the slow postal service and that the box arrived 4 months outside of the return time. I had done everything I was required to do, within the proper time frame and now I was not getting my money back??! After a number of incredulous emails, I’m left with this compromise: four poorly made dresses that don’t fit and 50% of my money back. Of course, I’m also out the $80 bucks I paid to ship them back, but who’s counting? Bad, bad business. I will absolutely never order from this company again and would suggest to anyone asking that they find a better place to spend your money.

We ordered on April 13th and my Paypal payment went through right away, so today should have been the very latest the three dresses we ordered for my daughter's prom arrived. But I checked the tracking last night and it still says "Processing" and I have no shipment confirmation email (yes I checked my spam). I've called the China phone number twice, FB messaged, and sent two emails, and haven't heard back in 24 hours. I feel like I got completely scammed. I just ordered a dress on Amazon instead and I know I'll get it by Wednesday. BOO!

I am in dispute with Metisu, I ordered a 2XL they sent me a Large. I complained and they said that they had changed their sizing, the L was now a 2XL. I then sent them a picture of the dress with a tape measure showing the waist size which confirms that they have sent the wrong size.
I am sorry to say that THEY WILL LIE TO YOU, and they will lie in their response to this. They will position their mistake in sending the wrong dress as your problem.
I am asking them to guarantee that they will provide me with a full refund ( both for the dress and the £25.00 that it will cost me to return it) at the moment they have offered me £3!
I am escalating this now through PAYPAL. Please be aware of these issues.
NOTE. I believe that many of the positive reviews here and on their website are fake. There is something about them in which the language doesn't ring true. Have a read and see what you think. The first reviews on each page on the website for each item are all very similar. I have analyzed a number and see a particular pattern.
These business practices have been outlawed in the UK, it is only the fact that they operate and are registered in China which means they can get away with this.

Slowest Shipping EVER!!!!!
I ordered two dresses almost a month ago and I am yet to see either one. The company changed the size on both dresses from a Medium to a Large without asking me, because their sizing charts changed. I requested both to be Medium, as I had originally ordered and they called it "an exchange". One dress has supposedly shipped but I cancelled the other because it was taking so long. The shipment tracking doesn't work well either; the site is down most of the time and when it does work there are no updates for weeks at a time.

Ordered a dress 3 weeks ago and still "processing." They changed the size on my order (without me knowing), I asked why, and now it is considered an exchange (back to the size I ordered), and again ... "processing" .... Wish I would have looked at reviews before this impulse buy. Lesson learned.

It's taken me nearly a full month and 4 angry emails to have them finally PROCESS AND SHIP the package. When I got fed up and told them to just cancel my order, that's when they finally decided to ship it out (Even when I told them explicitly to cancel the order). Terrible customer service somewhere in China. Do not buy from Metisu.
