First time "Mother of the Groom".
I am a first time mother of the groom come July 2018 and was looking for a burgundy dress with sleeves to wear on a hot summer month in Provo, Utah. I fell in love with this all lace dress and ordered along two more dresses . I put a rush on the shipping and paid $9.00 extra. I was in panic mode when the dresses arrived minus the burgundy one. I emailed their customer support right away and received an immediate response explaining that they wanted to make sure that I get the dress in its best quality. Hence, the delay. All my apprehensions disappeared as soon as I received the package in record time. The dress was perfect in every way - the color is more vibrant than the picture shown and the fit! It felt like it was custom made for me. Count me as one happy and satisfied Metisu customer!

Utterly shocking service
Utterly shocking service. I received a badly made dress that was 3 inches shorter on one side than the other - I emailed them photos and they said THEY COULD NOT SEE THE DIFFERENCE despite it being very obvious. They said that they would not pay return shipping even though their website said that they would if the quality is bad.

Hi gorgeous people out there in the U.S trying to think Metisu is a good place to find your dress for your next event. I am sharing my experience so another 1000 of people don't have to go through the same crap I had to. If you are ordering any dress without sleeve, you might be ok. But, if your dress has sleeve and you are not extra small person, such as ordering M(US 8 -10 blouse size, not dress size) or L(US 12) for their dresses, you are in huge trouble. Usually they have 3 to 5 processing days + a week of shipping, 2 to 3 days of shipping if you add expedited fees (like 12$). You wait just to find out that the dress has extra small arm/sleeve that your regular M or L have so you don't fit only in arm but the rest fits. Good luck then, because you need to contact support at metisu.com for their return address and they don't respond for a day since they are with China time. Once they do, they are supposed to sell you more discount so you buy another crap from them instead of giving you the address to return. So you sent back another email wait another day so they send you this address (Recipient:Wangping

Although this is clearly quality issue, they take no responsibility and kept denying if you need bigger size which might come with same arm size cutting but bigger body that doesn't fit you. First, you thought they don't get it, but no, they do, they just don't care about where you buy again or not. They are making business with all first-timer who like the picture they see here and bought it and end up in the situation like this.
So, if you were as mad as me, you might still ship it out and get your money back for the dress of 60-70$. Good luck people out there. I am sure if you dare to allow this post on their page.

I ordered 3 items from Metisu. I did not research the company before I made my purchase and I placed my order based of the images. I received order confirmation right away which was comforting. When I read about the 5 day processing time before shipping, I realized that this must be a foreign company I bought from. So I started reading reviews to see what I could expect. The comments and low ratings from the past had me concerned so I reached out to Metisu to cancel my order (my order was still processing). Customer service responded quicker on Facebook than they did via Email. They acknowledged my concerns with the poor reviews and let me know that they have been working to improve their customer service and asked if I would consider keeping my order and trying it out for myself before I cancelled the order. I really did like that they reached and tried to provide customer service, but ultimately I decided I didn't want to take the gamble. Some of the reviews state that they received incorrect items, or incorrect sizes. The Metisu website does state that if you want to return or exchange something you are unhappy with you do have to pay to ship the items back to China though. In some of the more recent reviews, customers did like the items, but it wasn't enough to convince me that my orders would be what I was expecting. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of trying to exchange or return something to China so I asked for the order cancellation. Once I gave my final decision, they processed my cancellation and refund right away. The refund is already posting to my account (less than 24 hour later). All in all, I think I may have over-reacted by cancelling the order. Originally I was really excited about the dresses I ordered and was excited to receive them. Now that I cancelled the order I am sad - but I would rather be safe than sorry. I don't NEED more clothes, these were honestly an impulse buy. I just didn't want to be out the money I spent on them if the products were not what I was expecting. So overall with my experience, this company does appear to be working on their customer service. The order processing time was within the range that they said it would be on their website and the cancellation was processed right away. My order had not shipped yet so I think it was easy for them to cancel. I'm really glad I got my money back. I think I will keep an eye on the reviews and if Metisu starts getting more positive reviews on the clothing quality and correct sizing, I may try them again at a later date. They have a lot of beautiful styles on their website, and if I could truly count on receiving a product that matches the sizing and quality listed on their website, I would love to try them out. I really am looking for reliability though when I make online purchases. If you end up with a good experience, please post your review, I am interested to know if your orders were what you expect based off the images and size chart on the website. Thank you!

I loved my dress!
I ordered the Nude Pink Sleeveless V-Back Evening Dress and then I read the reviews and became nervous. I immediately reached out to Customer Service with my concerns and was so happy when they wrote back to me immediately. It was a good sign. I didn't need a rush delivery because the gala I was attending was a month away. Customer Service assured me that it would show up on time and it did. The dress was more peach than pink, but I still loved it. It is more beautiful in person than the picture on the website. It fit very well. I knew it would be a bit long because I'm only 5'4" and a size Medium so I hemmed it a few inches. I received so many compliments on my dress. I was really happy with my selection and with Metisu.

Sometimes you get lucky
I came across the Deep Green One Shoulder Peplum Hem Mini Dress while searching for something for an upcoming wedding. I hesitated to order because of all of the bad reviews, but I decided to take the risk because I couldn't find the same dress anywhere else. I ordered the XS based on the size chart and my measurements (32-25-35). I was fully expecting the dress to be too small, but it fits well (if it were an inch smaller in the waist it would fit exactly like the model photos). The peplum is slightly longer than in the photos, but I don't mind because it hits right at the knee on me, which is what I wanted. Overall I think quality is good for the price: the fabric quality is as expected, the folds/draping is near perfect to the photos, and the stitching is neat.
Processing and shipping went fine for me. I ordered on 5/29 and received the dress on 6/11 with express shipping. Glad it worked out.

My worst experience ever
My worst experience ever! I ordered two dresses - 1 was too big, I saw this straight away and send the dress back. 3 months passed - still no refund. Second dress I had a chance to wear once and now have a huge hole on the stiches. but this was 30 days after purchase so no refund for me. Quality of dresses is obviously very poor, but quality of the customer service is absolutely not acceptable.

Beware refund TIME and COST
Beware : this seller adopted a policy which will make you not only pay for sending items back to China but also they will deduct original shipping fee EVEN IF THE ORDER CONFIRMATION states that the Shipping is FREE. They will NOT accept this simple argument and they will stop communicating with you. It will be MONTHS before you get some of your money back- and the cost of sending items back will add to at least 25% of the purchase!!!!

I am sharing my honest experience about metisu. I ordered 5 dresses with express delivery as I needed them the following week. I did not notice about the processing time mentioned in the website, I only checked the shipping time which is about 3-5 days for express delivery. So I was so confident that I will get my dresses the next week. After couple of days I checked the website and noticed the processing time and I panicked and I left bad reviews about metisu in all the sites blaming it on metisu (I know it’s not fair on my side) I also sent a harsh email to the customer care. I got mediate response from them , in fact two responses. I don’t think I ever received such a lovely message from any customer care before. They asked me not to panic and I will get my dresses soon as they were shipped already. Don’t want to go much in detail about my story but yes, I received all my 5 dresses on time just like they promised. And to my surprise , the quality and the stitching are just perfect of all my 5 dresses which I was really surprised about as my friends told me that “these online websites don’t do a great job, they show something in the website But you get something else and bad quality” I felt so bad about leaving such a review about Metisu in all the sites. Now I am clearing all my reviews! And, also they gave me 15% discount on my next shopping! Yayyyyy!

Believe the reviews about the returns! I ordered a maxi dress, which, on the model appeared to be ankle length, and by most standards maxi = ankle length. When I got the dress, which took over a month from when I ordered it, it barely hit mid-calf. Additionally, the waist size was nearly an inch smaller than what is advertised on their site. When I contacted them to return, they offered two options: 1. Keep it and get a refund on the next order (FORGET IT-never ordering from them again) or 2. Mail it back to China at my own expense. Even if you mail back the item, you are not guaranteed a full refund. Per their website, if they are unable to resell the item, you may only get half back (after you’ve already paid to ship to China, mind you). When I contacted them about returning, the fact that the maxi was made for someone who was probably 5’2” (I’m 5’8”) was not enough. They made me prove (via photos) that the waist was smaller than advertised and when I did that, they just said it was in the margin of error. I will just sell the dress myself. I’d rather do that than deal with this company for another second. Don’t shop here unless you are ok throwing your money away!!!!

Whether you end up liking their clothes or not is kind of irrelevant - what's poor, in this day and age, is the process for returns. We all assume it will be easy and straightforward, as with most reputable retailers, but because they're based in China, it's not. They actively encourage you NOT to return by offering discount on future orders instead. (Which clearly doesn't go down well, if you didn't like the first order).
So, if you don't like the clothes you're then stuck - as clearly most reviewers have found.
Overall - don't order or be tempted by the pictures/prices. It's a false economy.
And notice how every response from them on here is practically exactly the same.... they're not really interested in the views of customers once they've spent their money.

I ordered a dress which looked really nice in the pictures. It was 65 dollars so you would expect decent quality. Well it was not. I have emailed customer service twice to try and return the item however no one has gotten back to me yet.

Make returns incredibly difficult
Dresses looked great online. I ordered three (in April), one has arrived recently, but the sizing is very weird (waist way too high, even on a shorter frame). It took me three emails to even learn the return address - customer service was trying to persuade me to keep the item. I cancelled the other two dresses, but now I'm still stuck with one and have to try to send it back to China. The refund for the cancelled items has not yet been made. I strongly recommend ordering elsewhere since the return of items is fiendishly difficult and takes a lot of persistence in emailing customer service. The webiste (.co.uk) and prices quoted in pounds mislead me to believe it was an item that could be sent back to a UK address. Also, in the order confirmation it said that I would receive an email as soon as the order was on its way, but that never came. It was also impossible to track the item.
update: I have now received a refund.

I was hesitant at first because the first item I ordered was out of stock and I didn't receive notice until a week after I ordered it. Once I contacted them, via Facebook message, they were great to work with. I love the beautiful dress I ordered to replace the the first one. I received it within a week.

Longer than usual , but so worth the wait!!!!
While it took longer than I was used too, at first i was frustrated. But, when I received the dress i was STUNNED at the quality of the product. It was beyond beautiful. The hand stitching was impeccable. So , like the old saying, nothing worth having is easy. I will accept the long time for around for the quality. Well done. I am so in love with my dress!!
